Manufactured and fitted top quality wooden windows and hardware for us, installed to a high standard and all according to listed building stipulations. Produced initial general drawings for apraisal and then fully detailed drawings for inclusion in our listed building consent application. During installation, everyone on site was talkative, polite, approachable, good natured and knowledgeable - punctual, working quickly but with care. The overall project manager always responded promptly to messages and calls, was pro-active and defined a project timeline that was adhered to. Highly recommended.

Paul fitted 8 new cottage style doors in our Victorian Semi to replace the original 140 year old pine ones that were really showing their age The transformation is amazing. The doors he supplied were already coated in a nice primed finish, and actually were exactly the same colour as our choice of paint, which was Creme Del la Creme in the French Chic range ,so we only had to paint the sides he individually planed to fit . Absolutely love my new kitchen! Steve, Jack, Jase, Jack and Mike were really lovely, friendly and really quick, made it look so simple. A few hiccups along the way however were resolved very quickly, but things never do run smoothly. The attention to detail was fab. Highly recommend them and will use them again as and when required.

Scott has played a very important role in our home renovation project! We've done everything from changing the windows to outside cladding, indoor carpentry and plastering etc. Absolutely impeccable craftsmanship from Scott, cannot fault a single thing he's touched! We get so many compliments on our house from passer-bys these days and it is hugely thanks to him! Scott is an honest tradesman who takes time to understand what needs to be done, but he's also got a wealth of experience and is happy to suggest ways things should be done, too. Scott also helped to recommended other tradesmen for the work that he can't do himself. Let me tell you, every person that he recommended has done well! So as long as we live in Sutton Coldfield, we'll be going back to Scott if anything else needs doing. PS: To the person who's left one star review. Sorry you missed on having Scott doing some work on your house! He really is very busy and when your quote slipped through, he was very busy with all that work that was being done on our house. This, however, shouldn't warrant a one star review, as it isn't a reflection of Scott's actual craftsmanship, which what these reviews should be about! Thanks!

We used Scott from 1st Choice Carpentry & Building to install our new kitchen. He did a fantastic job for us - installed to a really high standard, with minimal disruption. Scott is polite and friendly, and a tidy worker. He kept us informed about everything during the process. Would recommend using Scott, searched through quite a few carpenters on google before deciding to use his services. I was not disappointed with the result and his workmanship, a tidy and friendly contractor, who kept me informed throughout the build and helped me out with additional jobs around the house at no extra hassle.

Scott came to do some panelling, build a bespoke cupboard and fit a ceiling rose. His workmanship is excellent. My living room is transformed! He listened to exactly what I wanted, was incredibly reliable and communicated well. He even worked late until the job was done! Wonderful service! I would definitely recommend him and his company.

Chet has done a great job for me. I needed cupboard shelving to be removed and rebuilt to enable some damp treatment. I was really impressed by his reliability- he came exactly when he promised to and kept me fully up to date with his communications. I am happy to recommend him.

Rafa did a good job fitting a dado rail and skirting for me. He was able to do the work at short notice and to a good standard. He managed my expectations well and kept me informed with progress. I will be contacting him again in future for more work.

Rafa fitted a built in wardrobe in my bedroom he helped me design what I had in mind, and built the wardrobe and spray painted the doors to the exact paint colour we wanted.
