It was well worth the wait for Ferns Roofing to come and reroof our house. They have done an excellent job and we are very pleased with the outcome. Although previous builders work on the house had created many problems, Andy used his experience and skills to successfully resolve and rectify these mistakes. I would highly recommend Andy and his team following the work they have done on our re-roof. Due to the age and condition of our roof several unforeseen problems were encountered along the way, Andy always kept us well informed throughout and came up with solutions each time, at no point did we think the work wouldn't be finished to the highest standard. Andrew undertook a complete reroof of our house including tiles, membrane, lead, and where necessary, remedial work to timbers. He also replaced our loft insulation and brought it up to standard. He is a perfectionist and would never cut corners but insures the job is done to his very high standards. He is an excellent communicator and kept us up-to-date with progress and any issues throughout the process. His team worked hard and he always left the site tidy at the end of each day. We would highly recommend him.

Josh completed a complete reroof of our grade 2 listed property. All done with welsh slate and new leadwork. A joy to see a real craftsman at work. We are extremely pleased with the job and would highly recommend Josh and his team.

Josh was the only roofer that got in touch to give me a quote for storm damage to my roof. As soon as I contacted him to say the job was his he arranged the scaffolders they was there very quickly. Josh then turned up the following morning to do the job, the work was completed that day. I would highly recommend Josh and I he will be my first call if I have anymore issues with my roof.

Excellent customer service from Dalton Roofing, especially Ruby, who took my enquiry, and Phil, who came out. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with another company. I paid them £100 for a roof inspection, and they quoted me hundreds of pounds for repairs that they deemed necessary, to put the roof in good order. The quote was rather vague, and I felt that it was leading to them finding more problems, and therefore charging me much more, if I agreed to them completing the work. I contacted Dalton Roofing, and explained my problem. My insurance company were insisting on a report, and work done, if it was deemed necessary, or my insurance would be invalid. This had to be by a reputable company who are part of a confederation. Thankfully my neighbour suggested contacting Dalton Roofing, which I did. Ruby was helpful on the phone, and arranged for Phil to visit the house today. He was very helpful, professional, and friendly. His inspection resulted in me being told that the roof is in good order, with no faults or problems, and will last for many years. Phil has restored my faith in decent, honest, and reliable companies, who are keen to maintain an excellent reputation. I will use Dalton Roofing if I need any work carried out in the future, and will be happy to recommend them to family and friends. Thanks Phil, I can sleep a lot better tonight.

We moved to Derbyshire in the summer and contacted Safehands Construction for a quote to build a new extension to our house. Marcus responded quickly and provided us with a detailed quote for two new bedrooms and bathroom. The quote set out all works with a clear time frame. We were offered good advice at the planning stage by Marcus. We decided to use Marcus and his team. They carried out the work exactly as quoted and they kept us fully involved throughout the process. We asked Marcus to do some extra work, which was carried out efficiently and without fuss. The building team were excellent throughout. They used quality materials throughout the build and they explained each stage of the project. Marcus and his team spoke to us regularly and they ensured we were happy with progress of the build, design and construction. We enjoyed working with the team and more importantly we trusted their advice and opinions. The finished build is of excellent standard throughout. The team did a great job in matching stone work, Windows and final fixings. The quality of work has resulted in a top class finish to our house. We would recommend Marcus and his team without hesitation. When you employ a build team you want to feel they are knowledgable and honest. We would say that Marcus and his team knew the best ways of achieving our goals, whilst ensuring everything was within budget. We moved into our new build in the November of 2019, just as the build team promised. We would recommend Marcus as he will not compromise on the quality, keeps to deadlines and he is friendly and honest throughout.

Worried they wouldn't turn up due to Storm Dudley coming but they turned up early to complete the work before the storm got too bad and wasn't disappointed as it was great quality work by them.

We had Tommy and his team out today to replace some of our roof ridges and do some re bedding. An absolutely and perfectly executed job by these guys with an impeccable level of professionalism from start to finish. The price was very reasonable, what I was quoted was what I paid, absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone needing roofing maintenance.

