I asked Jen to come and deliver and plant a Ruby Red Rose bush in my back garden for an anniversary present for my partner. Not only did she come and do this but ended up clearing out my whole garden, pruning the hydrangia and trees. Jen has a lovely personality and is an expert in gardening and I would not hesitate to engage her professionally for any gardening work. Her assistant Aaron is also a lovely friendly person and came early to dig the hole needed for the plant. They made the experience most enjoyable and went far beyond what was expected of them. I now employ them on other projects, they have been so efficient.

Flow Gardeners have been to tend our garden twice now, and both times we have been wonderfully pleased with the result. Half an autumn and much of a winter’s unwanted growth and unruliness were transformed in one session into a surprisingly beautiful and tidy garden ready for the spring. The second session, a planting session, which included careful sourcing and delivery of appropriate plants for our garden, has made the garden even more ready for the coming season. Most importantly, we have had the strong sense each time that the gardeners enjoy their work, making for a very happy and rewarding exchange of labour and time for (a perfectly reasonable amount of) money: the epitome of what a small local business should be. Usually my Dad takes care of the garden, but because of his recent health issues the garden had become really overgrown. I tried to tackle it myself, but I didn’t have the right tools for the job. I started looking for a company to clear the garden, which is when I discovered Urban Gardeners online and contacted them. Correspondence with Plamena was superb: all emails were answered promptly and professionally. Pricing was clearly explained and I was happy to proceed with a mutually agreed date and time. The two gentlemen that came to the house were polite, considerate to our home, and amongst the hardest working people I’ve ever encountered. The weather was really hot on the day they came, but they still grafted despite the heat. They did an excellent job of clearing our garden, and were done within an hour (initially we thought it would take 3hrs). So even with us also paying for removal of the garden waste, it was still cheaper than we expected. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I’ve already recommended them to several of my colleagues and clients. If in the future I can persuade my Dad to pave or turf the garden this is the company I’ll be calling.

The team at Urban Gardeners did a great job, completely transforming our garden in 3 days. They cleared the garden, removed trees, built a fence and laid a new lawn. Lovely to work with, speedy, thorough, tidy and prompt!

A huge thank you to the Urban Gardeners team for transforming our garden here in Peckham, SE London. The garden was previously in very bad shape (rotten decking, steps, and dying / weed-ridden lawn. The team did an amazing job of clearing everything out (including removal of a tree!) and then building an entirely new and extended hard-wood deck and stairs / landing and also replacing the lawn with the beautiful stripes you can see! Communication throughout from Plamena was great and with the team on the ground they were very good at asking questions and making small adjustments as required throughout the process. I requested a few small changes to the initial quote and this was dealt with in a very friendly and flexible way. The team were very pleasant throughout, got rid of all the mess, and also did the whole thing for a very fair and reasonable price. What a brilliant team Urban Gardeners are! From booking the service, to completing the job, they are complete professionals. The gardeners arrived early and were super efficient in clearing my garden. And the added bonus is they charge a great price. It was hard to find someone willing to accept a gardening and a cleaning job as a one-stop solution for a relatively small development. James came across as very professional and engaging on a personal level. During his first visit he estimated a scope of work and reverted with the offer that we found appealing. On the day of the job, the team came on time and worked diligently on cleaning and gardening. We liked the quality of work and professionalism of the team. Can definitely recommend.

Have done the gardens around our block for a while. REALLY friendly staff (they even talk gardening with my Mum when she comes over to visit) and have always done an excellent job.
