This is an unfairly late review, especially considering our delightful weekend stay in early summer. Every single member of staff seemed markedly pleased to be working at the Wood Hall Hotel, they were each genuinely lovely, and truly *enjoyed* being hospitable. They are an asset! I wish I could remember the room number now, but it was one with a bay window and a pretty view. We arrived exhausted and left on the Sunday definitely buoyed up. I do recommend.

We recently stayed at this location for a conference, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Situated on the outskirts of Leeds city center, the venue offered a serene and picturesque environment, providing an excellent vantage point to admire the stunning Yorkshire landscape. The location struck a perfect balance—close enough to the city for convenience, yet far enough to enjoy a peaceful retreat away from the urban hustle. The accommodations were superb. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully furnished to provide the utmost comfort. The staff were equally commendable—polite, professional, and always eager to ensure our stay was enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, their friendly demeanor and attention to detail left a lasting impression. One of the highlights of our visit was the food. The dining options were outstanding, offering a delightful array of traditional British dishes. Each meal was prepared to perfection, showcasing the richness of British culinary heritage. One particular item stood out—a cheese infused with apricot. Its unique blend of flavors left a lasting impression, though, unfortunately, I cannot recall its name. Overall, our experience was fantastic. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food made our stay truly memorable. We would happily return in the future.

Best pizza I have around this area for a long time, including rubbish recently serviced to me at slaid hill. Pepperoni pizza superb. Gorgeous chips. Lovely donner, meat cut too thick for my liking but lovely. awesome curry sauce. Very clean. I live locally and cannot believe I have not tried this place before. So so many locals were coming and going and the fish and chips look amazing. Lovely staff. A must try. £23 for a 12” pizza, large fries, donner, curry sauce and bread cake. Incredible value.

Called in on New Years with a varied order for 20 people. I was a tad sceptical about the quality of fish and chips at a mixed food outlet, however I had no need to be. Fish & chips were excellent quality, freshly cooked and huge portions as well as great value. Owner and staff were first class. A hidden gem which we will definitely visit again.

Found this place in the town centre while nearby for a walk. You can't book in advance but luckily we managed to get a table downstairs (they also have tables upstairs as well as covered outside tables) Very interesting menu to please everyone including big and small breakfasts, pancakes, french toast as well as some very nice sounding brunch items. I got the smash burger which was really really good. The meat was perfectly cooked, juicy and tasted lovely. But the fries that came with it - the best fries I've ever eaten anywhere! They were perfectly cooked, tasted amazing and the portion size was good. My wife got the lemon & blueberry pancake which was also good (not as good as my burger though!). Great portion size, plenty of fresh fruit and good amount of pancakes. I also got a latte which was very nice. Service was great, food was amazing, and I can see why they were so busy. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back (Please keep the burger on the menu!)

Stopped here to break a snowy drive with a dog and baby. Excellent service straight away, and they had a kids menu that was varied and good, and vegan brunch options. I had pancakes which were brilliant, and a chai latte. Would highly recommend!

Stopped here for a quick lunch and had a great experience.The service was attentive and friendly. Lunch was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. We tried the special schnitzel and the chorizo hash—both were flavorful and generously portioned. There’s plenty of choice on the menu and drinks were good. Great value and a great spot for a nice lunch. Highly recommend!

The best coffee in Leeds! Lovely, friendly, knowledgeable staff and a delicious selection of cakes and sandwiches. I love that it's both kid and dog friendly, good for those with dietary requirements, and the rotating batch brew is a great way to try new, interesting blends from roasters all over the UK. Cannot recommend this place enough

We came to the opposite cafe for a bite to eat and coffee - it is located in the middle of Chappel Allerton. We were able to sit outside in the courtyard and enjoy the coffee - which was smooth and served at the perfect temperature. I would reccomend the opposite cafe to anyone in the local area!

Such a cute coffee shop that is located heart of Chapel Allerton city centre. Coffe tasted great, the shop was nice and clean! There are some outside tables available as well as inside.

