Great refurb of an old pub into a good British & Mediterranean restaurant. Very good customer service and food. We ate in the evening from the A La Carte menu, which was fab, and if thus anything to go by, the daytime set menu is the next to try. They open at 8 am. for breakfasts, too. Will return 👌

From the king George to the royal lion .. what a difference. Food is amazing , drinks are very reasonable priced. If you haven't been you don't know what you've been missing !

So there 10 adults 4 children nearly every one of us had something different , was cooked perfectly.presented suburb , staff was amazing service was outstanding defo will return just not sure which meal to have next carnt wait , price was great

Excellent breakfast. Great value at less than a tenner each, including hot drink. Friendly, accommodating server who offered extra bacon in place of the mushrooms and tomatoes my friend didn’t want. Went on a Sunday morning so very quiet. I remember it as the George pub and it’s a complete transformation into a classy looking restaurant. Dinner prices are high but if it’s as good as breakfast it might very well be worth it.
