I came to the cafe for the first time with my 15 month old. Having only been to Hitchin play cafes, I didn’t know what to expect but was so surprised to be greeted by the lovely owner Denna. The play area was clean and safe for babies, and more importantly, the coffee was perfect! There was a good variety of kids meals with clean high chairs. The bourbon brownie was UNREAL Lovely cakes and a warm atmosphere with plenty of friendly parents and grandparents. I will definitely be returning after such a great experience. Our new favourite cafe!

Belisily has become our home from home. 🩷 My daughter is nearly 2, and we absolutely love it here. The atmosphere is lovely and friendly, the food and drinks are great and not over priced at all. It's free entry (which is astonishing given that everywhere else charges), and it's the first place we've been where I felt like my daughter was genuinely safe running around and playing without me doing too much hovering. The outdoor area is really nice when weather allows with plenty of things to play with and little ride on toys, and my daughter was entertained for ages. Dena is the most wonderful, welcoming, down to earth person and mum you'll ever meet. We've booked the café for her 2nd birthday party (Very inexpensively, I might add) and I can honestly say I wish we'd been in sooner. Plenty of veggie and vegan options for snacks and drinks too. Nowhere else is as welcoming. I had a coffee while my toddler safely played for over an hour and it was glorious. Thank you!! 🧡

One of our favourite places to go! Warm friendly atmosphere with no entry fee. Allergy aware staff with a great range of food for my allergy kids. There’s a cute garden area in the warmer weather with seating and toys which my kids have enjoyed recently. Lovely play area with a great range of toys for babies to older kids. Even a games shelf, Lego and colouring for the older ones to sit up the table and enjoy. Great if you have multiple aged kids. I’ve had both my daughters parties here too and Dena has gone above and beyond to help. Definitely worth a visit!

We love coming to Belisily. The atmosphere is always lovely. The food and drinks are amazing. It is nice knowing your child is in a fun, safe place where they can play whilst you eat and drink. You can always see them from any table you sit at. The Afternoon Tea on a Tuesday is delicious 😋 and a lovely treat for me and my 2 year old daughter to enjoy together. I highly recommend this place. We love it.

It is a very nice little cafe with a nice, friendly atmosphere and a good selection of drinks and food options. The quality is really good across the board, with the coffee being very nice and the apple porridge I had being very tasty and wonderfully presented.

Superb little coffee shop, must be the best in Baldock for a serious flat white. I've sampled a couple of the cakes and they've been delicious - just as good as they look. The only negative thing to note is that it can be quite noisy with families and you can't always get a seat - but that's just because it's popular!

Best cafe in Baldock? At least! I walk from Letchworth twice a week, so at least. Amazing food and service. Delicious coffee and the menu is exceptionally well crafted and balanced. A must visit.

Tucked away in a side street in Baldock this delightful little coffee shop is a gem of a find. Serving delicious toasties and other tasty savoury delights not to mention a yummy display of sweet treats with a particular mention for the most amazing and light fluffy cinnamon buns. A really lovely selection of drinks are available too, my particular favourite is the flat white and coupled with a really friendly atmosphere and a very welcoming and attentive team Batch Fifty Two is definitely going to be one of my favourite go-to’s

Fantastic cafe, the service is exceptional. The young lady and young gent working on 28-01-25 are simply the best. They welcomed every customer with kindness, with a smile and very attentive to all the customers needs. The breakfast was so delicious, the best I've had in years, coffee was tasty and everything was reasonably priced. Thank you for your service. I'll definitely be back. x

Delicious brunch had today by both my husband and I. Everything was piping hot and cooked really well. Added salad and fruit complimented the classic and contemporary food. Would love to return.

I have been here many times now and the food is always excellent, the service is great, owners lovely, and there is a really nice atmosphere😊 Also they have a great vegetarian selection which is a massive bonus. Highly recommend 🌟

I always have really great experience. Enjoyed a tikka sausage roll and coffee with my partner in the week, and my son loved his (9.6 rated) chocolate chip cookie today which was really nice! I had a yummy latte!

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, the place was quite busy but we were able to get a table upstairs. We had coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cake, blondie and cookie - it was all really good. I noticed they have board games and colouring sheets available too.

Top notch BakeHouse and café with delicious food and drink combinations like no other place I have visited. If you have an opportunity, book an Afternoon Tea on selected Saturday and Sunday afternoons - you will NOT be disappointed. So glad this business is local.

Absolute Gem of a find... I wish I lived closer as this is in my top 3 of all time places to have breakfast! Everything is perfect, the decor, the ambience, the staff. Plus the food is 10/10 top notch! It was nice to tuck away into a quiet corner. But there is also lots of outside seating and other areas. Tip - the cafe is literally in the industrial estate opposite burger King, you initially think your in the wrong spot, then you see it.

