Had a job to add a electric cooker point and hide the wire behind some trunking. Big thanks to Liam, Carl and Darren today for an excellent job. Cleaned up after themselves and was tidy throughout.

The team did a great job replacing 9 spotlights, some of which had dodgy cabling. They also replaced some sockets and a light switch. The work was to a high standard. l and I would definitely use them again!

Had the guys out to move our plug sockets out of skirting board - while they were out they noticed a problem with our electrical box and fixed it asap to make sure everything was safe. Overall they did a great job, very professional, and tidy. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

Scott recently installed several new plug sockets and re-wired a cooker socket when we had our kitchen refitted. He was recommended by our kitchen fitter but we got several quotes, he was a good price and importantly said he didn’t need to tear up our ceiling to do the required work. Best Electrical company I have ever work with, reliable and efficient, I had a problem on the day of the job which was nothing to do with these guys but they reassured me & came out again just make sure everything was OK and got the job done.

We were looking for an electrician to replace our house fuse board. British Gas (Home Care) gave us a quote for installing a new one. I Googled the average cost of replacing a fuse board and British Gas were far over the cost that my Google search found. I used Checkertrade to contact local companies. I had four contact me, one was Ashley Gray. I checked out all 4 and invited them to quote. I noticed that Ashley had done a big refit for a friend of mine. But still was open to any of the 4. All came around and gave very similar estimates. Ashley was first to visit, really nice bloke who told me what I needed and what was entailed. I went for Ashley because I had seen his previous work although at the time I never knew Ashley. We agreed a date and cost. The work would be for a day, no cash upfront required. Martin from Ashley’s company did the work. Top class worker who did a great neat job. The certificate came through within 7 days. No pressure to pay quickly and plenty of reassurance from Ashley. A top company, Ashley great to work with and Martin a great electrician. Would recommend highly.

Came round to quote for a full rewire. Told me I didn’t need a rewire. Talked himself out of a £4000 job. Had him to wire me a new fuse board and fit me a shower at a fraction of the cost. Will be keeping his number and recommending him.

Great for all your crane spares

After 15 years of working with C Y Electrical & Cranes Co Ltd i can honestly say it has been a pleasure, with 3 overhead cranes requiring LOLER tests, maintenance, breakdowns, planning improvements as well as supplying mini cranes on steel structures we fabricated on mezzanine floors i have not got a single concern with this company, they have bent over backwards in our time of need. Our factory is closing down (2021) and we are moving to offices, but we highly recommend this company to anyone after a fair price for some good honest service. I have to say the conversations with this company have also been a highlight of dealing with them. A thank you from me to all the staff.

I contacted Troy to come and assess and replace a damaged socket that was potentially a danger. Troy was with us within a couple of hours and on a Saturday morning. Socket and plug all replaced, safety checked and we're back up and running. Great service, thanks Troy.

Dan is an experienced and hardworking electrician. He has upgraded our very old fuseboard, and done safety checks on our switch sockets and lighting switches. He has replaced some switch sockets and done some repairs to light fixtures. He has also advised on other areas of maintenance and repair to our very old house. Dan was great and able to fit me in at very short notice. His prices are also very reasonable. He fitted a socket for the TV on the chimney breast and installed my hardwired ring doorbell, without running wires all through the house. He's also very tidy and keeps his workspace clean.
