We moved to Derbyshire in the summer and contacted Safehands Construction for a quote to build a new extension to our house. Marcus responded quickly and provided us with a detailed quote for two new bedrooms and bathroom. The quote set out all works with a clear time frame. We were offered good advice at the planning stage by Marcus. We decided to use Marcus and his team. They carried out the work exactly as quoted and they kept us fully involved throughout the process. We asked Marcus to do some extra work, which was carried out efficiently and without fuss. The building team were excellent throughout. They used quality materials throughout the build and they explained each stage of the project. Marcus and his team spoke to us regularly and they ensured we were happy with progress of the build, design and construction. We enjoyed working with the team and more importantly we trusted their advice and opinions. The finished build is of excellent standard throughout. The team did a great job in matching stone work, Windows and final fixings. The quality of work has resulted in a top class finish to our house. We would recommend Marcus and his team without hesitation. When you employ a build team you want to feel they are knowledgable and honest. We would say that Marcus and his team knew the best ways of achieving our goals, whilst ensuring everything was within budget. We moved into our new build in the November of 2019, just as the build team promised. We would recommend Marcus as he will not compromise on the quality, keeps to deadlines and he is friendly and honest throughout.

Worried they wouldn't turn up due to Storm Dudley coming but they turned up early to complete the work before the storm got too bad and wasn't disappointed as it was great quality work by them.

I’d definitely recommend Tommy and Midlands Roof Repairs. They replaced a couple of very tired valleys for me and did a thorough and tidy job, as well as a few other bits and pieces that needed sorting out. They turned up when he said they would for both the quote and the work, which was really important to me. The job was done more quickly than had been planned, so Tommy knocked quite a bit off the final bill. Very happy with the final result. A professional, trustworthy and friendly roofer.

We had Tommy and his team out today to replace some of our roof ridges and do some re bedding. We had a really good team replacing our old dilapidated garage with a new Penta roofed Compton model, with metal roof lined so it didn't drip in cold weather. Work was carried out professinally and speedily. We are really pleased with the garage and its quality, also the price was exceptionally reasonable. Just to add that because the garage was on a raised plinth the garage has never had flooding issues, a problem for many in this area with steep down sloping driveways from the road level. Nick was great. I was worried, as I'd had bad experiences before him. Quality work on our whole house fibre glass flat roof. Such a relief. No more worry when it rains. Great service identified where the leak was coming from. Replaced the guttering to the back of the property and solved our shared guttering problem with our neighbours. Very tidy and very good. James came out to fix a leak from our roof of unknown origin. Arrived exactly when he said he would for the quote, and exactly when he said to do the work. Really nice guy, took a video to show the problem and how he fixed it. Cant recommend enough. Will be keeping his number for any future roofing needs.

We were provided with regular updates and pictures identifying what needed to be fixed and how they had fixed it. Andy uses high quality materials and pays meticulous attention to the task in hand. He keeps the site safe and tidy and is a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely recommend him to others.

Andrew undertook a complete reroof of our house including tiles, membrane, lead, and where necessary, remedial work to timbers. He also replaced our loft insulation and brought it up to standard. He is a perfectionist and would never cut corners but insures the job is done to his very high standards. He is an excellent communicator and kept us up-to-date with progress and any issues throughout the process. His team worked hard and he always left the site tidy at the end of each day. Andrew and his team have done several jobs at my home, including replacing our roof in 2021. The quality of workmanship is always excellent. It's no secret to his clients that Andrew is a perfectionist, and that shows in every job he does. But as well as first-class work, Andrew explains everything he does, and is keen to show the work as it progresses (you get a great view of your property from up on a scaffold!). As a customer, I am also reassured by the fact that whenever I've had any issues after the work has been completed (which is rare), Andrew responds immediately to contacts and invariably calls round to check in. The fact that I always go back to Andrew when more work is needed speaks volumes about how helpful and trustworthy he and his team are.

I would highly recommend Andy and his team following the work they have done on our re-roof. Due to the age and condition of our roof several unforeseen problems were encountered along the way, Andy always kept us well informed throughout and came up with solutions each time, at no point did we think the work wouldn't be finished to the highest standard. The attention to detail is second to none and you can tell that Andy and the team take great pride in their work.

Excellent customer service from Dalton Roofing, especially Ruby, who took my enquiry, and Phil, who came out. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with another company. I paid them £100 for a roof inspection, and they quoted me hundreds of pounds for repairs that they deemed necessary, to put the roof in good order. The quote was rather vague, and I felt that it was leading to them finding more problems, and therefore charging me much more, if I agreed to them completing the work. I contacted Dalton Roofing, and explained my problem. My insurance company were insisting on a report, and work done, if it was deemed necessary, or my insurance would be invalid. This had to be by a reputable company who are part of a confederation. Thankfully my neighbour suggested contacting Dalton Roofing, which I did. Ruby was helpful on the phone, and arranged for Phil to visit the house today. He was very helpful, professional, and friendly. His inspection resulted in me being told that the roof is in good order, with no faults or problems, and will last for many years. Phil has restored my faith in decent, honest, and reliable companies, who are keen to maintain an excellent reputation. I will use Dalton Roofing if I need any work carried out in the future, and will be happy to recommend them to family and friends. Thanks Phil, I can sleep a lot better tonight.

Very impressed with Dalton Roofing. We had a number of leaks on an old roof and two other companies had tried to fix them without success. We contacted Dalton who came out very quickly to assess the issues. Phil explained the problems and gave me options to consider. He sent me a detailed quote on the same day which I accepted and the work was completed exactly on schedule. During the job, I spoke to Jake who was doing the work. He was great; he answered all my questions, explained what he had done in detail and gave me real confidence that he had understood and fixed the problems. Communication from Ruby at their office was also great. Overall, Dalton have been excellent and I'd recommend them without reservation.

Heartily recommend Slater & Myles - we needed a full re-roof due to the age and condition of our 60s house and the whole experience was top rate. Quoted well from the off, with a full written quote rather than a spitball verbal figure, turned up on time and worked like troopers, finished when they said they would and did a fantastic job - it looks brilliant with some really elegant choices they made. The roof was in worse condition underneath than expected but they just cracked on, it needed two new beams but they just charged for material and not the extra labour. Very reasonable costs as well, which meant we elected to have the fascias etc redone at the same time within our budget. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Contacted Slater and Myles for a quote to repair a leaking roof. John gave me several options identifying the that issues he'd found and solutions at different price points, breaking down the work involved with each. More than one problem was found so we opted for a full re-roof and couldn't be happier with the completed work. The team worked hard through the snow, were always on time, we were kept updated on issues that they found and they were very professional throughout the work. I'd happily use Slater and Myles again for future projects.

The team have done an excellent job fixing our roof - they went above and beyond to repair the valley guttering / flashing on our roof - showing us drone footage throughout so we could see what they were doing. Left everywhere clean and tidy and scaffolding taken down quickly! Can't recommend enough. 5 stars from us!

Josh was the only roofer that got in touch to give me a quote for storm damage to my roof. As soon as I contacted him to say the job was his he arranged the scaffolders they was there very quickly. Josh then turned up the following morning to do the job, the work was completed that day. I would highly recommend Josh and I he will be my first call if I have anymore issues with my roof.

We contracted Josh and the team to replace our roof with Spanish slate. We were impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of the team and the speed and efficiency of the work. Absolutely recommend Josh and we haven't even had the work carried out as yet but we’re more than confident it will be spot on. Communication was outstanding, Josh turned up when he said he would and it was on a Sunday!!! Very polite and professional. He found the problem and is going to sort it.
