Can’t recommend South Downs Garden Rooms enough! Everything was completely custom made to what I wanted. From start to finish everything was very professional. All of the builders on site were lovely and very considerate of my house too. All works have been completed to a very high standard. I am super happy with my new garden room which I am using as a workshop, it’s fully equipped with everything I could possibly need. For anyone considering a new addition for their home, this is the place to go and it’s 100% worth the wait and the money! Thank you to all the team at South Downs Garden Rooms!

After a recommendation from a friend and seeing the quality of work Luke and his team delivered I was really keen to have our garden room built by South Downs Garden rooms. We were not disappointed with the work, from the start Luke was open and receptive to our needs and he explained every step of the work from the initial plan all the way through to the completion of the room. When ever there was an issue the team were quick to resolve it to our satisfaction. The team who built our garden room were friendly and very professional, it was a pleasure having them working on the build, they were obviously very good at what they do. Overall we are over the moon with the finished product, its better than we imagined, we have only had very minor issues / snags after completion and they were resolved very quickly. From the very first conversation we had regarding the possibility of having South Down Garden Rooms install our out building both my wife and I had a good feeling and we were not left disappointed. Jacob was absolutely fantastic did the job really well and his team, gave us a really good quote and then even took a tree and cut down some dead branches for us, which was extremely kind on top of cutting the hedge the hedge looks so much better I would recommend him to anyone and I would use Jacob and his team again Here is before and after photos of our hedge

Ann-Marie took what was almost a field and turned it into a stunning, colourful garden, where I can potter, relax and admire the insects and amphibians now residing there. She listened to my wish for strong, vibrant sometimes clashing colours and designed big blocks of colour with bright scarlets against purple and orange and red - wonderful!

Had patio cleaned, extended and repointed properly to match original. One side of garden dug out and replaced with pebble border for pots. Much easier now for me to keep tidy. Large Pittisporum tree that was looking rather untidy was trimmed and reshaped. Very pleased with all the work carried out, big thanks to Francis, Reilly, Robin and Kelly, who were punctual, extremely tidy and worked very hard to make the garden and patio look so much better. On very short notice, Francis and his team transformed my Mum's Garden, in readiness for a house sale. I couldn't be happier with the results. They did an excellent job cutting the grass, trimming the edges, pressure washing the patio and much more, really going above and beyond. Kelly has been looking after my garden for about a year and does an excellent job! We recently had a patio area and a Gazebo fitted by Francis and the team and they have transformed a disused area of our garden into a haven. We had the work done over 5 days and Francis, Robin, Riley and Kelly worked really hard each and every day to create a beautiful, useable space. They left the garden tidy everyday and disposed of all the waste. They also built a log storage area for the fire pit, which wasn't part of the original plan, but Francis said he had the materials to build one for us. That was a really nice touch and it looks fantastic. It goes without saying that Luna (Kelly and Francis' beautiful Spaniel) is my favourite worker 😉 Luna always brightens up our day! Avant are absolutely amazing at what they do. They have excellent knowledge of plants, which I don't, and my garden always looks incredible when they leave. Edward and Ryan have done a fantastic job in removing and replacing our garden fence, along with concrete posts and concrete gravel boards. Having seen Simon's work online, we first asked him to design a back garden for us several years ago, knowing that it would be a while before we could start the works. We then came back to him to prepare detailed construction drawings and a planting plan and to help find a suitable contractor. I am absolutely delighted with my garden, and cannot recommend Simon of Orchard Garden Design strongly enough. Every step of the process was enjoyable. In the early stages, Simon took great care to understand my likes, dislikes, colour and style preferences. His design is innovative, fun, and better than I could have hoped for. Simon really went the extra mile. For example, I asked that we not have any plants that are toxic to cats. Not only did he exclude the toxic list, but he also took care not to include any plants that could potentially be dangerous to cats (it's a very long list!). He also went to select the rocks in person to ensure that they are the right shade and size for the garden. I was also surprised to learn that almost every plant in the garden flowers, and Simon selected them so that I have something new popping up almost every week of the summer! Simon always gave me options, and explained the implications. I always felt very much part of the process. My garden is now growing, and Simon has kept in touch, giving advice as the plants mature.
