We had an absolutely fantastic day, and I received overwhelmingly positive feedback from everyone who played. The course was in excellent condition, a true credit to your greens staff. The hospitality was superb, and the food was delicious – everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Thank you for making us feel so incredibly welcome at your club. I played this course as part of an away fixture. The first time that I've played the course and was really pleasantly surprised. The club house is an extended manor house with a very modern dining and patio area behind the main entrance. The practice area is pretty good with separate nets, putting green, chipping area and grass range. The only down side was, that because it is corporate owned i presume, that there was a function going on which meant the place was packed and we had to park adjacent to the grass range, leaving numerous cars in danger of an errant golf ball from there. The course itself is a tree lined parkland course with some really nice holes. There is enough elevation throughout the course to make for some great views but it does mean that you are playing a couple of blind approach shots. The course was in great condition. The fairways had really good coverage, the greens were of a good standard with a consistent roll and had enough slope on them to make for some challenging putts. The trees around the course provide some testing drives but with plenty of space further out for longer hitters. A couple of nice dog leg holes require accurate tee shots with challenging approaches. The final hole is a good looking par 3 up hill, with a view into the patio area. The members were friendly and the food was good. There were parts of the course that were still a little damp but there is a fair amount of water in the way of pond or streams to add further challenges into your round so not that surprising. Overall well worth a visit but it definitely should be played off the back tees to get the most out of your time there.

We used Brickendon Grange Golf Club for my dad’s 90th birthday party. It was fabulous! The room was light and airy with lovely views, the hot fork buffet was delicious and all the staff were really helpful. Parking was easy too. Everyone said what a lovely time they’d had.

Had a wonderful experience at Redbourn on Saturday having not been there for years. The range is amazing now! The guys in the shop were so kind and lent my 5 year old some clubs to use. Paula in the resteraunt still there and lovely as I remember! I can’t wait to return a lot more regularly!

Played there today as part of an organisers day. Played many times before but this day was outstanding. Couldn’t have been welcomed more and nothing was too much trouble. The course was in excellent condition considering we’d have days of rain. It’s a challenging play and enough to keep you interested. The staff looked after us exceedingly well (especially Ben) from start to end, whereby we had a delicious dinner to finish. Very positive experience. Give it a go 👍🏻

We booked in here today for the Easter Roast ( 5 adults and 3 babies) and we all agreed it was the best roast dinner we've had out for a very long time. Not only was the food outstanding, the friendly service, the setting and value for money was exceptional. Thank you so much for our Easter Chocolates. We will be going back soon and can highly recommend this restaurant.

I went for a mendi party. Place was easy to find, and there was plenty of parking available. Light food and drinks were served in the various function rooms.

Absolutely brilliant venue. Nice and clean. Brilliant staff helpful. Food was amazing. Wheelchair and Disability access. Toilet facility available. Ample Parking facility available with extra parking spaces. Members only golf club unfortunately. Architecture and decor was superb and kept so neat and tidy with history of the building.

We celebrated a work do here, and it was truly unforgettable. The manicured grounds are nothing short of spectacular—perfect for photos or a leisurely stroll between events. Inside, the interior is elegant and thoughtfully designed, striking the ideal balance between grandeur and warmth. And the food was simply outstanding: each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Overall, Moor Park delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish.

We were delighted to capture a wedding at the stunning Moor Park recently and in terms of wedding venues in and around London, this is the place to get married. It had everything you could wish for and more! Great food, kind staff, beautiful views and more. Thank you guys for all your help on the day - it was much appreciated.

Fantastic food and service today. Table of 7 celebrating Mother's day. Venue is lovely, great setting and great suite layout and decor. Table layout was fab, with gifts for the Mums etc. We will be back :) Staff very friendly and attentive. No rush to vacate. Fantastic time all round. Well done to everyone.

