Craig was excellent. He was responsive when I enquired and a professional throughout. We needed some skirting boards fitted and doors shaved, we're very happy with the outcome. Will definitely use again and recommend to others.

I needed to reconfigure my wardrobe, and put new doors on, I contacted Craig and he was happy to take the job. As I was was unsure what I actually needed, Craig was happy to offer his advice on what materials I would need for the job(s). New wardrobe looks brilliant, given me so much more room, storage cuboard has been transformed with new shelves, which has given me room to put in shoe storange boxes and he converted a built in chest of drawers into a long awaited make-up/dressing table, all within two days! Everything has been finished to a professional standard, GREAT service, arrived on time, left no mess, and was always smiling. I will contact him again when I have more jobs to get done.

Karl and Co fitted a brand new utility room and a vanity unit for a downstairs bathroom. The quality of their work is exceptional and their turnaround time is also fast. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was amazing. We recently had a media wall installed by them, and the entire process was seamless from start to finish. From the initial consultation where they listened attentively to our ideas and requirements and tailored the design specifically to our needs, to the delivery and install. We used Scott from 1st Choice Carpentry & Building to install our new kitchen. He did a fantastic job for us - installed to a really high standard, with minimal disruption. Scott is polite and friendly, and a tidy worker. He kept us informed about everything during the process. Scott has played a very important role in our home renovation project! We've done everything from changing the windows to outside cladding, indoor carpentry and plastering etc. Absolutely impeccable craftsmanship from Scott, cannot fault a single thing he's touched! We get so many compliments on our house from passer-bys these days and it is hugely thanks to him! Scott is an honest tradesman who takes time to understand what needs to be done, but he's also got a wealth of experience and is happy to suggest ways things should be done, too. Scott also helped to recommended other tradesmen for the work that he can't do himself. Let me tell you, every person that he recommended has done well! So as long as we live in Sutton Coldfield, we'll be going back to Scott if anything else needs doing. PS: To the person who's left one star review. Sorry you missed on having Scott doing some work on your house! He really is very busy and when your quote slipped through, he was very busy with all that work that was being done on our house. Scott came to do some panelling, build a bespoke cupboard and fit a ceiling rose. His workmanship is excellent. My living room is transformed! He listened to exactly what I wanted, was incredibly reliable and communicated well. He even worked late until the job was done! Wonderful service! I would definitely recommend him and his company.

Neat, tidy and very good attention to detail and great quality. I have been using this company for years for many carpentry jobs including new doors and associated ironmongery etc. Structural floors and finishing works. 🥇 Only small draw back is that they don't do all the building work i need , like plumbing. 😄

Adam and his team took great care for the design of our short staircase banisters, offering helpful suggestions to improve the effectiveness and was flexible to our requirements and choices. The work was carried out neatly and tidily and we enjoyed having them there with their enormous amount of equipment. Unfortunately as incorrect spindles were supplied to them, there was a long delay in completing the job, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Adam, Tom and Cameron were excellent. We couldn’t be happier with our staircase renovation. We recently had our staircase refurbished with oak spindles and a feature bottom step, and 16 internal doors replaced with oak doors. We could not have come across three nicer guys as Adam, Tom and Cameron who did a job beyond are expectations. Excellent in their trade, very tidy in their work and cleared up every night. When we bought our new house, we were faced with the unexpected problem of a rotten kitchen. Even though we'd had a survey done, the survey didn't highlight how bad the kitchen was. We had to rip the kitchen out with two weeks to our moving day. We were recommended Mario's services by a friend from the school run and Mario was able to fit a store bought kitchen quickly and efficiently. Mario saved the day for us. We moved in on time. We have just had our kitchen completely refurbished by Mario and we couldn’t be happier! I was looking for a local carpenter to replace door handles and locks. Stephen was absolutely fantastic, he was very busy but very honest about when he could get the job completed. The job was completed to my satisfaction, i would highly recommend Stephen.

Ste and his team were great, we had lots of jobs done around the home and he even did a few extras off his own back such as fixing creaks in the floor upstairs. We have had lots of compliments on the work that has been done.

I rang Stephen aston for a quote on 5 internal doors to be fitted and supplied . It was a tricky job as my doors were not the usual doors sizes. Stephen came round and seemed a nice guenine bloke. He advised me on what doors I could have and said he would email the quote all laid out so I knew exactly what I was paying for. After I received quote which was very reasonable, i went ahead with him. He came when he said he would and fitted my five doors and door furniture. What an excellent job he did and was very friendly and helpful along the way . He was a clean and tidy worker and even disposed of my old doors at no extra cost. A few months had passed since doors fitted and I noticed 2 doors had swelled due to the hot weather. So I gave Stephen a call to see if he could help. No bother he arranged to come around and he re -hung the doors for me at no extra cost. All in all a first class carpenter and does an excellent job for a fair price. I would recommend him to anyone if you want a professional job doing and not one of these jack of all trades cowboys. Thanks Stephen first class job.

Custom built cabinets to house our washer and dryer. Professional service, outstanding build quality. A few problems for them to overcome in an awkward odd sized room and the end result is top notch. Looks amazing and very happy with the end result. Definitely recommend them. Friendly and professional. Everywhere was cleaned up at the end of the day. Great service.

Rafa fitted a built in wardrobe in my bedroom he helped me design what I had in mind, and built the wardrobe and spray painted the doors to the exact paint colour we wanted. Rafa did a good job fitting a dado rail and skirting for me. He was able to do the work at short notice and to a good standard. He managed my expectations well and kept me informed with progress. I will be contacting him again in future for more work.

Phil has recently completed the most beautiful set of 4 fitted bookcases with cupboards below and a cupboard across the bay window. We are thrilled! Phil developed a design based on our basic needs and the finished effect is amazing: he has such good aesthetic sense and attention to detail. He is tidy and considerate and goes the extra mile: he offered to do our skirting boards too so that the fit with the cupboards is immaculate. Would definitely ask Phil back. And a thoroughly nice man as well as being a highly talented professional; a great experience! (Will add photos later)

I cannot recommend Philip enough from start to finish for fitting my entire kitchen. When Philip first came to look at my house and when we first met, he was on time and an extremely nice genuine person. He made lots of ideas and suggestions to improve on my plans using his knowledge and experiences. Although I had a fairly large kitchen, I was actually on a tight budget. Philip’s quote arrived on time and was "extremely" favourable in comparison to two other quotes I received. He took great care to protect my new oak floor. Each day the house was left clean and tidy. He was extremely reliable and 100% trustworthy. Philips attention to detail was excellent and I couldn't fault anything he did. My entire kitchen looks STUNNING ! And to say I am delighted with him workmanship is an understatement. As soon as I have saved up, I would like Philip to return and make me a treehouse and other projects.....he is that good....

Phil is the consumate professional you've always dreamed of. We have had several jobs done by Phil, fitting new doors with oak lintel, oak shelving and bespoke wardrobes in a challenging space. He will spend as long as you require to discuss the project and will always find a solution which, when finished, is exactly what you were expecting. Courteous, tidy and always turns up when he says he will! Can't recommend highly enough and we will undoubtedly use Phil again.

Phil fitted some stunning alcove cabinets in our hallway. We are over the mood with the work. Phil was punctual and reliable and the finish is wonderful. Could not be happier. He's coming back next year to do some more work for us....!!!!

Oz built some custom shelves for us for the living room. He is friendly and very knowledgeable. Oz is transparent and fair with how he prices, and sticks to his schedule. We will use Oz again, as we need a custom shelving unit for our upstairs office.
