I can't recommend Village Vets enough. We've been registered with them for years and have had nothing but the very best experiences. Both Pat and Tom have a wonderful way with both my cat and dog and I always feel they are in the very best hands. They always take the time to explain everything and give you all the options available. They were especially kind to me when my cat was attacked by a dog and really made an awful experience a lot easier to deal with. My cat has both chronic kidney disease and hyperthyroidism and Pat has been excellent throughout, providing us with guidance on treatment and helping keep my cat's stress to a minimum. Would highly recommend.

We have recently moved to Valley park and fortunate enough to have our dog registered with this fabulous vet practise. Pat and his very lovely team have been above helpful, friendly and professional in dealing with me, our dog and a couple of other issues. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Village Veterinary Centre to anyone looking for somewhere fab with pets.

Incredibly impressed with the work that Paul and Ben have carried out this week. Having recently moved into an older property, a few items required attention such as installing ceiling lights and fans, disconnecting obsolete lighting and heating controls, updating the consumer unit and replacing the old garage electrics with new sockets and lighting. They carried out excellent work professionally, cleanly, and in a timely manner. Nothing was too much trouble and invoice came through exactly as quoted. Graceway is a company I would definitely use again, very highly recommended.

We can’t recommend Paul highly enough. He has done a fantastic job of installing ceiling lights and shelf lighting as well as electric sockets in our home. He helped with the selection of fittings and gave excellent advice. He always replied to text messages and arrived promptly each time he visited. We would definitely use him again. He’s a very tidy worker and left the area he was working on cleaner than it was when he arrived!

I love Kingsclere Veterinary Surgery (which feels much more spa than surgery) but more importantly, so does my 14 year old cat! The reception team are calm and welcoming both on the phone and in-person and the vets highly knowledgeable, experienced and kind. I've really appreciated the amount of time devoted to each consultation and the truly bespoke service offered. Such an improvement on previous clinical experiences we've had that made me dread taking her. Huge thanks.

Kingsclere are an amazing vets and I can’t recommend them highly enough! My dog had her paw sliced on glass and they were just fantastic with her care and follow up appointments. I’m based in London but would rather venture to Kingsclere because they really are the best. You never feel like you’re being upsold on anything and I always trust their opinion on what’s best for my dog.

This is the most lovely, caring veterinary practice that I have ever been to. Laura and her wonderful team looked after my pug Reggie when he visited for a dental appointment this week. During every step of the day that Reggie spent with Laura I received photos and updates reassuring me that all was okay. The level of care and professionalism was second to none. The practice has a lovely calm vibe and is very unlike any other I have been to, both pets and owners are put at ease. I cannot recommend Laura and her team enough, they couldn’t have done any better.

My dog simply loves his visits to Kingsclere Veterinary Surgery, where the staff make him feel welcome, happy and relaxed. And I’m equally happy with the care they give, the time they take to explain everything, and the quality of treatment. So far he has only needed routine checkups and vaccinations, but I feel confident that, if anything more serious arises, he will get the best possible care. Pippin was delighted today when I told him we were going to the vet, and very happy and excited when we arrived, as always! Thank you for his vaccinations, which he didn’t notice because he was too busy licking up the liver paste he had come for.

Cedar took great care of our 10yr old JRT today as he underwent a (big) lumpectomy, we have always used cedar for both our JRT's & recieved nothing but the best. Here he is in the car on way home, strapped in looking like nothing happened! Thanks Cedar! Especially Millie Hopkins!

An unplanned emergency trip due to Lily choking on a bit of biscuit. The receptionists immediately went to get help and took Lily directly out the back.After what seemed an age Millie called us in and said that Lily was ok after a spell in an Oxygen tent. I can't fault the team at Alresford,they are always friendly and helpful regardless of the reason.Its clear they care deeply about all their patients. Thank you from Lily and Daisy

My border terrier Monty slipped and injured his back and was having problems walking in his back legs. From the start everyone was fabulous, and his vet Louise was amazing, very reassuring, and professional. Monty is receiving the best care and doing really well!

Very responsive to request to review issue with light in overhead extractor fan. Assessed and ascertained problem, agreed together that repair of fitting would be better for environment than replacement of whole unit. Arranged further appointment and fixed in good time. I really appreciate Sarah's no-nonsense honesty and openess about the jobs she helps with. I'd be very happy to recommend her for any work that needs doing.

Sarah was very professional and responded to my query via her website the same evening. She kept me informed when she was going to be slightly later than originally planned and she worked in a very tidy and unobtrusive way. She checked exactly what I wanted and that I was happy with her work when completed. An excellent electrician and very polite. I would absolutely recommend her and use her services again

Having got myself in a DIY pickle, Sarah came to my rescue! Called her on a Saturday afternoon and she came over within a few hours! Incredible service, great communication and clearly very skilled and knowledgeable. Sarah's charge was also extremely reasonable considering that it was a weekend call out - many other electricians would have named their price! I will definitely be using Sarah again and recommending to others.