Attended a Wedding Fayre. Offered a set of 4 packages to choose from. Event planner was knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Grounds looked nice and well kept. Good choice of areas on site for wedding photos. Location is quite remote, but fairly easy to find.

We recently held a lunch party here with the carvery, fantastic food and service. All our guests loved it.

We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Aldwickbury Golf Club last week. The room was a good size for our group of 28 people. The seating was comfortable and the tables laid beautifully. The organisation from the time when we first made an enquiry to the day of the event was excellent. The three course meal was delicious. The staff were welcoming and the service was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend Aldwickbury for a party of this kind.

Arguably the best layout in Hertfordshire with the course to match. Running firm and fast through the summer Berkhamsted keeps you on your toes with no hole allowing you to rest on your laurels.

The course layout is excellent, providing a challenging test especially for straight hitters. It's in superb condition with friendly clubhouse staff and a well-stocked pro shop. Ideal for events with up to 120 guests, offering plenty of food and drink options. Overall, a top-notch experience with attentive service.

The course is a gem, however, the gorse and heather which is to this course what double greens, riveted bunkers and wind are to St Andrews ... have been hacked back and removed to a shocking degree. I wonder why this is? I personally don't think the course was that tough as to necessitate this to the extent it's been carried out. I'm assuming there is a very good reason for this as it's altered the character of the course radically in my opinion. I still love the course as much as ever, but I wonder how the the loss of so much gorse will impact upon nature ... mainly the bees, who let's face it, play a gargantuan role in the ecosystem. Let's hope it grows back!

Played here for first time Saturday morning. Very friendly staff in pro shop. Course in great condition. Biggest compliment is for the course layout though. Really interesting holes, laid out beautifully between mature trees and with challenging contours of the land. Genuine thought required on most holes. A couple of great shot par 4's, a few blind shots, but well marked. All in all, a great morning and somewhere I hope to play again, soon and often.

Lovely course, recommend a visit. Barely a flat lie all round, one suspect hole, maybe 14th. Lunch food was really nice too.

A hidden gem of a golf course. I played Whitehill as part of a society day. On arrival it looks as though you are driving into very well maintained converted farm. However, you soon discover on the parking area that there is a small well functioning range and that the buildings themselves are focused mainly towards the golf course, which I guess is as it should be. The pro shop staff were very welcoming and there was a good selection of beer and beverages available from the bar. I didn't have any food however the guys playing with me spoke highly of what they had ordered as snacks. Sitting down on the patio area by the practice green, you could see that the area was of a really high quality with some great brakes on the practice slope. The green looked as though it had been very well manicured and upon using it prior to my round found it gave a very even and consistent role, I was highly impressed. The course itself is a meandering parkland course and is very well situated with some slopes and hills that offer a real challenge. The fairways are tree lined with a lot of mature trees so the course had obviously been there for a while. The fairways were well cut and the rough was generally speaking fairly favourable. The second cut off the fairway was to a couple of inches and whilst it would trap the ball it did not mean that you lost many balls as part of your round. The greens were like the practice area and gave a fantastic roll with some lovely looking approach shots to them. The only real challenge was playing a number of blind tee / approach shots and having to use the well placed marker posts in order to find your line However a lovely detail for the course was that on every hole was a picture board with the layout of the hole you were playing with a separate picture showing the green and an indication of where the slopes were. The only thing the boards lacked were distance marker points on the picture but then that might make things a little too easy. The course had ball washers and bins at every tee which is something that I find has been withdrawn more and more from other courses and is something that I like. The 14th hole when i played was undergoing maintenance to the tees and was being played as a par 3 from halfway down the fairway but there was still a marker board giving the distance to the green. Having looked at the green fees on their website they are currently under £45 for a midweek prime time round which for the course is great value. I really enjoyed my round there and it is definitely a course i would recommend and visit again. Well done folks.

