I 100% recommend. Excellent service from Rob and his professional team. Honest advise given. Upfront costings. I've personally never had a fear of dentists, but for anyone who does, they will be made to feel comfortable and safe. I was sceptical about an extraction being pain free - but it was. Why can't all dentists be the same? Thank you. I'm looking forward to my hygienist appointment in a couple of weeks.

Looking forward to seeing a dentist isn't my usual feeling but going to Hampshire Dentist is a very different experience. Firstly the reception team are friendly and efficient putting everyone at ease. My treatment was painfree and I also learned a lot from Dr Rob as he skillfully went about restoring a bridge. His knowledge and state of the art equipment is very impressive. More visits will be needed and I can honestly say I look forward to seeing Dr Rob and his colleagues again.

I recently had gum surgery with Dr. Robin and the experience has been excellent from start to finish. The team was professional, welcoming and made me feel completely at ease. Any queries were answered promptly. Rob is highly skilled and took the time to explain everything ensuring I felt comfortable throughout the process. My second visit today. Such a fabulous find. Food is beautifully cooked, very tasty, very fresh and … very plentiful! Staff are relaxed but incredibly good. Kitchen team look calmly in control - always reassuring. The aesthetics of the venue are fabulous giving the whole place a smart up market but comfortable warm relaxed feel. We will definitely be back.

Lovely little place with great atmosphere all around. Went for late breakfast/lunch in July, the sun was shining, sat outside and it was just super relaxing. “Caeser salat” slightly different and super delicious. Sausage roll also very fresh and yummy. Coffee very tasty too. All in all, would definitely go back. Hopeing for dinner service to resume very soon again

Such a beautiful place, serving beautiful food, with beautiful goods to buy and the kindest of staff. I’ve been every month since it’s open, and am due to go back this weekend. Every time I have left not only incredibly full, but amazed with what Hugo can do in that kitchen! The shop is the perfect place to buy a treat for yourself, or buy a lovely gift for someone. I’d love to try their Friday night aperitif evenings!

Love this place! A proper hidden gem. Excellent, unfussy Italian food with great service at a reasonable price. The wood-fired pizzas are the main attraction but don’t overlook the starters and pasta dishes. There’s also a very dangerous gelato counter 👀 Recommended!

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was really clean and tidy. The food was amazing. The meat feast pizza was incredible and so was the brownie. There's a good selection of gelato flavours and the ones we tried were delicious.

We received wonderful service with a happy to help attitude, we felt so welcome and made to feel relaxed. The food was amazing! fresh, high quality ingredients. The dirty burger with pulled beef was delicious! The garlic bread was so moreish. And the ice cream was divine!. Everything we tasted was top class yet affordable. A no-nonsense, easy to follow menu. We definitely recommend. And if we're ever in the area again we will certainly come back to Lusso!

A lovely cosy country pub, with the best food! Brilliant service! Amazing staff! Beautiful dog! And they even have a Deli in the grounds too! Customer care is beyond comparison! Everything is cooked fresh, usually using home grown produce. My family wouldn’t go anywhere else, except on the rare days that they’re closed. Really cannot recommend highly enough!

Lovely pub and staff, come here all the time. Food is legendary, Simon is an awesome Chef! Dog friendly, child friendly and always welcoming. Proper local pub. Take out Pizza is to die for. Sunday roast is immense. Beer is always good.

Love Coffee Shop in Yattendon with love country feel décor in keeping with the area it's located in. Staff were friendly and very helpful with a very quick service on our visit. Cake choices were abundant and was hard to choose which one I would like as I would have had them all!!😋 Coffee choices were very good and didn't seem to cost the earth. I would definitely visit again if in Yattendon ☕🍰

Popped into this lovely little village cafe, midweek, with a long standing client of mine for a catch up - only cakes and coffee to eat but so good, that i took more cakes home for my wife. Sadly, when my wife and i returned the following week it was busy and there were no tables - which is a shame as there is no-where else in the area. Will hope to come again but this time book a table if possible.

