I grew up in Belgium so I'm use to have the best baked goods around me 😂 Jokes aside, It's my favourite patisserie in this area. I don't live around here but everytime I got a job not far, I always stop by... Just the smell brings back memories 😋
We came for breakfast on bank holiday on Monday, which was lovely. There was plenty seating in the garden, which was cute, but a little overgrown. The food was tasty, although a little pricey; in particular, one slice of toast with some scrambled egg and mushrooms for £10 seemed a bit much. I also didn't love that all food was seemingly served on a wooden chopping board.. not sure how hygienic this was. The service at the till wasn't cheery at all, bordering on rude, which was slightly off putting. However, the food was delicious and the coffee was good and I'd definitely pop in for a pastry again!
Very expensive but good quality food. The open kitchen adds to the atmosphere which is usually busy. Dog friendly, service somewhat lacking but you're not coming here to make friends....
