By far the best Vets we have ever dealt with. All the staff we have met have been super professional and super friendly. Our rather nervous rescue dog has been looked after amazingly during our social visits and received her booster without a flinch. Cannot fault this Vets practice and highly recommend them!

Vets4Pets Heanor is a modern bright practice staffed by professional welcoming team. I have been taking my dog Chester here for 4 years and always felt his best needs are met.

I brought my cat in for an appointment this afternoon, and was greeted by Stacy and Sammy (sorry if I spelt names wrong!), friendly as always. I saw Anne for my appointment and it’s clear she takes patient care at a priority. Everything was explained to me in terms I understand, and took incredible care of Rue. It’s great to know I’m visiting a vets that care. I’m hoping they see this as I think it’s so important to get recognition in such a hard industry when they all work so hard to take care of all the vets that walk through the door. Would 100% recommend the practice! - Jess

We have been with them a few years and recently had cause for concern with 2 of our dogs both in the same week (unrelated problems) Daisy was poorly with a virus and looked after by Geoff. Dora by Will. Both Vets highly professional and very caring. Thank you Hartshorne Vets. 😊

Great staff caring and compassionate. Cared for our Yorkshire terrier and made her comfortable and happy for the last 3 years of her life…the knowledge and care is second to non! Geoff came to our home when it was time to let her go, it was an already awful day but made easier by the fact she wasn’t stressed and could fall asleep in in her own home surrounded by love. We are eternally grateful

I took archie my jack chi puppy to medi vet when he was 2 and a half month old for his 1st and 2nd vaccinations flea and worm tablets everything was explained bout the vaccinations I then took him back for problems with his anul glands again all explained so I understood the medication and again took him back for castration teeth extraction claws clipped it was so easy to book appointments reception team are exeptional Archie is now 1 and half year old and thriving being his cheeky self BIG THANKYOU TO ALL THE TEAM FOR TAKING GREAT CARE OF MY ARCHIE would definitely recommend any pet owners to go to Medivet 100% POSITIVE

Our dog had his teeth cleaned here recently. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional and helped ease our worries about the procedure as he had never been under anaesthetic before. They looked after him so well and I will happily trust them to care for him again. I highly recommend this practice to all pet owners in the area.

We chose St Leonard's Vets on Uttoxiter Road Derby (now MEDIVET ) for our new, 11yrs old rescue dog Connie ,as they looked after the health of our cat Bago (and in the Cattery) for a few years before she went to the great Cattery in the sky, at the great age of 19 and a half. They are brilliant and SOOO caring. Connie looks forward to her appointments and actually pulls us into the premises. Also, we know Connie (now a sprightly 13yr old) is treated with care and looked after really well at all her regular appointments. Thankyou Medivet

We go to Medivet for years now. But this time our doggy got really poorly, he was in pain and lost weight. He's 12, and I was so worried we might loose him. He had an op, everything was clearly explained to me prior and I was contacted throughout the process. It wasn't cheap, but I must express how grateful I am to everyone who saved him. He is back to himself and in good health now. Thanks to all staff for being kind, patient and understanding ❤️

A couple of weeks ago I sadly had to have my 14year old jack Russell, Shiloh, put to sleep. It was a very sad occasion, but all the staff at the Morley vetinary practice were very kind, & made sure Shiloh wasn't stressed & frightened. My 1st visit with Astrid (her 2nd). All the staff were really friendly,welcoming and helpful. Already booked in for our next visit. I think I was more nervous than Astrid. She was super chilled out. Thanks to everyone involved.

Excellent vets. My 15 year old dog having problems with her eyes, only option was to remove her eye, until I took her to this vets. They saved her eye with treatment , amazing care. Staff seem to love the animals, not the case at my old vets. Prices are much more reasonable too . I love the thank you cards posted everywhere, which goes to show how popular they are.

Came here in January after being referred by our own vets about my dogs glucose level wasn't coming down. First impression lovely and clean and friendly staff. We seen justine who was amazing she went through everything with us did plenty of tests scans etc which all came back clear. We have to give her updates and she has also kept in touch with us. Barney is now doing alot better We have got his diabetes and glucose level under control. Thank you.

Had an amazing experience with Justine recently when my dog was referred for an endoscopy. As young owners, River being our baby and first pet, we really needed answers to all of our questions. Justine gave that to us, she spent an hour before and an hour after all her testing to keep us at ease and explain everything in our terms which over the course of 2 months of Rivers bad health, we haven't ever experienced. Also shout out to the two lovely ladies on reception, no question was too much of an ask when it came to insurance claims etc. Wish I lived closer so these were my dogs go to vets. Our boy dave Bit of a novel but worth reading,if you have any doubts. We picked our little boy,Dave,up at 12wks. With great excitement,he was to be in our minds our last dog,especially at our time of life. We expect him to have a long happy and healthy life,after all he was a puppy. He presented with skin issues,so we embarked on weekly some times daily visits to our local vet. Whilst trying to treat his skin,he picked up so many other infections. Its was deemed he was not a healthy boy,and suggested maybe we should let him go. As he unfortunately became so scared of the vets,then his only defence was to become aggressive with them. We then asked to be referred to donnington dermatologist specialist. Our journey began. We did as Emily told us to the letter, We made massive progress with his skin. Emily helped to control his terrible itching and discomfort. And proceed with caution,as she had been warned from other vets,that he was aggressive. We were so grateful. But still we were not convinced that something was bubbling away in the background He declined quickly,and Emily feared too,that there was something not right. So referred us to internal medicine. Dave and ourselves were instantly put at ease with Justine and her team. But he was extremely poorly,before Christmas we almost,feared that this was it,we would have to say our goodbyes. Justine never lossed faith and everyone was extremely supportive. Then after all there patience, kindness and extream knowledge,the breakthrough came. We had a diagnosis and a treatment plan. our boy Dave,melt when ever he see Justine. The big so called aggressive puppy,just turns to mush. These people are truly extraordinary and I could write a novel,about the pain that we have all gone through. But it all comes down to our immeasurable gratification for saving our boy Dave's life. Thankyou so much everyone,including the fantastic receptionist who always take time to ask,if he is ok today.

