I visited The British Queen with my friend, and while the pub is old, there was enough seating available. The food is really good – we had the mixed grill, chili chicken, and butter chicken, all of which were fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place for a satisfying meal.

This pub produces the most authentic Indian curry. The chef is a most amenable person, as is the pub landlord. The best dish, in my opinion, is the medium Chicken Jalfrazi. Good food in a great setting. The staff were very friendly and the place is kept clean which is a bonus. The beer is good and very reasonably priced which is a huge plus. The crispy chilli chips were definitely a highlight. The chicken wrap however was slightly underwhelming with a lack of flavour and filling. It was mainly just naan bread. I would definitely recommend coming here for the drinks as they are cheap. Overall a very pleasant experience and I would recommend for people to come here.
