Needed an appointment before Christmas as my filling had come loose and was causing me problems. The reception staff were great and fit me in. The dentist James was very good and even managed to sort it without numbing Injection which was great. I am a very nervous patient due to the school dentists years ago. Acorn Dental at Skipton are brilliant.

I wasn't looking forward to my dental appointment (who does?) but I must say it was very pleasant. The lady on Reception was most welcoming, so lovely and friendly. She made me feel at ease, explained the procedure and which dentist I would be seeing. The dentist Nic was really nice too, he was informative and helpful. Overall, I was very happy with everything at Acorn, thank you all. Gill

It was the first time I had been to this dentist after moving to Yorkshire nearly 5 years ago! My husband and I had to go private as an NHS dentist was unobtainable. Now we have been accepted on Acorn dentists in Skipton and we were over the moon! They were very thorough and very nice and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thank you Acorn dentist!

Just transferred from another Dentist to Acorn. Sometimes, some things are meant to happen in life for a reason. What a lovely team of people here. Receptionist was a very happy and friendly person. The dentist I saw was called Michael and he was very nice, patient and just great person full stop. I chose Acorn from all the other dentists by looking at other people reviews. Sometimes reviews don't match up to expectations, but they certainly did this time.

Had an excellent day today at Bingley St Ives. Seniors Open Day. Great service from the Bar/Restaurant. Good food reasonably priced. The course was in really good condition. Lots of work being done on the paths etc. A Massive project removing diseased rhododendrons and trees 😫. This does not effect your game just some GUR and drop zones to be aware of. Spotters on the course helping to find golf balls. Ladies with refreshments at the half way house 😊. Well done for holding such a well organised and professional Seniors day 👏

Beautiful estate with a lovely walking trail and a cute little pond with ducks and swans, very scenic. There is a small park too with some swings and slides and a small zip wire which was fun.

I moved into the area fairly recently, around 3 months ago and have been eagerly waiting to be able to play golf again since last September when i ruptured my ACL. I went down at 16:00 on Sunday for a quick 9 holes and was greeted by lovely staff and a club house doggo who is very friendly. The weather was temperamental but overall not so bad other than the wind. Course Overall the condition of the course was good, some greens had small area’s which looked like they wanted some attention but they didn’t affect any of my shots. The fairways were all very well kept, as you will see with my attached images. The course felt long for 9 holes, which is good! It isn’t a boring typical 9 holes and other than having more water hazards, it didn’t want for much more. The course is also quiet punishing as anywhere but the fairway and you will be deep into thick tree’s where you will find it hand to see your ball, let alone get it back out! (bring extra balls!) I’m currently playing with a handicap of 14 and genuinely see this course as a way to improve my game from time off as previously mentioned. The course would challenge all levels of golfers from scratch players to newby’s and i can confidently say everyone would enjoy the experience here. All in all great fun, challenging course 🙌🏻

First time playing here today. Was pleasantly surprised by how good this course is. Been looking to improve my golf after playing elsewhere for many years. Met the owner Fred. Jolly good chap and very welcoming. Quite long for a 9 hole but I’ve found my favourite course to play now.

Great Golf club friendly staff and good prices mid-week for non-members. The fairways are really well kept. The wildlife around the course is fantastic. Some really good challenging holes, would definitely recommend

I love going to play golf here they always try to get me in the time I would like and I love the fact that I can get buggy as well. The course is trying but yet forgiven. The greens are very good condition at the minute so if you get chance get yourself out for a cheeky round. I think that you will like it. Not forgetting the views are amazing

The best golf course in the area, and one of the best in Yorkshire. A beautiful hidden gem, with a great variety of holes, and true greens. Perfect for golfers of all abilities and ages.

This course is beautiful with great history. Nathan, the pro was so kind, even after running late because our rental car broke down. We didn’t specify that we needed rental clubs in the booking and he still ran to the basement and put some together while his other 2 sets were booked out already. I couldn’t recommend this beautiful course more. It’s unique features as an Alister McKenzie course brings holes that crossover like a plane runway. You can play the original amen corner. This is a must play at a great price!

First time playing here and couldn't help being impressed. The course isn't the longest you'll face, but the fairways are really good, the greens are decent, and the views are stunning. There are a few blind tee shots, but it's not an especially difficult walk. It's also the sort of course that all standards of golfer can play and still enjoy. My favourite hole by far is the par 4 7th, which is played over a marker post and then downhill to the green. Highly recommended, and an absolute bargain of a green fee.

Nice location and friendly staff, only negative if the approach road which is difficult to find and very narrow.

Had Sunday lunch here again today. We booked last week with friends. But we just called in today and had lunch from normal menu. My wife had Ham, egg and chips , I had Large Yorkshire pudding filled with tender beef, carrots, spring cabage, roast potatoes and loads of beef gravy 😀. Try it you'll love it. Girls very friendly and the Guinness is okay too.

A great golf course with some fantastic views. It can attract high winds & become very cold.

Played here today and it was a real pleasure. The course was in great condition particularly bearing in mind the previous week of rain. It is a good test of golf no matter what standard you are, the views are amazing and the members are very friendly something that you don’t always find as a visitor! A special mention for the Pro shop staff who were super helpful. A great experience all round.

I booked Keighley Golf Club for my husband’s 50th birthday celebrations and it was the perfect venue. Emma and the team made everything so easy, made us all so welcome and ensured the evening ran perfectly. The AV set up is fab, evening food was plentiful, and the venue just great for parties and celebrations - really clean and well maintained too. We booked the venue after attending another friend’s birthday celebrations at KGC a couple of years ago and were not disappointed; beautiful location, friendly staff and great food, we’d definitely recommend to anyone!

This is a lovely place to go. I keep going back a lot what says a lot for me 😂 but i would definitely recommend getting a golf buggy as it has some good hills ⛳🏌️♂️🏌️♀️

I've only played it once whilst on holiday nearby, but my initial impression of East Morton is a 9 hole course with lovely views and excellent greens. It's also on the side of a hill, and I can't remember a single hole where you're not either going uphill or downhill, so that has to be taken into consideration if you struggle with climbs. This isn't an especially easy course, with trees lining pretty much every hole, and on a few of them it'd be really easy to get out of position. The tees were decent, and the greens were really smooth. There isn't really much of a clubhouse, just a small office where you can play or grab snacks or drinks for your round, but the welcome was warm. I didn't see much in the way of practice facilities other than a couple of nets, but it looked like there was a practice green under repair. It's certainly worth giving a go if you're in the area.
