Hish is the real deal when it comes to making decent coffee. I live in St Albans and this is the better than anything I've had there. He blends his own roast and you can tell. If you have taste buds. Also he sells some incredible merch that someone you know will love. Get involved. UP THE HISH COFFEES!

Superb little coffee shop that serves the perfect blend of great coffee, warm atmosphere and that special something - soul ! Hish runs the place in a truly open and warm way. Each time I enter the shop there is a conversation with a diverse range of people from all over Harpenden. By the way, unusually for an independent coffee shop the decaf coffee is superb. A lot of independents are focused on the coffee but leave their decaf as an afterthought. Not this place !! Can’t praise it enough. Has made the commute so much better. !! John

We absolutely love Hish's coffee shop. The coffee is fantastic, the cakes and pastries are brilliant. You can even pick up things like birthday cards. Hish is so friendly and welcoming, and he's absolutely brilliant with our sons. They love visiting here whenever we're in Harpenden or getting a train. It has a lovely atmosphere, and is decorated beautifully. Business's such as this really do deserve to do well.

Such a cute little shop! So many wonderful unique gifts including these beautiful cards that I bought! Lovely to meet Hish and will definitely be returning soon!!

Lucky that my sister-in-law moved into flats opposite or we would'nt have found this coffee bar. The most friendly place in Harpenden and great coffee too--what's not to like!
