Pete's work is exceptional, his level of detail is something to be admired. You really can tell the quality difference between furniture which is mass produced and furniture which has been crafted with many years of skill. Yes you have to wait, this isn't something that can be knocked up in a week but rather months. He has an eye for detail that impresses and you are left with not just a piece of quality furniture, but quality furniture that will last a life time. Pete made our bedroom wardrobe with 3 sliding doors with a mid section for drawers and shoe drawers with space for a TV at the top. To each side there are two compartments for hanging clothes each section being lit up when you slide open the door. There is also down lighters and power sockets inside the wardrobe. Upon completion I asked Pete for some office storage with file hangers, this also was done made to measure with every conceivable detail. I would highly recommend Pete for all your carpentry needs.

We had a very fiddly custom job - Peter made some oak mounts and re-purposed some original brass plates for period brass and Bakelite light switches that I wanted to fit in with our old property. It's hard to find someone with the patience to do a job like this! Delighted with result, Peter really took his time to understand and deliver exactly what was needed for a very reasonable price. Recommend!

Pete has made two bespoke pieces of furniture for us both of which we are very pleased with. He came highly recommended by a friend and it is clear from meeting him that Pete has a wealth of knowledge and expertise and and thus he advised us on the best solution for storage and aesthetics. He created designs after careful consideration and we are so pleased with the end products. We would highly recommend!

Rafal and Janusz have been absolutely amazing! They have done a number of jobs for us including building shelves for our new build wardrobes and creating a beautiful outdoor space for us with a pragola and garden room which I absolutely love! Look at the difference! On the left are a set of 135 year old stairs that where falling apart and on the right my beautiful, refurbished stairs. And I adore them. I contacted Brothers Carpentry Ltd to get advise and a quote to replace the staircase. Rafal advised that the stairs where built into the house and would be a huge job to replace. He then suggested having overlays instead which would be less mess and more cost effective. No brainer!! The team arrived bang on time on the agreed date. To complete the stairs, it took 1 day, and they are superb. They look amazing, I chose solid oak with no knots as I wanted a modern look, which has been achieved. Rafal and Ollie, are the cleanest workers I've met. Apart from the lovely staircase, they left without a leaving a trace of dust. All rubbish was removed without question. I would 100% recommend Brothers Carpentry Ltd and will definitely consider th for our next project. Hi. I had these guys build a gazebo from scratch on site in 3 days. Some 5 meters wide and 3 meters deep. They are awesome. Hardworking guys who got on with the job with a high degree of skill. The quality of the materials they use are excellent. All solid and good quality. Their knowledge of how to build and construct properly is great. Cleaned up after themselves and left the place tidy at the end of each day. Thoroughly recommend these guys if you want the job done properly.

We commissioned a set of alcove-fitted wardrobes from Brothers carpentry, and were impressed with the service throughout. Rafal was friendly and informative at all times, providing realistic timescales and plans. When on site, they were clean and respectful, overcoming little obstacles (caused by an old house) as they arose. The end result is some good looking, solid feeling wardrobes. I would thoroughly recommend Brothers Carpentry.

Steve and his team did an excellent job replacing our arched patio door and window frame, fitted perfectly and job was completed with a minimum of fuss, on time and on budget. Will be using Castlewood Joinery again - but now I have to get in line behind my neighbours!

Simon built a new gateway for the side of our property. His communication was excellent, workmanship to a very high standard and was accommodating to some small changes requested on the day. The information shared at the point of quoting also made it very easy to see what to expect and to decide to proceed. We were very pleased with Simon's work, would absolutely use again and recommend to others.

Simon responded very quickly to my enquiry and was able to do a 'short term fix' there and then to help improve the problem with my front door. He was then able to return to complete the two jobs swiftly and to a high standard (re-hanging of both an internal bi-fold door and an external front door). Price was as agreed. I would definitely contact him again for any further carpentry.