What an incredible little café! The afternoon tea savouries, hot drinks, cakes and service were lovely. Everything surpassed my expectations about this place. Call up to book and put down your deposit to reserve your spot. It's at 1.30pm (every day?) and they'll need advance notice of at least a few days.

Valle D’Oro is a wonderful family run independent Italian Restaurant in Newbury town centre, it’s food and drink selection is very good, so many options for steaks, the service was fast and friendly and you could tell the staff really care about their customers and the venue itself is cosy and well decorated. I had the steak in peppercorn sauce, I think if I ordered again I’d go for rare instead of medium rare. The fillet steak itself was incredible, it’s in my top five all time steaks, and it one of my go to items on menus so I’ve had lots in the past. The peppercorn sauce was also excellent, very thick and incredibly peppery, creamy goodness. The portion sizes are massive, so be careful not to over order, the vegetable selection looked amazing but we had no room left to try it. This is a great local business, it’s been located in Newbury since the 1080’s and you can see why it’s been so successful and long lived, it’s just brilliant, most highly recommend

We discovered this local Italian gem a decade ago and it has not disappointed on each and every visit. The food is fresh and portions generous. You are warmly welcomed by Carmen and her husband Carlos delivers up delicious plates from the kitchen. If you are in a rush, let the staff know. Otherwise, dining is leisurely. Not to be missed!

Incredible dining experience at Valle D’oro Restaurant. The hostess was exceptional, taking care of our every request. And of course the main attraction, the food, did not disappoint. My wife said and I quote, “this is the best Salmon that I have ever tasted!” I had the Penne Arrabbiata pasta and it was wonderful. Just the right level of spiciness and heat for my palate. If you’re in the Newbury area and want some authentic Italian food, seek them out. You will not be disappointed. Saluti!

Only had food, but it was excellent, and great service (feedback card said Izzy but there was another lady also serving, both excellent 👍🏻) Yes, it's a bit more than most 'gastropubs' but the food is restaurant quality, decor, service and everything else to match. Had the stewed beef cheeks on mash with cavolo Nero and gravy, which was fantastic, my wife had pork belly which she loved. 12.5% voluntary service charge but happy to pay it. Will go back👍🏻

The rooms are amazing and at 400 years old you feel the history. High quality fixtures and fittings throughout along with complimentary bottles of whisky and gin and awesome smelling bathroom toiletries. Breakfast was spot on, we didn't eat at the restaurant for an evening meal. Limited menu and a bit pricey I thought.

Beautiful castle famous for being the filmset of Downton Abbey. I recommend to take a tour through the castle and also to explore the beautiful gardens around it by foot. The cedar trees surrounding the caste are amazing and also the herb garden is worth a visit.

If you’re a Downton Abbey fan (or just love a good stately home), Highclere Castle is an absolute must-visit! 🏰 We had the pleasure of doing a private tour, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the jaw-dropping grand rooms to the hidden corridors steeped in history, every inch of Highclere oozes elegance. No wonder Julian Fellowes had it in mind when creating Downton Abbey! 🎩✨ Even beyond its TV fame, Highclere has a rich history dating back to 1679, and let’s not forget its Egyptian connection—the 5th Earl of Carnarvon co-discovered Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922! 🏺🏡 Who knew a slice of Egypt was hiding in the English countryside? 📸 Unfortunately, no photos were allowed inside, but trust me, the interiors are as grand as they look on TV. Thankfully, the stunning exterior, sprawling gardens, and breathtaking views more than made up for it—and I snapped plenty of those! We were also incredibly lucky with the glorious sunshine ☀️—the warmest day of the year so far! The cherry on top? Afternoon tea in the gardens 🍰🫖, feeling like proper aristocrats (or at least pretending we were for an hour!). This visit was also particularly poignant as we remember the late, great Dame Maggie Smith, whose performance as the Dowager Countess defined Downton Abbey. No one could deliver a withering remark quite like her, and walking through the halls where she ruled the screen was truly special. It's so quiet, and you can really get lost in aww here. There are no pictures once u go in but if your a fan of the show you kinda feel like am I really here?.
