Winter no problem. It was autumn when I began the search for a roofing company to replace my 1950's delapidated, leaky, broken ridge roof, with rotten felt and crumbling chimney. After other companies no shows, unreturned calls and ignored emails I found PRS. Premier Roofing Solutions were on the ball, Tom came and surveyed. No hard sell, he gave lots of options to consider and think over. A realisitc estimate arrived in a few days. I had thought about solar power, having a new roof seemed a good time to add one. Integrated panels, although a little more, resolved the bird and wind issues and saved on tiles! PRS had a busy schedule, but were able to fit us in back end of November 2024. Storm Daargh didnt help, but our roof was always left protected, the freezing cold didn't deter the team and it was pretty much safely completed on time. All paperwork/ inspections / certificates and applications, scalfolding/ skips, all sorted by them. They stripped the roof bare, brand new felt, new tiles, chimney sorted, integrated solar panels fitted, inverter, battery and car charger installed. All mess cleaned and left tidy. The cost? it was reasonable, I reckon my bungalow is now worth more, (probably about the equivalent of what I paid). In addition, I switched my petrol car for an EV, hopefully, I will never have to go to a petrol station again. The solar panels provide electric and the excess charges my car/ feeds into the grid for a small but wecome payment. I can recommend PRS, a small company, but focused with a committed boss (Jon) and a "can do" approach team.

We had Premier Roofing to replace the flashing and repoint our chimney, the scaffolding people had to erect the scaffold befor they could start. The work went well a good team, the guys arrived on time did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Definitely recommend them, thanks guys.

Absolutely recommend Josh and we haven't even had the work carried out as yet but we’re more than confident it will be spot on. Communication was outstanding, Josh turned up when he said he would and it was on a Sunday!!! Very polite and professional. He found the problem and is going to sort it. I will only be recommending JGR roofing from now on to my friends, family & clients as so many tradesman can't even answer the phone let alone turn up when promised. We contracted Josh and the team to replace our roof with Spanish slate. We were impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of the team and the speed and efficiency of the work. Josh was the only roofer that got in touch to give me a quote for storm damage to my roof. As soon as I contacted him to say the job was his he arranged the scaffolders they was there very quickly. Josh then turned up the following morning to do the job, the work was completed that day. I would highly recommend Josh and I he will be my first call if I have anymore issues with my roof.

Simon was recommended by my sister and husband. I had a problem with the ridge tiles, he came along quoted me a price and a week later the ridge tiles were replaced by an excellent team, also solved a further issue for me. I would definitely use Ark Roofers again.

Simon and his team were great throughout. Replaced our roor which was was in sore need of attention. Really pleased with the results and they dealt with a few snags very quickly. Excellent tradesmen - would recommend.

I contacted Simon and he came round to give me a quote on a leaking flat roof. The quote price was as expected. Due to the weather his team could not do the repair on my flat roof straight away, but as soon as the weather improved and he could fit my repair in he sent his team round. 3 of them came and i could not fault them. They were all polite and kept me informed. The job was completed in a day but a a small area was missed. As soon as i spoke to Simon the day after when he came to take payment he understood and sorted the missed area straight away with no issues and before i had to pay. His team came round within half an hour and fixed the missed area. Brilliant. All rubbish was cleared from my drive as promised and the flat roof looks so good now. We had our original slate roof completely redone after it took some major damage in the recent winter storms. Liam had some of the team out within a day to get us watertight until the works could be started. The team working on the house were very friendly and professional seeing the job done to a high standard ensuring we were happy with the results. Very reasonably priced for a great job, would thoroughly recommended them.

Couldn’t recommend Lords Roofing & Sons enough. We had complications along the way as structural engineering drawings were missing calculations for beams needed. Thanks to Liam and his lads for spotting this, as this would have been a very costly mistake. We are very happy with how the extension hipped roof looks. Liam and his lads have given us loads of tips and advice as this is going to be a self build / renovation project.

