Our garden was in real need of a makeover. The sleepers and fence panels were rotten, the flower beds were overgrown, the paving was uneven and on two levels - and the garden just generally wasn’t safe for our toddler to play out in. We wanted a modern, low maintenance and safe area, and Jason at JJ Landscapes & Ponds listened to our needs and gave us exactly what we were after.

We had all of the fence panels and some of the concrete posts replaced, Indian stone laid and artificial grass. Due to access, the team had to do the dig out by hand (and there were actually 3 layers of paving!) – but they got through it in no time and with no complaints. The team worked so hard through both blistering heat and pouring rain and were polite, friendly, professional. There is tree which is encroaching on to our boundary from our neighbour’s – and despite this, they’ve done a fantastic job with the fencing and the replacement posts that we needed. The Indian stone paving and artificial grass fitted our ‘modern, low maintenance and safe’ brief perfectly and looks stunning.

We initially only wanted a small, paved area from our patio doors, but Jason suggested extending it as we could put a bench or some chairs there in addition to our planned seating area at the back. This was a great idea and one we hadn’t thought of. So, make sure you do consider his recommendations as we would have regretted going with a smaller paved area. We are all absolutely over the moon with our new garden and have spent every free moment in it when we’ve had the weather to enjoy it.