Great first experience yesterday with my 3 amigos. Very thorough, professional, helpful and friendly. Big shout out to Mandy for persevering in obtaining my dogs clinical histories, which was like pulling teeth, thank you. Thank you also to Katie who was professional, thorough, helpful and informative ( It was nice to see a familiar face ). To the receptionist who assisted me in completing the Healthy Pet Club forms and booking further appointments, thank you. The hospital was clean and everyone was very welcoming. Ample parking. Couldn’t fault it. Very happy :)

I had a Zoom appointment with Dr. Ellie. I live in the U.S. and was thrilled to be able to meet with a guinea pig expert. She was thorough, efficient, caring, very knowledgeable, and invested. It was an extremely worthwhile visit! I also appreciated the extensive follow-up notes she provided and the time she took to compile them. I wouldn’t hesitate to schedule another appointment with her in the future when needed!

Thank goodness for Ellie! It’s amazing to have a vet who knows and loves guinea pigs so much. Coco has only just started her treatment but I’m feeling really at ease knowing she’s under Ellie’s care and expertise. The option of her video appointments for advice is also very helpful and reasonably priced.

So unbelievably grateful for both Ellie and the rest of the team at Derwent Valley Vets! They have been incredible in treating one of our guinea's who sadly had to have his eye removed after our previous vets showed little interest in adapting his care or changing his antibiotics despite little improvement in a month. When we came to Ellie, we were scared we were going to lose him; we knew we were close to the point of no return. Ellie and the team have absolutely given our boy his life back; even with one eye he is much more himself than we have seen him be in the last 2 months and we're so thankful. Even now, 2 weeks post surgery, we are in constant communication with the team, sending regular updates and receiving brilliant advice. I cannot praise this team enough! We travel 3 hours to see them, and will gladly do so for anything so important again because the standard of care is unbeatable. Oh, and they provided double the amount of treatment for half the price we were quoted elsewhere, so pricing is absolutely incredible value for the skills these guys have. Much love to everyone in the surgery, thanks for all you do!

Very kind and knowledgeable, did her best for my little piggy, but unfortunately, there was nothing more that could be done. Basically the only person in the UK who I'd trust to do conscious dental surgery on guinea pigs.

I do think that, as with all veterinary practices, medications are overcharged. Other than that I found the service at Pride faultless. Flora is an absolutely wonderful asset to the team. She was so lovely and caring towards both myself and Walter, and was clearly so very invested in helping him and giving him the best possible chance of a happy life. She talked through everything with me in great detail, patiently answering all my questions, both during our consultation and following. I found the practice clean and inviting, despite it being a worrying time and Walter was returned to me on both occasions with a wagging tail and enthusiastic disposition. He was clearly happy and not at all stressed which is testament to how well looked after he had been. We received a detailed account of the findings of Walters tests by email very quickly after our appointment as well as the plan for him moving forward. Walter is already responding well to the changes in his treatment. The fact that the accounts team make the payment so easy by claiming directly from the insurance company takes all the stress out of the situation and allows us to focus on getting Walter the help he needs without a great deal of financial worry. I do feel that our recent experience with Pride has been wonderful overall and would not hesitate to return when needed in the future. Out Bengal cat India was referred here by our v4p after being extremely poorly. Pride were great with her. And we finally got a diagnosis for her illness. It isn't cheap but I didn't expect it to be. Vet care isn't due to high costs they encounter to do the tests etc that is not en mass like human care. I have insurance and they said if there is any dispute over them paying it then they will helpnprove to insurance it was necessary. Very helpful and caring. Could not fault any of the staff I dealt with here from Emily an intern in Medical, Adriane and Vet nurse Molly in surgical...to the receptionist too. Keep up the good work for our furry friends!

Every pet owner dreads something happening to their pets. Our two cats, Jasper and Mimi, have always been happy and healthy. Until in the early hours of the morning on 16/01/25, we found Jasper in a critical condition. Now diagnosed with unclassified cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure, Jasper is home and as healthy as he can be. This would not be possible without the amazing vets at Vets Now, Charlesworth Vets and Pride Referrals. Together, they saved Jasper’s life, and we will be forever grateful.

I've been so delighted with the care and attention from this practice. One of my cats needed to lose weight and, following the annual booster appointment, I was able to get her weight checked and receive advice at two free 'weight loss clinic' appointments. After trying a few things we have succeeded with her weight loss and the vet was very kind and supportive at the appointments and in following up to check the nutritional values in her feeding plan. I was very impressed with this free service, which demonstrates real care for my cat's wellbeing.

I went with my 8-week-old puppy, on Friday and had the most positive experience. I was a little nervous about taking him out of the house for such a long time, but I needn't have worried. The receptionist was warm and friendly and could have not been more welcoming to us. There was also a nurse there too; she was also very friendly and welcoming. The vet was lovely and put me at ease- she was informative and explained everything carefully and clearly and answered all my niggling questions and completely reassured me. The service we received was exceptional!

Racquel, cat specialist extrodinaire saved my beautiful Charly who was critically poorly ... plus she had to deal with my tears. My boy is so much better thanks to Racquel.
