Just brought my dog, Lottie, to the surgery as she’d eaten a large homemade chocolate chip cookie. The staff were wonderful particularly Alison, the receptionist, who made me a cup of tea whilst I waited for Lottie to be treated. The vet was kind, reassuring and clearly loves her work. Lottie is tired but will be fine after she’s had a good sleep. I cannot recommend this veterinary practice highly enough, thank you! X

Kind and helpful team that care for your animals and you! Our two cats don’t travel well and I arrived flustered after both had accidents in their carriers on the drive to our appointment. The team were so kind and helped me carry the cats, even whisking them away to clean them up which I was so grateful for. Thank you!

My dog, Maisy, suffered from pyometra last year and had to go in out of hours for emergency surgery. The vet was amazing and very reassuring, providing us with updates along the way (I’m a very anxious dog mummy). As part of her treatment package we had a few check ups to make sure her scar was healing well, every vet and nurse we saw was so lovely and made sure Maisy was happy. When I was concerned about the healing process they invited us back for an interim check just to give me peace of mind. The best vets I’ve used!

We brought our cat in as an out of hours emergency. We are so grateful for the care that our cat received. Sadly our cat had to be put to sleep but they made this awful experience much easier for us and I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to Lorenzo and Jade. You do a wonderful job and it makes such a difference.

I have one dog and one cat registered with blue cross and my dog has to visit monthly, the reception staff know his character and temperament and are always aware of his quirkiness. He sees different students monthly for a lifelong condition, they discuss any new treatments with myself and the vet on duty would confirm the plan. Overall the care they give is exceptional and I always try to give a bit back.

I'm very happy with the service they provide, ALL staff are fantastic and helpful. I am so impressed by the reception staff..they are caring and listen to any concerns so five stars for customer service too. Thank you.

Great service .my dog had 2 teeth out and was looked after so well .she,s not been put off going back and pulls to the door to go back in to the vets !

I do think that, as with all veterinary practices, medications are overcharged. Other than that I found the service at Pride faultless. Flora is an absolutely wonderful asset to the team. She was so lovely and caring towards both myself and Walter, and was clearly so very invested in helping him and giving him the best possible chance of a happy life. She talked through everything with me in great detail, patiently answering all my questions, both during our consultation and following. I found the practice clean and inviting, despite it being a worrying time and Walter was returned to me on both occasions with a wagging tail and enthusiastic disposition. He was clearly happy and not at all stressed which is testament to how well looked after he had been. We received a detailed account of the findings of Walters tests by email very quickly after our appointment as well as the plan for him moving forward. Walter is already responding well to the changes in his treatment. The fact that the accounts team make the payment so easy by claiming directly from the insurance company takes all the stress out of the situation and allows us to focus on getting Walter the help he needs without a great deal of financial worry. I do feel that our recent experience with Pride has been wonderful overall and would not hesitate to return when needed in the future. The staff and vets were very professional, caring and supportive. They did every thing they could for my dog and kept me updated all the time. For this I am really grateful.

Every pet owner dreads something happening to their pets. Our two cats, Jasper and Mimi, have always been happy and healthy. Until in the early hours of the morning on 16/01/25, we found Jasper in a critical condition. Now diagnosed with unclassified cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure, Jasper is home and as healthy as he can be. This would not be possible without the amazing vets at Vets Now, Charlesworth Vets and Pride Referrals. Together, they saved Jasper’s life, and we will be forever grateful.

Every time we have visited the staff are all very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I trust each time that my pets are receiving the best care and they are in very safe hands.

On holiday and our dog got tummy issue so the vet fitted us in and sorted us out very quickly. Highly recommended.

We had to rush our elderly dog for an emergency and every step of the journey back to him being his old self was brilliantly supported by the team at Riverside. Helen who treated him was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate and did a great job at explaining the treatment path and putting our minds at ease.

Absolutely amazing vets. I'm away at my mums and my dog was unwell, we took her here and they were so caring and considerate. The vet was very caring, understanding, and very informative of what we had to do. They treated my dog as if she was their own, even carrying her body back to my car for me. I would highly, highly recommend these to everyone.

Back in July my Dog came down with an Illness where he lost all his abilities to walk, bark & eat .we have a Working Cocker spaniel so you can Imagine a dog that bounces on & off the walls to Nothing was quite worrying . After 2 days of going to our Normal Vets in Birmingham. With 2 different dignonises well Day 3 we got referred to Scarsdale vet's & Pride referrals . They were Amazing from the minute we stepped in the door & still ongoing they have all been Amazing from the Reception Staff all the way up to the vets & training vets. They have Saved our little boy. we Still have to bring him back every 3 weeks for his Chemo but if it was left to our own Vets he wouldn't be with us now .

Fortunately I have never needed the emergency vets service before this week. The administration staff were excellent as were the 3 vets I saw over the course of the day. Easy to find and has an ample car park. Large pet shop on site.

An appointment booked very quickly. An excellent vet, he listened to my concerns and we discussed the options. I didn’t feel as though I was trying to be sold any treatments just for the sake of it. I could highly recommend them.

On a sad day today we lost our precious and so much loved Rocco. I cannot thank Sarah enough for her professionalism and help in making such a very difficult decision to let him go . Excellent experience from registration to first appointment. Everything was explained and I was given excellent advice and reassurance. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and I thoroughly enjoyed what could have been a nervous 2nd vaccination appointment. Very glad i chose to register my new puppy at the Ashbourne practice.

Really friendly, reassuring staff and clean practice. Took my cat in and they had blankets you could borrow with feliway sprayed to help calm them down - really thoughtful

I took all three of our cats to be chipped on separate days. The vets I saw were very nice and gave me advice on better flea treatment for our furgirls

I rushed my cat, Benji, to the vets at Meteor Centre after seeing him pant and struggle to breathe. I can’t express enough how supportive and gentle the team was with him—they made sure he was seen immediately. Dawn, the vet, was absolutely amazing—so genuine in her care for Benji. I made it clear that while Benji means the world to me, I needed to be mindful of the cost and I asked that we only perform the tests and checks that were truly necessary to help him, Dawn and the reception were more than understanding and respectful of this. She took the time to thoroughly explain the x-ray results, what they strongly suspected was wrong and the options we had in depth. They even consulted a specialist at no extra cost and did everything possible to help Benji. After treatment, they monitored him closely to ensure Dawn was satisfied with his recovery before sending him home. Although we received a terminal diagnosis, Benji is now much more comfortable, and his medications will help keep him that way until he’s ready to cross the kitty rainbow. My heart is broken, but I can’t thank Dawn and the reception team enough for their care and compassion towards myself and Benji, as well as helping make my little boy comfortable until he is ready to leave us.

This was the first time we had seen vet Monica. My dog didn't want to go into the examination room, so as the waiting room was empty Monica examined him there, so not to cause him unnecessary stress. She was very friendly, answered our questions. A lovely person.

This is an excellent vets the staff are friendly and helpful and can't do enough to help you from the receptionist to the vets they all treat you and your pet with love, respect, care and dignity , I've had the most dealings with Peregrine Bowden that did an amazing job operating on my little princesses eye and later with Sarah Jones who is amazing at her job she is so lovely and nice and caring these people really don't get nowhere near the thanks and appreciation that they all deserve an excellent practice ❤️❤️😊😊 pic of my princess Rosie

I have a very nervous rescue and have recently attended this vets. The vet, staff and practice were all amazing! They took extra care and made it our best experience yet at a vets. Having a nervous cat and treating him so well, very informative and offer good plans too.
