My daughter has been coming to Kip McGrath (Lincoln South) since October to assist with her maths for year 6 SATS. 5☆☆☆☆☆ KIP REVIEW ONE VERY HAPPY PARENT! My Daughter started at KIP just after having taken her mock exams in year 11 (I wanted her to start sooner as I could see she was struggling but teenagers know best right) and after getting a grade 3 and not understanding what she was trying to revise she came to me and asked for help!!! Brilliant finally a breakthrough!! I contacted a few different tuition companies and spoke to them regards hows best to go about it nothing felt right online didn't sit right!!! Then I saw KIP advertised I rang and spoke to Dawn. Dawn was very understanding and extremely helpful then got us booked in straight away. My daughter went for a free trial to see where abouts she was graded and if she herself felt comfortable in that environment and with them. I felt this was the correct way to do it for my daughter as if we hadn't liked it we could of just walked away no strings. Thankfully my daughter felt like this was where she needed to be however nervous. Dawn could see how anxious she was and took her through straight away chatting with her. I'm so pleased Dawn and Lee are the people they are with great experience. KIP also confirmed she was sitting in the middle of grade 3 to get a strong grade 4, which my daughter wanted. It'd take some dedication of hard work, but it was possible. KIP advised to get the results we wanted that double sessions would get the best results they didn't pressure us into anything it was completely my decision as its what you can afford I suppose. Every session is tailor made for your child. If you want an update how tour child is getting on regards grade aspect contact Dawn and she'll get right back too you. It's as easy as that. Weekly direct debit payments which works for some people and probably because of the system. I however would of preferred to pay monthly or upfront, could this possibly be an option in future Dawn , Lee?! We decided to do double sessions twice a week and with the support from Lee, Dawn and the Tutor my daughter studied in these hourly sessions and after her fourth session she finally said to me "Thank-you Mummy for spending this money on me I'm finally starting to understand what to do with these equations now". Each week, homework was set however my daughter often didn't have much time to complete all of it due to the workload from course work and other subjects at school but it was set for those that wanted to go that extra mile. Lee and Dawn are always on the other end of the phone if you have any issues or problems and any holiday days we're rolled over to another day which was available too us so she never missed out on any precious hours. Now she's finished her GCSES and PASSED she did the foundation paper and got a WHOPPING GRADE 5. My Daughter who came to KIP with a middle 3 and ended up with the highest grade you can on a foundation paper is EXCEPTIONAL!!! My Daughter herself did do the work and I will not take that her away from her but you have to get the knowledge from somewhere and she says herself she couldn't of done it without the extra tuition and she is so grateful that I spent money on her education as all her friends in her maths class all FAILED their maths exam and are having to resit. So if any of your children are struggling in any of their core subjects I highly recommend you use DAWN AND LEE @ KIP.

We received an excellent service from Tutor Doctor York. They sourced outstanding tutors for us over an 18 month period, and were always helpful and quick to respond to any queries. Highly recommended.

Had a good experience with Isaac our personal tutor for son's GCSE maths retake. Son failed his maths but was able to resit again in Jan 2025. Isaac was brilliant, had private tutor for 1 hr pw. My son passed his maths with flying colours, well worth the money, could highly recommend Tutor Doctor.

May Daughter has improved a lot since she started doing lessons with tutor doctor. She was struggling in both English and Maths but now she can read and write fluently every Fridays when they do test at School she always come home happy saying daddy l got everything thing right , and she has now 5 awards certificates that she gets from her teacher at school. Before she meets tutor doctor when they write a test she was getting 0/25 . I appreciate the tutor she got, she knows what she is doing, well done Tracy 👏.

I can highly recommend Tutor Doctor. The team have been working with my son who has SEN, to provide him with some education this past term, as he has not been able to attend school. His tutors have been understanding, and attuned to his needs. Not only have they been excellent in providing good quality tuition, they have done so with care, encouragement and compassion. His understanding in all subject areas has significantly improved. The tutors are reliable and friendly and will approach the sessions with flexibility, care and expertise.

My 8 year old daughter has been attending weekly Kip sessions for maths over the past two months and has made really good progress. I would thoroughly recommend Suzy. We used her for 11+ tuition and she instilled confidence in our daughter who ultimately passed. Suzy is calm, friendly and approachable and our daughter enjoyed going to tuition. We will definitely use Suzy in the future if we require a tutor for our daughter again or any of our other children.

My daughter was a pupil of Suzy’s for 7 months before she sat her GCSE Maths exam. It was 1:1 and independent learning where she felt a good structure to learning was made. Would highly recommend!!! My daughter struggles with maths and does not enjoy the subject. Because of this she is now recieving maths GCSE tutoring from Josh. She is finding it fun and very helpful and the way josh engages with her and the others on the session is very impressive. Josh has been working with my son on his A level Computer Science. He is a fantastic tutor and has developed a good rapport with my son who thinks he’s really great - in my experience if a student respects their tutor they will be more willing to engage and that’s certainly what’s happened with Josh! He knows the subject well and importantly knows how to teach- he’s encouraging, thorough and supportive and we feel lucky to have found him. Highly recommended!

David has been tutoring my daughter for the last year or so .He has a fantastic ability to relate to children and makes the tutoring fun whilst providing a level of challenge based on the child’s ability.I have seen a huge improvement and progress in my daughter’s learning but also in her confidence- David’s passion for Physics and Maths is infectious. Although my daughter wasn’t necessarily struggling or behind in her learning, considering how little time teachers have to spend with individual pupils I was concerned that she may not fulfil her potential and at some point may struggle or be disengaged .They only have one education, and I want to give my daughter the best support that I can. I couldn’t have found better than David to do this. Don’t hesitate, it is a worthwhile investment in your child’s future !

David and his team have been amazing. My daughter had been told she was working to a 4 in maths and was predicted a 7, we were very confused. With the support of David, she was delighted to get a 6. It has been really useful. Even though we chose to have biology and chemistry tutoring then we have been able to have different subjects prior to exams. My only comment is that it would be better if the tutors were in different classrooms as I would find it difficult to concentrate with so many children being taught different subjects in the same room . I’m not sure about the idea of extra homework for them. If it iis going to be set then it shouldn’t take too long for them to complete

so far I've being doing this for a week and its been amazing. Even though its a foundation I've been doing so far its been helpful to reconsolidate everything I've learnt. Vasant is an amazing teacher. even though I've been here for a week he really knows how to teach and how to make you understand in visual of verbal way! honestly would recommend and would continue!!

My boys have enjoyed attending Kip for a number of years. Unlike school they never moan about attending and love the points and rewards for achieving goals. Their increased confidence and eagerness to learn is noticeable in their work and personalities. I certainly enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that their educational milestones are being professionally monitored, and also achieved. Which is something that was/is lacking from school. All for the price of a weekly take away! Kip is most definitely an investment in their future and all at Kip are a constant support network throughout the school years, particularly tough times such as identifying and dealing with an individuals difficulties, and standard testing such as SATS, and no doubt GCSE’s too.

Started our 15 year old whilst in his final year for his GCSE’s and his development has been great in just 9 sessions he’s developed so much with almost one to one tuition. There’s part of his studies that he says now make so much more sense and reduces the stress and got him into better studying habits.