First time at the club today. Taken here by my 82 year old neighbour, who is a member here. Ain't played for 20 years lol Tried driving range, putting green, was welcomed by, professional, friendly staff, had a cup of tea at the bar, watched Olympics, lovely place to be. Definitely going back, will review food and try a round of golf ⛳️ Easy parking, disabled access, beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend so far, update ASAP.

So, it was the venue we used for a surprise party for a childhood friend. The venue was recommended by one of us who had visited before and enjoyed her experience there. Initially getting to book the room, tie down the date and time as well as make payment was a little struggle. They were unavailable to answer our queries due to staffing issues. At the time, someone was off sick and they were short-staffed. Once this was resolved it was smooth sailing all the way. We booked the date, time, room, and then made payments. Got confirmation of the booking. Sorted out the menu options for our guests, the layout of the room and decorations and colour scheme and that was it really! We did not need to do anything they took care of it. On the day, we arrived to see a beautifully decorated room. The staff went over and beyond our expectations. They were courteous and professional, and so helpful, we were all blown away! The surprise was a success and we had so much fun! The end was lovely. They cleared up after us and helped us pack our stuff into the cars. My friends and I were impressed with the exceptional service we received. The food was so lovely, we all enjoyed it. Even though we were running late,(it was difficult to get the celebrant out of the house 😅) the chef and staff were very understanding and accommodating. The meal time was pushed back 30 minutes and then forward 15 minutes because of the surprise time and the celebrant! They accommodated us effortlessly! Amazing 👏 service. I have a wedding planner friend whom I will be bringing back to this venue so she can add them to her list of lovely venues for parties and weddings in London. Thank you to all the team who worked brilliantly to make our friend's 50th birthday surprise party memorable. We are so grateful to have used this place. I am definitely going back there again!

First time playing at The Hertfordshire and it didn't disappoint. The staff in the pro shop were very welcoming and the shop itself had a decent collection on offer. The course was in great condition. The greens were true from one hole to the next and gave great confidence with the putter knowing you could trust the roll. The rough was tough. Quite thick and grabby but a fair punishment for being off line. Overall a brilliant course and a great challenge with all sorts of holes on offer. Not too long, not too short. I shot 90 which was slightly better than average for me if it helps give a guide as to how you might get on.

A warm welcome with good service and tasty food. Course has some interesting and excellent holes and a few very plain ones. A bit more time on course presentation including definition of cuts, along with faster summer greens would make this 5*. However, it is well experiencing this track :)

Very nice society day at Mid Herts. Considering the time of year (16 Nov) and recent rain the course was in good condition. Reception was friendly and welcoming with a well stocked bar. Food was excellent, pie and mash, perfect after a damp round.

The course is well kept even after some pretty terrible weather recently. Some moderately challenging holes. Very enjoyable experience.

Great experience! The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained with everything you could need. Staff are very attentative, fast and kind. They went above and beyond for everyone in my family and created an overall fantastic experience.

The whole experience for our wedding recently april 2025 was seemless, nothing was too much to organise from the planning stages, through to our big day and running of the day we were behind schedule but wasn't a problem. A massive thankyou and shout out to Gareth, Jim and their team for making our special day wonderful every attention to detail was thought of. We throughly recommend for anyone who is looking for a function or wedding to book here the team are so friendly with the wonderful golf course for pictures as well. I had been told good things about Letchworth and I wasn’t disappointed. We arrived ahead of the visitor roll up tee times on the weekend just as the course was being closed due to lighting! We decided have lunch on the clubhouse terrace whilst it cleared. There was a true sense of a very friendly club as we mingled with the members ahead of our round. Once on the course we were in for a real treat. The rain stopped and the course was looking amazing, the greens surprisingly firm and fast given the down poor only minutes before. We started on the back 9 finished on the front, both challenging with tree lined fairways. Both my playing partners commented on the quality of the course and also the practice facilities. I know there are a lot of quality courses in Hertfordshire but I expect as more people play this course it will creep up the rankings as it certainly deserves to.