Working with Liam and the Lords team was so easy and pleasant, I wish I'd have gone straight to them in the first place rather than getting booked in, delayed and generally run around by other roofers! Liam was easy to communicate with, super responsive and up front about the work, costs and timings. Everything was scheduled in and communicated well by Laura. Any questions I had, they were quick to answer. When it came to the actual work, the team of roofers were fast, respectful and friendly. Led by Alex who was the nicest guy, funny and hard working, the team would arrive around 8ish and made sure they cleaned up at the end of every day to the point where it was actually cleaner than when they arrived! The got on so well with the neighbours, even entertaining the toddler next door who watched them from the window! The work was all completed faster than expected (mostly due to them bringing in extra guys who all worked well together) and to a good standard, the house and garage roofs now look perfect. Both Alex and Liam assured me that they guarantee their work and if there are any issues in the future they wouldn't hesitate to come round and sort anything out. Overall I couldn't have hoped for a better experience from Lords, thank you!

James came out to fix a leak from our roof of unknown origin. Arrived exactly when he said he would for the quote, and exactly when he said to do the work. Really nice guy, took a video to show the problem and how he fixed it. Cant recommend enough. Will be keeping his number for any future roofing needs.

Very happy with my roof repairs from B&S. Very quick communication, lovely service. Steve replied to my initial query and email queries very quickly and helpfully, the quote got done quickly, and the roofers who did the work were very friendly and lovely. Even though, once they got up there, they ended up finding more tiles needed replacing than first thought, they had brought spares anyway, and I was still only charged as per the initial quote. Really pleased that a good few years’ worth of storm damage is now fixed. I would definitely use B&S again, and recommend to others.

Excellent Service from this company. Had a hail damage to our roof and they came in less than 2 hours to fix it. Also got them to replace our whole roof later and their workmanship was excellent. They where their as promised and finished all work on time. Highly recommend this business.

Excellent service from Steve and the team, following our discovery of a leak around the chimney. As demonstrated by the photos, there was significantly damage to the chimney brickwork and the valley was filled in with a mixture of rubble and moss, giving significant drainage issues. Steve was able to quickly visit the property, assess the issue and quote for us. He recommended that we have the entire chimney removed and have the valley adjusted to allow for proper drainage. His team were able to visit and quickly sort the problem, with clear updates as to their work and rationale given. For anyone considering employing B&S Roofing, I can only recommend them.

M&A carried out a flat roof replacement, installed a dry ridge system to the main roof, repointed the chimney and other brickwork. Very impressed with Dalton Roofing. We had a number of leaks on an old roof and two other companies had tried to fix them without success. We contacted Dalton who came out very quickly to assess the issues. Phil explained the problems and gave me options to consider. He sent me a detailed quote on the same day which I accepted and the work was completed exactly on schedule. During the job, I spoke to Jake who was doing the work. He was great; he answered all my questions, explained what he had done in detail and gave me real confidence that he had understood and fixed the problems. Communication from Ruby at their office was also great. Overall, Dalton have been excellent and I'd recommend them without reservation.

Excellent customer service from Dalton Roofing, especially Ruby, who took my enquiry, and Phil, who came out. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with another company. I paid them £100 for a roof inspection, and they quoted me hundreds of pounds for repairs that they deemed necessary, to put the roof in good order. The quote was rather vague, and I felt that it was leading to them finding more problems, and therefore charging me much more, if I agreed to them completing the work. I contacted Dalton Roofing, and explained my problem. My insurance company were insisting on a report, and work done, if it was deemed necessary, or my insurance would be invalid. This had to be by a reputable company who are part of a confederation. Thankfully my neighbour suggested contacting Dalton Roofing, which I did. Ruby was helpful on the phone, and arranged for Phil to visit the house today. He was very helpful, professional, and friendly. His inspection resulted in me being told that the roof is in good order, with no faults or problems, and will last for many years. Phil has restored my faith in decent, honest, and reliable companies, who are keen to maintain an excellent reputation. I will use Dalton Roofing if I need any work carried out in the future, and will be happy to recommend them to family and friends. Thanks Phil, I can sleep a lot better tonight.
