Ros is very approachable and able to access each student individually to ensure that they receive the support they need without it becoming overwhelming. My son started Kumon when he was just four years old. Since then, there has been a huge improvement in English and in maths. In school he is reading higher levels of phonics. Ros Collins is fantastic. She has always been very helpful and she even visited us to do the lessons as we were unable to go to the centre. Thank you Ros and would highly recommend to anyone.

Kip McGrath helped me with maths, English and science taking me from low achieving student to a high one. When I got diagnosed with dyslexia I was a university student studying medicine. I attended a cellfield course at Kip McGrath and this improved my reading skills immensely. I am now working as a Doctor and I couldn’t have done it without the team at Kip McGrath! I still keep in touch with Claire now, I’m very grateful for all of their incredible help through out the years!

My son is in year 1 and we thought we would send him here to get ahead for his looming phonics tests in 2025. He’s absolutely loving it and Tasha is brilliant with him. The 1 hour lessons are fun and challenging at the same time. They cover reading, writing & learn basic computer knowledge which is an added bonus!!! Couldn’t ask for more to be honest. Thanks guys 😊

My boys have enjoyed attending Kip for a number of years. Unlike school they never moan about attending and love the points and rewards for achieving goals. Their increased confidence and eagerness to learn is noticeable in their work and personalities. I certainly enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that their educational milestones are being professionally monitored, and also achieved. Which is something that was/is lacking from school. All for the price of a weekly take away! Kip is most definitely an investment in their future and all at Kip are a constant support network throughout the school years, particularly tough times such as identifying and dealing with an individuals difficulties, and standard testing such as SATS, and no doubt GCSE’s too.

Started our 15 year old whilst in his final year for his GCSE’s and his development has been great in just 9 sessions he’s developed so much with almost one to one tuition. There’s part of his studies that he says now make so much more sense and reduces the stress and got him into better studying habits. Computer Science lessons with Josh has been engaging and he was able to cover a lot of ground in a short space of time. Would definitely recommend.

Josh is a great A level Computer Science tutor. He has notes covering every topic and creates a positive learning environment. His sessions are very useful for consolidating the work done at school and refining knowledge and technique for exams.

Whilst looking for help for my son on the lead up to his GCSEs, we found an advert for tutoring and were immediately put at ease from the first conversation. My son has always struggled with attention and focus in his Maths lessons, but since starting his sessions, his attitude and confidence have improved greatly. Feedback has always been honest, encouraging and relatable. The one on one sessions have helped with focus, strategy and helped make studying and the exam process more manageable.

David has been tutoring my daughter for the last year or so .He has a fantastic ability to relate to children and makes the tutoring fun whilst providing a level of challenge based on the child’s ability.I have seen a huge improvement and progress in my daughter’s learning but also in her confidence- David’s passion for Physics and Maths is infectious. Although my daughter wasn’t necessarily struggling or behind in her learning, considering how little time teachers have to spend with individual pupils I was concerned that she may not fulfil her potential and at some point may struggle or be disengaged .They only have one education, and I want to give my daughter the best support that I can. I couldn’t have found better than David to do this. Don’t hesitate, it is a worthwhile investment in your child’s future !

It has been really useful. Even though we chose to have biology and chemistry tutoring then we have been able to have different subjects prior to exams. My only comment is that it would be better if the tutors were in different classrooms as I would find it difficult to concentrate with so many children being taught different subjects in the same room . I’m not sure about the idea of extra homework for them. If it iis going to be set then it shouldn’t take too long for them to complete

Our daughter really enjoys her math lessons with Johanna and is really reassuring to watch her confidence improving. She had to adjust and catch up with a new, more advanced curriculum as we moved to Nottingham 6 months ago. Johanna went through to identify all gaps and they are working towards covering gaps and building solid foundations. The homework that Johanna assigns in every lesson is very helpful to consolidate her learning.

Johanna has been tutoring my daughter for a few months now, which has provided a noticeable change in her attitude towards maths in the run up to her GCSE’s. My daughter had lessons with Brad to help cover areas not looked at by school. The help Brad gave pushed Charlotte and have her the skills needed to tackle the areas of the paper school hadn’t covered. He was also absolutely lovely and on the run up to the exams gave masses of advice and encouragement. The sessions were tailored to Charlotte and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Brad to other students. His support helped her achieve almost two grades higher than predicted.

Nottingham Tutors have been fantastic and very easy to deal with. We were assigned Pamela who has been a perfect match with our son. She’s taken into account his SEN issues and tailors things to make things manageable for him. Brilliant!

Thank you for providing an excellent Tutor to help my son taking a year 7 entrance exam. We have used Nottingham tutors before and my son based entrance exam to get into a private school. Emma was excellent in teaching my son English, Math and reasoning. She made sure he understood everything, she provided advise, relevant material and guidance on learning /studying for exams and has been reliable throughout. She has great communication skills with children and us as parents and so much knowledge to share with the children. A brilliant service. The internet is awash with services that do not come close to Rebecca's. She found us brilliant tutors who are trained teachers and can work with the smaller exam boards. Choosing a tutor and the relationship between your child and the tutor is so personal and Rebecca understands this. We used Kip McGrath for 11+ tutoring and the staff were very helpful from day 1. There was a good learning plan in place and good atmosphere for teaching. The teachers work very hard and even offered additional lessons at no cost to boost revision. Highly recommended!! Thank you for all your help 👍
