My daughter bought me the Gentleman's afternoon tea for Christmas. I used it today to celebrate mine and my husbands 30th wedding anniversary. Perfect.
Fantastic cafe with a lovely feel and helpful staff. We had 3 different vegetarian meals and they were all excellent. Finished off with an amazing slice of Cherry Bakewell cake, seriously the nicest piece of cake I've ever eaten 😁
A place of loveliness. The staff, the food, the cakes, the beverages. If you're going for brunch, be sure to treat yourself to a breakfast cocktail on the brunch menu. And don't skip the emporium shop either. Take a wander around, what I feel like is, a wonderful rainforest of echoing personalities.
Only popped in for late lunch treat, last week, as I had been let down/disappointed by another new lunch venue in town, and the Emporium was just the perfect antidote. First rate personal service received at the counter and when serving. Attentive, personable and polite, and also quite happy sharing what was available when asked. I chose their special butternut squash soup, homemade lemon cake and a decaf coffee. Bootiful....
Best bacon sarnie my partner has had in a long time! Delicious mocha and some vegan cake options.
