Phil has recently completed the most beautiful set of 4 fitted bookcases with cupboards below and a cupboard across the bay window. We are thrilled! Phil developed a design based on our basic needs and the finished effect is amazing: he has such good aesthetic sense and attention to detail. He is tidy and considerate and goes the extra mile: he offered to do our skirting boards too so that the fit with the cupboards is immaculate. Would definitely ask Phil back. And a thoroughly nice man as well as being a highly talented professional; a great experience! (Will add photos later)

Phil fitted some stunning alcove cabinets in our hallway. We are over the mood with the work. Phil was punctual and reliable and the finish is wonderful. Could not be happier. He's coming back next year to do some more work for us....!!!!

If you’re thinking of having Phil undertake carpentry at your house please do not hesitate. He is a consummate professional, excellent at his craft and on top of that a really friendly bloke. We wanted a bespoke staircase fitted in our home, modelled on the original 1960s open tread staircase, and Phil did an excellent job (see photos). He worked so hard to make the staircase practical and beautiful and we have had so many comments on how beautiful it is. We would happily use Phil again and recommend him to friends and family.

Phil is the consumate professional you've always dreamed of. We have had several jobs done by Phil, fitting new doors with oak lintel, oak shelving and bespoke wardrobes in a challenging space. He will spend as long as you require to discuss the project and will always find a solution which, when finished, is exactly what you were expecting. Excellent service from Rubien today, had to have an emergency call out to fix the front door, after sending him a quick video of the problem, he gave me a quote. When doing the job, he found it to be a bigger job than expected and said it may cost more. After several attempts of fixing it, he eventually succeeded and still only charged me the original quote. We called CGT in the early hours of Sunday morning after the door to my daughters flat was kicked in. Reuben advised us of the price and how long it would take him to get there. Chet re-fitted two doors for us that had not fitted for some time. He arrived on time and completed the job with the minimum of fuss, he was also very tidy and managed not to leave any wood chippings behind. We would use him again.

When we bought our new house, we were faced with the unexpected problem of a rotten kitchen. Even though we'd had a survey done, the survey didn't highlight how bad the kitchen was. We had to rip the kitchen out with two weeks to our moving day. We were recommended Mario's services by a friend from the school run and Mario was able to fit a store bought kitchen quickly and efficiently. Mario saved the day for us. We moved in on time. He even fit the flooring in our kitchen and hallway for us. We are incredibly grateful to Mario for his willingness to put himself out for us. He did a great job and the kitchen looks great. We have just had our kitchen completely refurbished by Mario and we couldn’t be happier! Mario and Qubic Carpenters are a fantastic company who have done various works for me over the last two years. Each job has been excellent and cheaper than anyone else I've had price. Mario and Leeza are a lovely and I am always satisfied knowing they are looking after my home. Since working on my home they have done work for a number of friends of mine who have also passed high praise.

Working with Mario has been fantastic! He did engineered wood flooring and bespoke shelving for us. The quality of the work has been exceptional and he was also ready to solve any difficulties along the way, as for example levelling the floor, repair broken steps etc. Moreover, the pricings were all in line with the quote and very reasonable.

Fitting of a large fully integrated Wren kitchen. We engaged Jon through a 3rd party and have been very, very impressed with his skills and adaptability during a very challenging large kitchen configuration. What is particularly impressive is his highly skilled joinery experience and can do attitude when he hits problems during the fitting. He reviews plans and isn’t afraid to point out flaws and or design mistakes, working with you to overcome them to give you the ideal finish. He thinks through each task at each stage to ensure an accurate and quality piece of completed work. I would highly recommend him for any joinery work, fitting and or general property maintenance work, in fact we are using him again on something else!

