A large group of people enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea in the Gardeners Retreat on Tuesday. Food and hospitality was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, many thanks to Niki, Rudi and Ruby (who made the tables look so pretty).

Very good garden centre. Great have a section selling shoes and clothes. The food in the restaurant is very good. The Tuesday roast smelt lovely and appeared very popular. We had the light bites which was great, 4oz gammon small portion of chips and a side salad. Very good selection on the menu. Breakfast items sounded great.

I visited Tring Garden Centre yesterday to meet my cousins in the cafe for tea and coffee. This is probably my fourth visit. The garden centre is well kept, managed and there is a lot of choice. The cafe is clean and has very reasonable prices. There is also plenty of parking. They are all the positives. The negatives are the ladies toilets. They are disgusting. There are only two which is ridiculous for the number of people using the centre. A 40 seater coach arrived at the same time as I did. There is no need for a sign on the toilet door as you can smell them before you go through. The one I used had a big piece missing from the cistern, a very wet floor and toilet paper everywhere. I am really surprised that they have not been condemned by Health and Safety. You really need to do something to rectify this before people report you to the authorities.

Went to buy some decorative stones for the garden. We go to pets corner and the cafe . We found the best selection for miles. Staff helpful and accommodating. Competitive pricing as well. They have a pavers there too so bought some new trainers. Great place very popular as well. Good find going back next weekend for more stones and brunch.