I took my neighbour's cat in last night just as the vets were closing. I knew she looked very unwell and was very old. We didn't have an appointment, I just called in a panic and they said to come straight there. They were so so kind to us. They stayed open late and did all they could for her. They were so good at updating me and calling her owner on the phone. Then they waited for me to get my daughter from work to say goodbye. They gave us tissues and cried with us. They were so kind to Angel the cat and all her humans. They worked out what was wrong and kindly explained to us all, over and over again, that we couldn't have done anything else and it was time to make her comfortable and let her go. Their kindness and empathy of all the staff, the vets and the receptionists really helped us at a very sad time and ensured that Angel's final moments were calm and stable with people who cared for her and we are very grateful to them all

We cannot fault Hook Veterinary Surgery, all the staff are so helpful and friendly. We have pet plan and pet plan+ for our fur babies. Pet plan+ really does give you extra peace of mind knowing that you can go for a consultation and not have to pay anything for that. You also get a good discount on treatments and products with pet plan. We have had our first dog spayed and also teeth cleaned there, they give such amazing care. Our new rescue dog is booked in for teeth cleaning next week and then a spay in March, we know she will be really cared for. Highly recommended.

Came for the pancake week specials, was not disappointed. I got a steak and egg 2 stack anf my partner got a buffalo chicken 1 stack. All delicious but she was the dinner winner. We shared the veggie tots which were lush as always.

Amazing breakfast at Josie’s in Winchester! The place is super popular, and we had to wait for a table, but it was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere was lively, the service was great, and the food was fantastic. I had the breakfast pancakes, and they were incredible! Everything about our visit was spot on—highly recommend if you’re in the area! 🥞☕

Pretty busy on a Sunday lunchtime so they took our number and buzzed us an hour and a half later (shame you can't book). Once there we all had a double stack of pancakes which were very filling and tasty. Perfect place for a treat, highly recommend.

Absolutely did not want to be there but the service we received was second to none. Kind, caring & considerate. The vet (sorry I cannot recall his name) who helped our Ronnie over the rainbow bridge was so quiet, calm & caring & gave us as much time as we needed. Ronnie's passing gave him the peace he deserved after fighting for so long & was very quiet & peaceful.

We called MiNightVet because our cat was limping quite badly and we wanted him seen quickly fearing a broken bone or infection. The service was excellent, I had an appointment inside an hour, the vet was friendly and professional, the diagnosis and my options regarding treatment were explained in detail and other advice was really helpful. It is not a cheap option, no vetinary treatment is, but given this was a Saturday Evening and my cat was given medication both at the vets and to take away, I felt it was a very reasonable charge and certainly preferable to seeing my little buddy in pain for the rest of the weekend. Great service and 5 stars from me.

On Christmas morning 2024, it was evident that our little boys time to leave us had come. This out of hours vets were invaluable on that day. Although I didn’t get there in time for them to help Huckleberry, they helped me more than they’ll know. Their kindness will not be forgotten. I absolutely recommend this vets.

Update! Amazing team! Everyone has been so kind, caring & helpful! Thankyou So Much for all the expertise - advice - support - care We got to make extra 6 months of memories with our beloved Bennie! Bennie's 3 sons will also benefit from same level of care too! Good not only for regular checks but offers much needed specialist care! One of my Chihuahuas need to see a cardiologist & being disabled myself I needed to find one local to our home... luckily Mildmay had one available & kindly agreed to see him! I was a wreck & they were lovely - took care of everything! Got indepth information of what was going wrong & their plan to help sort my Chi out!

Every vet and nurse we've encountered has been exceptionally friendly, attentive, and caring toward my dog, Momo, putting both of us at ease with their gentle approach. I was not registered with Mildmay when my dog started having a heart attack aged 15years- my own vet in fairoak didn’t pick up their emergency number and then became engaged- I phoned Mildmay and they couldn’t have been more supportive- the nurse on the phone was so kind and reassuring and the care I received as they had to put him down was the best I have ever had- he is the 8th dog I have owned. Can’t praise this team enough and will register my next dog with them when I am ready to get one.

Excellent. Great value for money - 45 pounds for lunch for two adults and child, meal and drink each. Fresh food and nice portions. Good vegan options. Huge outdoor eating and play area. Very prompt and attentive service. good beer selection but sadly no craft beer on keg! Lots of parking.

What a lovely establishment! Absolutely fantastic food! The lamb rump was DELICIOUS and beautifully presented as was the beef with horseradish mash. ( My photos don't do the dishes justice!) Great atmosphere, roomy but cosy. The staff were very friendly and extremely professional. Highly recommend, would definitely go back.

4th time I've been here, twice for Sunday lunch, and recently on 2 Saturday evenings. We had the same server both Saturdays, Ollie, and they were fantastic, recognised us, made a huge fuss of my dog, brilliant service, I had pie and mash which was delicious but I asked if I could have just 1 chip as I couldn't decide between chips or mash, and the chef made a small stonehenge of chips in my mash lols, you wouldn't get such fun service in a chain pub. The food is really nice, all tastes fresh and the menu is varied. Sunday lunches are great too, but the Saturday night meals we have had have been excellent on all levels, and it's not too busy so you can sit and enjoy your meal in a lovely ambience. But the service is absolutely top notch. I almost don't want to leave a review in case we can't get a seat again lols, but the staff are what makes the place so good, including the chef adding the extra chips 😆