I just wanted to pass on my thanks to Luke and Jordon as both of them have been amazing. Luke responded to a call to try to make right what a previous workperson had made an awful mess of with respect to my ridge tiles on my detached dormer bungalow. After a week the mortar started to fall off, and by June everything had fallen off. Worry set in as to the winter coming . Luke fully understood the implications of the problem I’d been left with. So, he came round with Jordon a month ago- they worked early morning to early evening , supplied with sausage rolls and a baguette each and on demand tea. Luke was incredibly knowledgeable about the roof and what was needed. He used a new substance and the reviews are very good. Their workmanship, attention to safety and care and thoughtfulness was brilliant. He even went over and above putting some slipped tiles back into place. What a treat it was to have professionals like them around. And how nice were they with my collie pup? Very. When finished they cleaned up and it was as if they had never been here. Spotless! All I can say is that I would highly recommend the company to anyone. They are top class, take pride in their work, reliable and honest. Good price too. Really pleased with our new roof! Luke advised on choosing materials at the start and then dealt with the awkward access, including carrying heavy timbers up a steep hill when the lorry couldn't get close. Despite challenging weather conditions the works ran to schedule, including completing some extra items that cropped up. The team at Webster's clearly took pride in their work and delivered an amazing result. Would definitely use again.

Luke has just finished replacing my whole roof and it looks amazing. I was given a full quote, which was itemised. I was informed about everything that was happening and when. In addition they cleaned up any debris left from the work and leave as though they haven't been. I initially contacted Slater and Myles roofing LTD to provide me with a quote for a full roof replacement on my Victorian terraced home. Their communication was absolutely excellent from day one, and they arrived very quickly to provide us with a very well priced quote, alongside their comments on the condition of the roof and what they'd suggest. We decided to proceed with Slater and Myles and I'm extremely grateful that we did! The team were all extremely well presented, organised and always on time, their conduct throughout out of the whole process was immaculate. There wasn't the usual swearing or lingering smell of cigarettes etc. Every single worker was polite and extremely helpful and grateful for the drinks etc. Every single day they were on time, there wasn't any surprising extra costs being forced upon us etc.They always made sure that the site was cleaned up and safe after the day, this was particularly important within our shared yard with our neighbours who have a young baby, plus we habe a dog ourselves. John and Terry were the 2 in particular who carried out the works and the end product is to a very high standard. They both take extreme pride in their work, this was reflected by them even cleaning the gutters out after the work was finished! They were that good that even my neighbours have all commented on how friendly, respectful and professional they were throughout of the whole process, alongside commenting on the high standard of work that they have performed. If you want a rushed, poor job then these guys aren't for you, but if you want top quality craftsmanship for an extremely good price then you'll certainly find that with these guys. Heartily recommend Slater & Myles - we needed a full re-roof due to the age and condition of our 60s house and the whole experience was top rate. Quoted well from the off, with a full written quote rather than a spitball verbal figure, turned up on time and worked like troopers, finished when they said they would and did a fantastic job - it looks brilliant with some really elegant choices they made. The roof was in worse condition underneath than expected but they just cracked on, it needed two new beams but they just charged for material and not the extra labour. Very reasonable costs as well, which meant we elected to have the fascias etc redone at the same time within our budget. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Contacted Slater and Myles for a quote to repair a leaking roof. John gave me several options identifying the that issues he'd found and solutions at different price points, breaking down the work involved with each. More than one problem was found so we opted for a full re-roof and couldn't be happier with the completed work. The team worked hard through the snow, were always on time, we were kept updated on issues that they found and they were very professional throughout the work. I'd happily use Slater and Myles again for future projects.

We had a really good team replacing our old dilapidated garage with a new Penta roofed Compton model, with metal roof lined so it didn't drip in cold weather. Work was carried out professinally and speedily. We are really pleased with the garage and its quality, also the price was exceptionally reasonable. Just to add that because the garage was on a raised plinth the garage has never had flooding issues, a problem for many in this area with steep down sloping driveways from the road level.
