The reception staff and the vets are so lovely and incredible! Fit me in on the same day with my puppy when I had a concern and are always so welcoming. My puppy absolutely loves it there and all the attention he gets from the girls! Wouldnât go anywhere else. Reasonably priced too compared to other vets đ

Nice course and not outrageously expensive. Greens are pretty consistent although some of the fairways are a bit lumpy and can give some random bounces. That's my excuse anyway.

Good golf course, challenging yet forgiving if you manage the course. Beware the bunkers, lol. Golf buggies available. Book tee time on line and buggy. Discounts on buggies for medical reasons.

This course is easily one of the best in Hampshire its playable all year round due to it having great drainage and being based on chalk. The greens are in prefect condition all year round, much needed development is happening and its making the course stunning to look at aswell as to play. The club is very welcoming and has a very mixed age group with great attention payed to younger players to get them into golf. I also got married at the club and every part of the day was so well organised and put together. Test valley really is a great club.

I have played here over the years and recently twice. The staff are all polite, friendly and helpful. I rely on them to pass on my compliments to the kitchen crew for excellent meals, and the greens staff for a well maintained course. Not the cheapest but certainly best value for money on a society day out.

My partner and I went to this lovely place for dinner and I proposed to her there. I truly cannot thank the venue and staff enough for helping me make the evening so special for us both. They went above and beyond to help me arrange things, keep it secret and truly made the evening unforgettable for us both. The service, food and atmosphere every time we go to the charming place is always absolutely excellent.

An end of Summer family visit for a Sunday roast and pudding afterwards. This pub has been consistently excellent over the years and is our go-to place for a decent meal. Always a no hassle attitude and they're always ready to help. It really makes a difference for us. The fact this place is dog friendly is so special! Really nice pub with good food and friendly staff with a really chilled out atmosphere. The Sunday roasts are amazing. The lunch menu during the week is equally mouthwatering. The staff are really hard working and polite. Best pub in the area easily!

Lovely country pub, cozy, nice decor in keeping with a classic pub and good food. Best of all itâs not just dog friendly but actually has a menu for dogs! Our lab was in heaven đ. We took our daughter (whoâs a student in Winchester) to give her a treat. Itâs a really short drive from the city and thereâs plenty of parking. Weâll definitely go back.

the first word that comes to mind to describe our meal today at the Plough Inn was ⊠WOW! Staff were attentive, polite, and very friendly, and the whole atmosphere was lovely! we ordered a mixture of meals from the normal menu, and the daily specials - all of which were truly delicious! my dad particularly enjoyed the venison sausages, and the pulled pork burger I had was to die for! portion sizes were excellent and great value for money, and lots of choices. honestly, couldnât praise the staff and food highly enough - will certainly be returning, and the kind of place we will tell all our friends about! out of this world!!

I've been with this vet practice for a few years now and since day 1 both the vet team and reception staff have been very warm, understanding, kind and attentive to my pets needs. The vets have always been lovely and happy to answer any questions and I even got a follow up call about my pet to see how he is doing the following day. Every vet I've seen here is passionate about animals and has treated my pets like they were their own.

I had an excellent experience with this vets. The staff were incredibly helpful and informative throughout the entire process. The vet who tended to Koko was exceptionally kind and gentle. He handled her with great care and made sure she felt comfortable and at ease. It is evident that Koko is in good hands, and I truly appreciate the compassionate treatment she received. I highly recommend this surgery.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Took my girl in for a day yesterday and they were all reassuring and the information provided when we collected her was super helpful. Her cut was small and neat. Have used this branch for 15 yrs and would never go anywhere else. The only downside is a month after my dogs spay, I got a message saying I owed them money for additional tablets they issued at the operation day, I have paid it, but it was their error as they forgot to add it to the invoice! So be aware of your bill so as not to fall fowl of their errors.

Very friendly service and always on time. The nurses and vets treat all animals the same from my rats to my kitten. It's better than the vets I last had with my cat years ago. But shame not one closer to basingstoke town centre as its quite a way to go but still worth it.

Fabulous restaurant the atmosphere and cuisine was unbelievable. Ali our main waiter was superb and really couldn't do enough for us which made the experience so much nicer
Rating: 5 / 5
The restaurant is nicely laid out, being open plan, with tables are functional and not flashy and are reasonably well spaced apart. The kitchen is also an integral part of the restaurant, providing fabulous aromas to add to the experience. The menu is not extensive, which to my mind is a good thing. As expected, all of the dishes were nicely presented, with the hot dishes cooked perfectly. The oysters were very fresh and habeen shucked just prior to serving. I ordered the shellfish ragoût for my main dish, which was delicious. The service is as one would expect from a high-end restaurant - our server was really polite and efficient. This wasn't a cheap night out, but I was very happy to pay a premium price and the 12.5% service charge for top-quality food and the attentive staff.