By far the best Deli, Take-Away and Coffee Shop in the Wetherby Area!! Lisa and the team have created an absolute Gem with great service, great food and a wonderfully friendly, community based approach to everything they do. 1066 Deli offer a huge range of sandwiches, cakes, delicatessen items, take-away options, salads, coffees and cold drinks; so whatever you fancy make sure you give them a try!!

We visited the 1066 Deli Bakery for the first time and I can honestly say I am impressed. Inside the store there are a variety of edible goods for sale ie, vegetables, fruit, biscuits, pop all Yorkshire products. At the back of the shop is the deli/bakery which offers a competitive menu of hot and cold sandwiches, jacket potatoes, tea, coffee etc. with a special's menu. The bakery has a wide selection of homemade cakes all at reasonable prices, friendly welcoming staff and no long waiting times.

i love this deli my husband goes everyday and gets coffee and me a ham salad, we are from Leeds and its defiantly worth the travel, i thought I'd try the steak pies and the quiche and honestly the best steak pie ever, my husband said the quiche was one of the best he had bought also, i will always buy from here now. The sandwiches are always so fresh, and the fresh orange juice is amazing I can't fault this place even if i try. 100% recommend to Friends and family. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming, can definitely tell the staff take pride in what they do. :)

I first visited almost 2 years ago after finding by accident. My daughter requested to go for her 19th birthday today as she liked it so much the first time. It did not disappoint! This restaurant is a fantastic dining experience. The food is beautiful and served extremely well. What makes this restaurant really stand out besides the delicious food is the wonderful staff. So friendly, welcoming and a fantastic sense of humour, personalities and communication. Great with kids and just an amazing overall experience for our party of 8. Highly recommend this restaurant as a place to visit

Had a lovely family celebration at Piccolino Collingham this evening. The service was outstanding from start to finish, especially from our waiter Brad who was extremely attentive and friendly. The whole evening went perfectly for a party of 21 guests. The food was delicious and came out seamlessly. It was a lovely atmosphere and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Visited for dinner with friends for my wife’s birthday back end of last year. Telephone ahead to ask for balloons and table decorations, nothing was too much to ask for. Met family for a quick lunch. Pub wasn’t too busy, it was 12 but was filling up when we were leaving. The beef burger was pretty standard but the chunky chips were delicious. Staff were nice and friendly and the pub was clean so all in all we would go back.

Lovely pub in a nice location. The food was excellent, good portions & really well presented. The interior of the pub is very traditional. The staff were friendly, helpful & polite. There is a good selection of beers. The menu isn't overly complicated, but it does give a varied choice.

If you're in Wetherby, Snug and Chatter is a hidden gem! This cozy bar/restaurant strikes the perfect balance between relaxed pub vibes and delicious dining. Great little place tucked away and the food and atmosphere are really good. The only thing to note was the service which, on both occasions we have visited, was a little slow. We had to chase someone down to order food and drinks as we were left waiting. When we did get service, the team are really helpful and polite. Apart from that, the food is really good and in generous portions. The outdoor seating area is lovely when the weather is right(!)

The pizzas are freshly made and delicious. The guys behind the counter are awesome, they couldn't do enough for us. My son likes less cheese on his pizza, so they called him over and asked him to tell them when to stop putting cheese on so that he could get exactly what he wanted. Can't recommend this place enough, don't miss out!

This place does the best Garlic bread EVER. We stop here every time we pass, their premises are very clean, they are extremely Friendly but the food is top notch, 10 out of 10. If your passing and don't go in and order you are missing a trick. Highley Recommend :o)

I'd have the chicken or mixed grill as my last meal. It is so good. Its my favourite meal. It tastes so so good!!! I've made 5 people try it so far and they love it too. Excellent and delicious!

Came here with my friend and my son for lunch. We had booked as it gets so busy apparently. Lunch menu was lovely, lots of choice and very reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Could do with a bit of TLC however it would not put me off visiting again as it was lovely.

Really nice pub in Wetherby serving a great selection of ales. There is also freshly made food available. Very popular with the locals. The staff are warm and friendly; the chef has an excellent reputation serving quality food. I've never seen a dish go back!
