Having decided we would like the help of a tutor for our daughter for her GCSEs we were a little lost, but thankfully found Tahir! He is a lovely, calm and patient tutor who on a 1 to 1 basis was excellent our daughter. Without him she would have never gone from a grade 3 to a grade 6, we would highly recommend him to anybody in need of a maths or science tutor! Mr and Mrs Stone

I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. All-over, I'm so happy with the tuition provider.

We are new to the UK. My daughter never learned English. After she joined Kumon she start to say words and now it's been 6month, now she is talking to people with confidence(still need to improve). Even her teacher at her school said she improved so fast. Thanks to Kumon in Guildford, we had very nice experiences with it and all staff are very nice and teacher are so patient. Once again let my daughter go to kumon is very good choice I made.

My two children have had Kumon maths lessons from the age of 7 and 4 respectively. They are now 15 and 12. Kumon has been a massive part of their success. Not only are they considerably advanced for their age at maths, the confidence it has given them has boosted their performance across all subjects. All three of my children have taken maths, at Kumon in Guildford. We started for various reasons and have ended at different times. My last child has now been doing it for three years now and is two years ahead of where she should be. This was evident in home schooling in lockdown when we were completing year eight maths and she is in year six. Kumon has continued through lockdown with zoom lessons. I could book an individual lesson if stuck and could contact through Whats app and text. Work was easy to exchange with little notes of encouragement. My daughter is determined to finish the program. Ultimately she says she wants to take maths and further maths at A level. Even if this isn't your aim, Kumon will give you a great understanding of maths. Times tables will be known instantly which will help in all aspects of life. The Guildford group is welcoming and when we are allowed to meet again, easy to find. Nicky Gale.

Enrolling your child in Kumon is an excellent way to create discipline and interest in reading and maths. My child was in a different Kumon center prior to us moving to this location, and we have to say its been a fantastic experience here. Duhita and her team cater the work not only to a childs academic growth but also take into account personal and social development. I highly recommend enrolling your children in this particular location.

I cannot recommend Shine Tutors highly enough. My son started attending sessions with Lynnette in year 4, which ultimately helped him receive offers from both Tiffin School and Kingston Grammar School. The tuition and guidance received from Lynnette was invaluable to achieving this. Her sessions both supported and stretched my son academically but also gave him the knowledge and confidence needed for the entrance exams. Lynnette also provides lots of information to parents to help guide them through the school entrance exams process.

I highly recommend taking private lessons with Shine Tutors. L. is an amazing tutor and very professional. She helped my child to reach another level indeed and prepared him so well. He enjoyed her class so much. Shine tutors accurately identified my child's strengths and weaknesses so they could work on them effectively. The methods used are perfectly aligned with the tests, and the follow-up and correction of exercises are consistent. Thanks to the weekly follow up with a lot of good learning homeworks material our child succeeded in all his 11+ exams. It's hard work and effort at first but it all pays off. He got offered a place at Tiffin in the first round as well as other independent schools such as Hampton Boys including Upper Latymer scholarships. We are so grateful for the outstanding work L. has done to stretch our child and accompany him with consistent diligent work to succeed in his exams. My son has been using Champions Tuition since the summer months. Champion Tuition was recommended to us by other parents in his primary school as a very professional and outstanding tutoring service. Within days from joining Champions Tuition my son became very responsible about his homework and his goals (passing his exams to secondary school). Anpu the founder of Champions Tuition has outstanding pedagogical and pastoral skills. The children respond to him very well and he certainly knows how to motivate them. The same can be said about the whole team of tutors at Champions Tuition. Champions Tuition also offers online classes which is very convenient if you are not local or unable to take your child to the class on a certain day. The curriculum covered during tuition is tailor made for the children's level and prepares them thoroughly for specific exams, e.g. in our case 11+ and private schools entry exams. The choice of teaching resources is second to none. The children practice using previous years' exams papers from the best grammar schools in England. The tutors also recommend extra books and learning resources. They take a lot of care in ensuring that the child makes a steady progress. Each homework is marked and discussed with the child. The children need to present corrections of their work to the tutor, which helps them consolidate their knowledge. A detailed feedback is given to the parents after each lesson. After visiting several 11+ tutors in the area, we came across Champions Tuition. After a short introduction which included their business aims and their teaching methods, we decided to go with them. Best decision ever. With their coaching and teaching methods, my son's confidence grew and he was able to sit his 11+ with confidence in his abilities. Whilst he missed out on a Grammer place by less than 12 marks, he is in a mainstream school, in the top set and is working at a level set for year 10/11 students despite being in year 7. Great tuition with amazing tutor. 'Sir is an fantastic tutor with fantastic skills. He also makes it fun and tries his best, so we can all understand it. Champion's Tuition is good. Mr. Anpu is a fantastic tutor who is working hard with the kids. My son had done well in 11+ exams confidently. Since attending Elite Tutors for maths tuition, our daughter has grown in confidence. Being able to go over topics she has been struggling with at school has helped greatly. I want to leave a review about the centre manager Siôn as he is very helpful and kind. He has helped me with my daughter's 11+ application and I couldn't be more thankful. Haleema, the 11+ the tutor is fantastic and has prepared my daughter very well. The assistant manager, Kim, is also very helpful. You should bring your children to this centre.

I can not express enough how wonderful this tutoring centre has been for my child. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that they genuinely cared about meeting each child's individual needs. The tailored approach to learning has made such a difference, with the tutors providing exceptional support in areas where my child needed it most. I can’t recommend Explore Learning more highly. My experience so far is of a place that builds confidence, offers tailored support in small groups, is flexible, understanding and nurturing. With regular progress meetings, and parent portals you can keep track of any areas which need more help, as well as access additional learning for home.