A great place to grab a bite in Letchworth town centre. Gluten free food 100% fresh made early on the day. Also, the best gluten free carrot cake I’ve had. Totally recommend, with a nice cup of coffee, of course! 🥕 ☕️

This is an attractive cafe which is probably much more appealing on a bright sunny day than on a drizzly damp one like the one on which we visited. I imagine that the floor to ceiling windows on the pavement side are opened, letting light and sunshine in. Venues are always somewhat disadvantaged by being reviewed when the outlook is gloomy, unfortunately. The interior is cheery but the effect seemed a little half-hearted and the styling could have been stronger. The menu is pretty much what might have been expected but, unlike the decor, the presentation was a little over-elaborate which seemed to result in slightly higher than expected prices. We paid, I think, over £10 for two teas and one rectangle of cake. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

Just picked up a salad and spinach flat bread! Best salad I have ever had. The ingredients are fresh, you can tell and you have everything in the generous potions. Herbs, beans, artichoke, olives, peppers, cabbage, sun-dried tomoes. I'm a fan! The team behind the counter are also lovely and warm.

A cafe that is also a shop for organic products. A paradise for vegans and vegetarians. Great selection of organic vegetables. Display of vegan prepared food. Ecological cleaning materials. A selection of chocolate types suitable for vegans. Cute cafe with delicious coffee. You can order an assembled salad from the salads on display. Me and my vegan granddaughter, having the time of our life, together.

Great cafe and the best coffee in the town. You can buy tasty cakes that you can’t find anywhere else in the town. They also selling beautiful, very original cards. The cafe is always busy.

I'd give six stars for the atmosphere if I could. Such a cool place. Food is great and you can hire a boardgame while you eat. The shop has a great selection of cards, books, boardgames, wrapping paper etc. Always busy especially on weekends.

What a fabulous find. I have never seen such a delicious and extensive range of GF/SF/NF/DF/vegan cakes. The coffee and lunch were delicious. Another huge plus for us was the child insert and stool for the toilet. I don’t know why more places don’t include child inserts in their facilities - kids need to use the loo too!!

Nice cafe, food was excellent. Had a flat white and coffee and walnut cake. Nice location as well, especially on a sunny day. It's off the street a bit with a grass area and seating out the front. There's indoor seating too. Service was decent despite being quite busy, waited just under 10 minutes.

Good vegan options clearly listed on the menu with VE. We had vegan sausage roll and jacket potato with vegetarian chili (VE), smashed avocado, humus and vegan cheese. It came with side salad too. Very yummy. Decaf coffee and dairy alternative milks available. They do mention on the menu vegan cakes however we did not have the time for it this time round so will add an update when we do try them. Nice seating area both indoors and outdoors. Good service and great atmosphere too. Baby changing facility also available.

Despite having had to wait ridiculous amount of time for my order on a few occasions, I still like this place. It's is so cute and the food is good and worth it. Hope this cafe stays like this, I'll continue coming and recommending.

I have had the best burger ever today in this lovely cafe. The coffee was amazing and the staff were very nice. All for less than £10, very happy and I will be coming back again soon to try the breakfast as they looked so good.

The food here is always top-notch service and the staff are fantastic. My only small complaint was when I ordered two egg and bacon rolls to take away they were served in burger buns which I did not discover until I got to my destination.

Absolutely loved going to Star! Had an excellent breakfast (at around 2:15) and it sorted everything out! Would come back to try the multiple choices on the menu!

This is one of those gems that is hard to find in life. I am a frequent visitor, and have had no qualms thus far. Staff are always super quick, and even when it is chock full, I have never waited any longer than I could expect to. I understand why it can get so busy though: Coffee is beautiful (See photo, Oh My Gosh!!!) and the food is well worth the buck. Everything always tastes fresh, and I once spoke to the owner who told me the meat used in the sandwiches is from the deli itself, which is nice to know as you can see it is quality. 10/10 reccomend for anyone looking for a new locale. It is a dog friendly cafe!! Lovely atmosphere created by music and the cleanliness of the cafe (The staff seem to always be wiping tables and sweeping). Also for anyone like me with a sensitive tummy, Sandwiches can be made gluten free, and they have almond, oat, soya and coconut milk! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECCOMEND THEIR WHITE MACADAMIA NUT COOKIE OR ZAMBIONE CANELLONI FOR ALL MY SWEET TOOTHS! The spicy chai is also to die for, and the sandwiches, and the cappuccinos with cinnamon... (I have perhaps spent too much time eating here)

So good! Portion sizes so generous, I felt like I was robbing them! Most things were made in house - I was so impressed! Staff were just lovely. So friendly, I felt like I was part of the family! The ginger beets shake had real fruit in it - nice and gingery, not just juice like some places use! I would give this more than 5 if I could!

Brilliant tasty fresh food! My wife went here for lunch a few weeks ago and said she needed to come back with me - it was even better than she described! Wide selection of sandwiches and cakes and really friendly service. I will definitely be coming back!
