A hidden gem! I visited here whilst waiting for some work to be done on ym car in the nearby industrial area. The ladies were really friendly, taking the time to have a chat with everyone who visited. Food was so good! Everything is made "proper" and homemade. I had a jacket potato (pictured) and it was baked to perfection. Prices were good too! £5.95 for the jacket. It's really ununusual for a station cafe to actually be decent! So I'm gutted I'm not local and can't visit more! But I'd higly recommend if you're in the area.
I went to the bat and ball cafe with my mum today I had jacket potato beans and cheese and some salad too I really enjoyed it It was very tasty yummy and delicious and very lovely The staff that work there are very friendly and very kind I had a very lovely experience again today at the bat and ball cafe The service there is very good amazing lovely This place gets it's second 5 out of 5 star rating by me Hope you enjoy reading your google review by me Have a lovely rest of your day 5 stars all around again Thank you for making my first and second experience at the bat and ball cafe so lovely amazing and wondeful It has been pleasure checking out your bat and ball cafe by the train station The staff have been so friendly and welcoming to me and my mum
Popped in for an iced latte to take away. It’s a historic building and the atmosphere is really nice inside. The food menu looks very reasonably priced so i’ll definitely have to come back and try dining in. The vanilla iced latte was good, although the straw wasn’t long enough which made it quite awkward to carry and drink - some longer straws or flat lids would go a long way. Maybe they had run out of their usual straws, not sure :)
Great prices and quick service. A good addition to the station.
For price paid this place is excellent, had a very tasty jacket potato.