My friend took me here for lunch today and it was such a wonderful surprise and a fabulous food experience. We chose the house white wine - which was beautiful - and then I chose the shellfish linguine ragu. It was beautifully made and so tasty. My friend chose Oysters Pernod and then the Mussels - which he throughly enjoyed. For desert, we shared the Winchester Pudding - which was sumptuous and we could happily have eaten more, only we were full. The service from the staff was fantastic and they added to the whole experience. The decor was relaxed and inviting and the atmosphere was lovely and chilled. It was such a lovely experience and I happily paid the optional service charge. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal and experience. đ

The service was impeccable absolutely worth the 12.5%! The food was fantastic but the mussels stood out-a must try if you visit. We shared the mussels as a starter which was very well accommodated. It was served well presented in split portions so we had absolutely no fuss. For mains we had the lobster w/fries and the Indonesian seafood curry both we enjoyed. The service was unexpectedly amazing. A very pleasant late launch in Winchester. We will be tempted to try any other Rick Steinâs restaurants we across.

What a place. Always walked past and never gone in, but it's stunning. Beautiful building with a beautiful inside. I could have had the chorizo scotch egg for starter, main and dessert it was out of this world and beautifully presented. Didn't stay there just visited for food.

We are staying for the weekend locally and was recommended here from our host. Called for a last minute booking and although fully booked they manage to get us a table in the conservatory. What a quaint space and perfect for us with Christmas decor and low Christmas music playing. Serving mulled wine as well. My party had bangers and mash, paneer wrap, pie of the day (proper pie fully encased with Turkey, ham and leek) and Lamb with dauphinois potatoes. Our plates said it all as they were all cleaned up. Two of us decided to have the lemon cheesecake for desserts and itâs one of the best cheesecakes weâve had. Food was delicious and nice portion sizes. Highly recommend and will return when we return to Winchester. Enjoy đ

Great hotel and Golf Courses! Stayed here in October with a group of golfers and had a great time. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff who really looked after our group on an Autumn Sunday evening. 3 challenging groups of 9 holes with different characteristics so both the rounds we played felt different. Overall a great break.

Firstly I give a 5 if someone or a business goes the extra bit, Sandford Springs you have earned a 5 and well deserved. We booked for New Yearâs Eve dinner & overnight stay. When we arrived checking in was very pleasant friendly welcoming staff on reception. We were given our room number and key card the receptionist said the cards will open either door, my wife and I were a bit confused but thought nothing of it. We entered the room to find large table, sofa, tv extra, but no bed? Then we entered the room properly and went through a pair of double doors to find the bedroom. WOW blown away they had given us the Wolverton Suite. Evening 4 course meal and service was fantastic well worth the trip. One little niggle as the hotel was full could of done with one more member of staff at breakfast as the two lads worked their socks off. Once again thank you too all the worked New Yearâs Eve and New Yearâs Day magic start to 2025.

A nice place to stop off and have lunch and a beer. The service is excellent and the food was nicely presented and tasty. The local beer is nice and refreshing especially on a hot day. There is not much breeze so this outdoor area can get quite hot but so nice being beside the river. The WC's are upstairs and kept so clean and tidy. There is a WC downstairs for disabled access which was good to see. Really nice place to stop off and would go there again.

We came for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were a little earlier than most people it seemed! We easily found a seat (lots of tables were reserved, but for lunchtime it seemed). Placed an order and breakfast came - Two full English breakfasts and a stack of American-style pancakes with blueberries. The food was fantastic: the pork sausages were as good as they can get (from Owton's Butchers). The coffee was OK. The pub was looking in good shape with a theme of Winchester and pubs in the town. The young lady serving us was nice and approachable. Another couple came in and sat by the open fire, and the young lady serving them added a log to the fire - warmed up the place in more ways than one.

Great pub, very traditional, comfy, and a good choice of drinks - beer was great - food amazing and a really cosy atmosphere. The staff were happy, helpful, and had answers ready about food and beer. You could taste beer before you choose, and the location was away from the main drag, but so close to everything. I really liked it here.

We thought with its prime location that it would be busy on a Thursday lunchtime. We were pleasantly surprised and found a table with ease. You order at the bar and just sit back in cider seat and watch the river and the world go by whilst you wait for your food. The staff were lovely and the food was well presented. After the hustle and bustle of the city centre this was a lovely quiet, peaceful change to enjoy a delicious lunch.
