We recently had Dan do our fascias, soffits, and guttering, and we couldn't be happier with the result. I found Dan on Google after a few failed attempts at getting someone to come and redo the roof on my garage and replace my soffits and fascias. Dan was professional from the outset. He was prompt to come out and the quote he gave was extremely competitive. Although Dan was fully booked at the time, he kept in touch with me to let me know when he was available to come and do the work. Having had a number of companies either not turn up or quote extortionate prices, it was a relief to experience such a professional and reassuring approach. The work itself was completed in a timely fashion and to a high standard. This included the fitting of new PVC fascia, soffits, gutters, pipes and dry verge system on the house, plus new PVC fascias, gutters and installation of a Firestone rubber roof on the garage. All the old roofing and fascia waste was taken away and the area was left clean and tidy once the work had been completed. Dan and his dad were fantastic throughout the process and I could not recommend them highly enough!

We finally took the plunge to replace the Derbyshire stone roof on our cottage, the main part of it being built in 1853 so tired didn’t come close. Phil (MD) came out to advise on solutions and was very thorough in inspecting the existing roof timbers etc. fortunately they didn’t need to be replaced and we agreed that Spanish slate would be the way to go being lighter than the existing stone slates some of which could be sold. The quote was competitive and we got the ‘vibe’ that Dalton’s would be good to work with so we chose them to do the work. The existing stone tiles were carefully removed and the good ones stacked for us to sell. They cleaned up every day before leaving and kept us informed on plans for the next day or two throughout. 3 weeks later, we have a superb new roof to the main house (100m2) and new flashing to the kitchen extension which hadn’t been installed properly some years ago. A great hard working team with special mention to Levente and Luke and site manager Paul. All overseen by MD Phil who clearly knew how things were going on site. Going into the process was a bit unnerving with the numerous ‘cowboy’ roofers out there but we are pleased to say we got the right firm in Dalton’s, they looked after us from start to finish, highly recommended!

We recently had the garage roof replaced by Dalton Roofing. The original was an old corrugated one that contained asbestos (removed separately by another company). Harvey came round to give a quote and recommended we go with a flat roof and felt, with 2 clear domes to add some natural light. Ash and his crew did a top notch job, the roof looks mint. They turned up on time, got stuck in, and always made sure to clean up after themselves, especially once the job was complete. We are very happy with the whole process of first contact to the completion of the work, and I will not hesitate to recommend Dalton Roofing in the future, and we will definitely use them again.

Excellent customer service from Dalton Roofing, especially Ruby, who took my enquiry, and Phil, who came out. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with another company. I paid them £100 for a roof inspection, and they quoted me hundreds of pounds for repairs that they deemed necessary, to put the roof in good order. The quote was rather vague, and I felt that it was leading to them finding more problems, and therefore charging me much more, if I agreed to them completing the work. I contacted Dalton Roofing, and explained my problem. My insurance company were insisting on a report, and work done, if it was deemed necessary, or my insurance would be invalid. This had to be by a reputable company who are part of a confederation. Thankfully my neighbour suggested contacting Dalton Roofing, which I did. Ruby was helpful on the phone, and arranged for Phil to visit the house today. He was very helpful, professional, and friendly. His inspection resulted in me being told that the roof is in good order, with no faults or problems, and will last for many years. Phil has restored my faith in decent, honest, and reliable companies, who are keen to maintain an excellent reputation. I will use Dalton Roofing if I need any work carried out in the future, and will be happy to recommend them to family and friends. Thanks Phil, I can sleep a lot better tonight.

We have known Anthony for many years. He is honest, hard working and has made an excellent job of releading around our chimney on our 230 year old cottage. Not easy! We had already paid to have it fixed by a different company who left us with a worse leak than we had before! We are now watertight and very happy! He knows his business inside out! We would recommend Anthony without reservation.

We had Antony to do some fairly extensive repairs to our house and garage roofs during August 2024. The repairs consisted of completely re bedding all the ridge tiles and complete re pointing of all the gable ends including total replacement of all soffit boards. The workmanship and quality of materials were first class together with attention to detail. Antony was very thorough with clearing and removing rubbish every day and going above and beyond with additional work which wasn't charged for. He also keeps you well informed of progress and is also an extremely pleasant man. Antony loves a few mugs of hot, strong tea, but no biscuits though, without this affecting work output as he is very hard working. We would have no hesitation at all in recommending Mickleover Roofline for any roofing project large or small.

I was let down by 2 other 'roofing companies' who left my roof with a significant leak, before I found Ark Roofing. Simon's team quickly identified the problem and resolved it and also inspected the rest of the roof and made good some other issues. I am confident now that my roof is in good shape for the coming winters. I am very happy to recommend Simon's team who are very friendly, approachable and helpful.

I contacted Simon and he came round to give me a quote on a leaking flat roof. The quote price was as expected. Due to the weather his team could not do the repair on my flat roof straight away, but as soon as the weather improved and he could fit my repair in he sent his team round. 3 of them came and i could not fault them. They were all polite and kept me informed. The job was completed in a day but a a small area was missed. As soon as i spoke to Simon the day after when he came to take payment he understood and sorted the missed area straight away with no issues and before i had to pay. His team came round within half an hour and fixed the missed area. Brilliant. All rubbish was cleared from my drive as promised and the flat roof looks so good now. They replaced a couple of very tired valleys for me and did a thorough and tidy job, as well as a few other bits and pieces that needed sorting out. They turned up when he said they would for both the quote and the work, which was really important to me. Worried they wouldn't turn up due to Storm Dudley coming but they turned up early to complete the work before the storm got too bad and wasn't disappointed as it was great quality work by them.

We had Tommy and his team out today to replace some of our roof ridges and do some re bedding. An absolutely and perfectly executed job by these guys with an impeccable level of professionalism from start to finish. Having had bad experiences with roofers in the past, we were very wary of contracting " unknowns" for the very big job of a whole new roof for our bungalow.
