Great independent cafe and my go-to brunch venue. Always busy, but the service never disappoints. Varied food menu and good-sized coffee.
Windowbox Café has a cozy, nicely decorated interior, especially charming with its festive touch before Christmas. It was warm and welcoming inside, but during our visit, there was an issue with water dripping from a faulty roof window, leading to part of the seating area being closed. Unfortunately, there was also a mistake with our order. Of the three meals we ordered, only one was brought out. It turned out the kitchen was closing, and they had overlooked the remaining two meals. While they did apologize and the chef quickly prepared the missing dishes, the mishap did impact the overall experience. Despite these issues, the ambiance was lovely, and it has potential to be a great spot with better attention to service and maintenance.