I have been using this company for years for many carpentry jobs including new doors and associated ironmongery etc. Structural floors and finishing works. 🥇 Only small draw back is that they don't do all the building work i need , like plumbing. 😄

Scott has played a very important role in our home renovation project! We've done everything from changing the windows to outside cladding, indoor carpentry and plastering etc. Absolutely impeccable craftsmanship from Scott, cannot fault a single thing he's touched! We get so many compliments on our house from passer-bys these days and it is hugely thanks to him! Scott is an honest tradesman who takes time to understand what needs to be done, but he's also got a wealth of experience and is happy to suggest ways things should be done, too. Scott also helped to recommended other tradesmen for the work that he can't do himself. Let me tell you, every person that he recommended has done well! So as long as we live in Sutton Coldfield, we'll be going back to Scott if anything else needs doing. PS: To the person who's left one star review. Sorry you missed on having Scott doing some work on your house! He really is very busy and when your quote slipped through, he was very busy with all that work that was being done on our house. This, however, shouldn't warrant a one star review, as it isn't a reflection of Scott's actual craftsmanship, which what these reviews should be about! Thanks!

Scott came to do some panelling, build a bespoke cupboard and fit a ceiling rose. His workmanship is excellent. My living room is transformed! He listened to exactly what I wanted, was incredibly reliable and communicated well. He even worked late until the job was done! Wonderful service! I would definitely recommend him and his company.

Would recommend using Scott, searched through quite a few carpenters on google before deciding to use his services. I was not disappointed with the result and his workmanship, a tidy and friendly contractor, who kept me informed throughout the build and helped me out with additional jobs around the house at no extra hassle.

I cannot recommend Caine highly enough. He is the politest, hardest working, and tidiest builder I have ever met. We always knew that the renovation work we were undertaking was going to throw up some surprises, but Caine was able to deal with them all. Since we didn't know the full extent of the problems before he started, he was very helpful in giving a range of prices, depending on what might need doing (although reality was far worse than any of us expected). He fully consulted with us each time we found a new problem, and kept us informed on what was happening. I hope to get Caine back to do the next phase of work on my property, sometime next year.

We had spoken to a few construction companies in regards to our extension but none of them came across like Caine at Rightlook did. From the very beginning he was onboard with our plans, gave us advice, quick to respond to us and extremely accommodating. His approach was very honest and reassuring which was a big factor seeing as we had never undertaken a project like this before. Since day one, the project was managed, delivery of materials was always onetime, the site left tidy at the end of each day and the schedule of works met. All the people that Rightlook work with (staff and contractors) were of a high standard, had great attention to detail and despite different tradesmen coming in throughout the project, it felt as if they cared about our project just as much as Caine & the team did. Not that there were many at all but whenever there was an issue Caine resolved it and he always accommodated to our wants and needs. I would highly recommend Rightlook to anyone whether it be a small or large project.

Caine and his team have recently completed a renovation to our house, removing a suspended ceiling, rerouted pipe work, overhauled electrics, installed a new ceiling and plastered to an extremely high standard. The level of workmanship was outstanding, each day site was left clean and tidy, all tools neatly stacked safely. Given the work we had done, mess was minimal. It's not easy to find a builder who is as trustworthy, polite and reliable as Caine and his team. Any obstacles that Caine came across during the renovation were tackled with great solutions and ideas. To coin his phrase... Solutions not problems! Even after the renovation has been completed, we keep in touch. We would highly recommend his services and we will certainly be using Caine and his team again for any future work! Caine was brilliant! We have an old house and much of the woodwork needed fixing. Caine has replaced both functional and decorative pieces with enormous skill (he rebuilt the decorative apex in the photo completely). He has high standards and won't rest until it's right. Definitely recommend.

Rafa fitted a built in wardrobe in my bedroom he helped me design what I had in mind, and built the wardrobe and spray painted the doors to the exact paint colour we wanted. Rafa did a good job fitting a dado rail and skirting for me. He was able to do the work at short notice and to a good standard. He managed my expectations well and kept me informed with progress. I will be contacting him again in future for more work.

Rafa and team worked wonders on my kitchen. They replaced an old work surface with solid oak, fitted a wall cupboard and created a bespoke solution to cover my unsightly boiler pipes. Good communication throughout, adaptable and competitively priced. They took care to keep things clean and tidy too, putting down dust overs and hoovering after finishing the job. I am delighted with the finish and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
