Excellent service. John is so professional and good to his word. Our conifer trees needed a good cut back and prune. He was very considerate of our neighbours in keeping everything within our boundaries. A very hard worker, clean and tidy and have no doubts in recommending him to others. Will certainly use him again.

John was certainly the most professional landscape gardener we have ever used. He was thoughtful, consistent and listened to the customer - a very rare trait today. John occasionally was assisted by his team members although that was rare as he really participated 100% in our new garden which was a very difficult project being on a 1:20 slope. Not only did John lay our artificial grass to perfection with a brick edging, but also did the same for the front garden. Every day John left the site clean and tidy and always kept us informed of progress which depended, some days, on torrential rain which often didn't stop him planting trees! I can now add that his after sales response, for a couple of really minor items, was immediate. I can highly recommend JRG Landscapes for any residential household that wants a total refit or an upgrade to their garden.

We recently had a small fishpond and large surrounding shrubs removed from our garden, and consulted with John regarding the best way forward. We agreed that a circular patio would make best use of the wasted space, and John was happy to source materials and complete the work. It sounds simple, but there was so much work involved in simply levelling the area off and removing unwanted detritus before the actual installation could begin. We could not fault his attitude, work ethic and efficiency as he undertook the prep work. We were equally impressed by his attention to detail when actually laying the patio, ensuring a perfect finish. He also then lay new turf to fill the gap between the patio and the existing lawn. We are absolutely delighted with the project and are grateful to John for making our original idea become reality. I would have no hesitation, and in fact, I do recommend JRG for any landscaping job one may be considering.

John was exceptionally professional and helped me totally revamp my back garden using a lot of what was already there. He has great attention to detail and kept me updated throughout. Kelvin and his team did a great job re turfing our garden and it’s a massive improvement. They spent an hour after the work was completed tidying and cleaning the patio which was appreciated. The aftercare provided was also very helpful and well explained, would highly recommend.

Simon took time to listen to what I wanted done in my garden. His quote gave a clear and itemized breakdown of the costs. Access was difficult, and the team was careful to protect our property. There was no collateral damage in spite of some large equipment being brought onto site. They did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. A very stress free project!

New brick walls and steps were built and a soak away with Aco drainage installed. Previously there had been a pooling of water after heavy rain. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Annabel on the transformation of our garden and we are delighted with the outcome. Her knowledge of plants, excellent taste and passion for her work have been invaluable. After showing Annabel a few photos of the type of ‘look’ we wanted to create, she came up with a design and planting plan, then sourced the most gorgeous plants, mature trees, climbers, pots and garden furniture. The project has been carried out in phases to accommodate our schedule. It has been exciting to watch the different plants pop up throughout the seasons with the most beautiful coordinated colours, scents and style. We started working with Garden Thyme in October, with the focus just on our Football Pitch that the club use. The Centre only had coverage for the pitch to be marked & cut once a month. We had so many issues with it not allowing us to play football so we got in touch with Garden Thyme to help. They came in to do a review, instantly we found out the pitch was too small. with 95 x 85 instead of the FA requirements of 100 x 85, alongside that the pitch wasn't even straight! They were able to fix that, using Blue lines & the Robot to give us a perfect size pitch & even but our club Logo in the ground! Then the main focus was why the pitch was so bobbly, the team found out the pitch wasn't rolled, so Garden Thyme brought their Quad Mower to roll, cut & brush the pitch all at once, whilst also cutting into the soil allowing it to breath once rolled. The game after you could see the huge difference & the team all said it made a huge difference. We highly recommend them to any football club!

Simon and Ian have helped us paint lines on local Newbury pitches for 11-a-side football games and their service is always exemplary. They’ve saved our bacon at short notice more than once and are always professional, friendly and easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

So easy to deal with and so professional from start to finish to the point we have booked them back for 2025 ! . We approached Simon after seeing the great work he had done with our neighbour's patio and contracted him for all our outdoor landscaping, including one side of the back fencing, a large porcelain patio with a metal gazebo at the back, block paving for our driveway, and levelling and re-turfing our garden. Jamie came round to assess the work i needed to be done for my mum. He supplied a quote and a couple of weeks later he and another came to do the work. Not living near mum i need to be able to trust tradesmen i employ to do work for mum and the great thing about Family Tree Landscaping all the work is kept within house; Jamie came to assess and also to do the work. This is not always the case with other companies i have used. I would certainly use them again; they are local, respectful and professional. I recommend them.
