Great little park/gardens Giant chess game, table tennis tables (bring bats & ball) sectioned off children's playground. Very clean public toilets Very popular place to eat lunch.
The Paddington Street Garden is a great place, not far from Abbey Road and Daunt Books. You can take a rest on the many benches while enjoying the view of beautiful flowers and the pleasant breeze.
We were there for Marylebone summer street fare. Which is great. Farmers market, artisan foods, drinks. Fitness, clothing, flowers, candles, mini fun fare and many many more in the surrounding streets. There is even a dog show!! In the park itself, food and drinks, places to sit and a stage with live music. (Last yr they also had a cinema screen) There is a med - large fenced kids area, plenty of tables and pretty gardens. Such a good day! If you get a chance you should give it a try.
Probably one of the loveliest parks in London. So peaceful and well-taken care of. Defibrillator in one of the exits.
Rather a lovely oasis in an area of mainly private garden squares, lots of comfortable places to sit, with roses and mature growth trees.
