I'm so pleased that my son is studying Maths and Physics A Level at YoungEducation Stevenage. It's only been possible as he trusts and really 'clicks' with his tutors, both of whom have a great knowledge of their subjects - and can convey that knowledge to Ewan (the tricky part!).

Young education have got alternative provision spot on! My son is learning so much, and has that social interaction with peers there too. The staff and teachers are so friendly and completely understanding of neurodiversity. My son’s confidence shot up when he started here (following a really awful time at a previous school). The perfect blend of education and social interaction was just what he needed to transition him into starting a new school following his time here. I can’t thank them enough!

Val was recommended by a friend who got her daughter through her maths gcse with a great pass. My daughter Jess has confidence issues, but Val goes out of her way to make Jess feel at ease. Jess also has a much clearer understanding of maths gcse now. Would highly recommend for maths tuition.

Val has been amazing at building up my Son’s confidence over the past couple of years. Val fills in the blanks that his school can’t. Val really does know my Son and understands how he thinks and is therefore able to get the best from him. He is able to confidently ask question without fear of recriminations or ridicule - not something he feels able to do at school. I really do feel he will achieve better in his GCSE’s because of Val. They provide a very necessary service, helping children grow to their potential and especially in these times when results are so crucial. You can just see the confidence increase with every lesson.

Our daughter started Kumon maths because she was falling behind in school and getting into the "I can't do maths' mindset. From a starting point where simple arithmetic was a challenge she is now doing algebra! Sally and her team are friendly, patient and encouraging. Gently building confidence and, when the child is ready, stretching them to achieve more. During lockdown we also started Kumon English which our daughter thoroughly enjoyed and it was easy to see how her comprehension improved. We would, without hesitation, recommend Sally and Kumon.

We've only been at Kumon for just under 3 months, and there is vast improvement in my sons maths already. Highly recommend.

I enrolled my eldest daughter onto the Kumon Maths programme 6 years ago because I felt she would benefit from a course of work where she could move at a faster pace. She has always enjoyed maths at school and Kumon afforded her an opportunity to work at a more advanced level. My youngest daughter soon followed suit and continues to enjoy the benefits Kumon provides. I think Kumon is especially good at honing arithmetic skills ensuring students are able to work rapidly and accurately. Sally does a great job supporting and motivating the students and adapts the workload and style of teaching well.

Kumon has been fantastic for my two girls. Me eldest started (now 10) about 4 years ago and I'm so pleased she did, the confidence she has now his brilliant. Her mental arithmetic it top of the class, especially her times tables which she nailed within a few months or doing them every day. I would recommend any parent who wants to boost their child's confidence to give Kumon a try, it's daily maths sheets which take no longer than 20 mins and it means you as a parent don't have to worry trying to find all sorts of resources to help them. My youngest (8) has being do it for a year now and we are also seeing big benefits for her too.

My daughter was tutored remotely by Jo for science GCSE's and Psychology A level. She actively looked forward to the tutoring sessions which I know gave her so much confidence. With guidance from Jo my daughter moved up sets and progressed to being one of the strongest in her school tutor groups. Not only did the sessions boost her grades it gave her a real love for the subjects. If you are looking for one to one tutoring I really can't recommend Jo highly enough.

I have a 14 and a 9 year and to be fair i am so useless at maths that i cant help either if them. But Stefanie and her team can. Just what we needed. Stef was there during covid doing on line lessons, keeping them up to date. The classroom is friendly and welcoming with easy to understand homework that actually makes it fun. Parents evenings/afternoons, newsletters and a number of different ways to get in touch if there are any concerns. Very happy indeed and will be keeping both in up to and including GCSE and SATS. 100% recommend

We are very happy to see how our child in year 3 is progressing along since joining Stefanie's classes. We only have the experience of online classes since joining, due to lockdown and it's been very engaging. Looking forward to the in-person classes once everything reopens.

Such a friendly and supportive tutor company. We have used a few of the tutor sessions 1-1 and group over the last 2 years, Maths and Sciences. Georgina is very hands on. My daughter was not keen on having a tutor but we agreed to give it a try for a few sessions. A year later she is now sad that her weekly meet ups with Georgina for GCSE Maths have ended. Last maths exam was this morning and Pheobe said it went really well, so great results for her students too. Thanks Georgina and the team, I'd totally recommend you.
