A very contemporary venue that I thought looks pleasant, except that a long row of 2 person tables in the restaurant leaves people, including me staring at a wall, prioritising the amount of covers over a more pleasant experience. I rather thought that in the same vein, the food offerings were more about income for the restaurant than value for money for me. My scallops starter at £16.00 only managed 1 of a decent size out of 3, and my main fish course was less than an entire single fillet of sea bass for £25.00. Disappointed 😞

We went to Chapter, on recommendation of another restaurant owner, Yan, and we are so glad we did. The Sunday Lunch was absolutely amazing. I am vegetarian and usually my options are quite limited in some restaurants, but Chapter catered for both vegetarians and non- vegetarians really well. I had a mushroom pie which was so delicious, and the roast potatoes and gravy was impeccable. The atmosphere was also great- it was a lovely family environment, but quiet enough to enjoy. The place was also beautifully decorated and in a lovely location in Edgbaston. We are so grateful to Yan for recommending this place, and we would definitely visit again. Thank you to all the staff too- you were on point. 😊

This is one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! The service and staff were so lovely and we had a brilliant time! Will definitely be back!

First time attending Chapter for birthday celebrations after hearing good things and it did not disappoint! Upon arrival, we were greeted and decided to have a drink at the bar. From there, you can sample the great selection of drinks and see the open kitchen with chefs preparing the food to a high standard. It was also a good opportunity to get a view of the dishes available, which all looked amazing and helped us decide on what to go for. After finishing our drinks, we were seated and ordered our starters. The pork belly starter was absolutely amazing and melted in your mouth. The flavour and quality was outstanding and I can still remember the great taste. Moving onto mains, I went for the lamb, which again did not disappoint. We all ordered different mains, so there was a wide range on the table, which was visually stunning. I could not fault anything during my time here, the staff also went the extra mile and presented me with a birthday desert at the end which was very kind of them and added that final touch to my birthday dinner. This is fine dining to high standard, and I would recommend to anyone looking for a special place for the right occasion. I look forward to returning here and would recommend it to all.
