I booked an afternoon tea for 8 of us for a 50th birthday treat. Communication before the day was very good and the actual afternoon tea was amazing, very fresh with a great variety of sandwickes and cakes. The team went above and beyond to ensure we were all very well looked after, bringing us extra sandwiches and tea! I would highly recommend this lovely cafe overlooking the river for afternoon tea.

A beautiful relaxed setting tucked down the side of the Mill with a gorgeous river that created a great atmosphere. Tasty cakes and amazing sausage rolls! Well worth a visit. We will definitely return.

This is a little gem of a place! We sat outside in the sun and ordered several items off the menu. The team were all charming and helpful and the food was fast and tasty. The farmers plate, shakshuka and brioche breakfast buns were all fabulous. The smoothies were perfectly balanced - not too sweet and the cakes are 10/10. Our new fave spot! Be sure to get there before the kitchen closes at 3!

Love this place!! Set in an oasis of green and calm situated by the river serving scrummy local food... this is the perfect...coffee/lunch/cream tea venue. Very welcoming and friendly staff...highly recommend. Check their website for details of events.

Cute, dainty restaurant/cafe with the most lovely staff and an excellent menu! The cakes look amazing although I was too full to eat at the time, I picked some up for later in the day and am very much looking forward to eating them. The huevos rancheros was really good, I would recommend if you like mexican food.

Food was really nice, the bacon sandwich was great actually had a good amount of bacon in it. Coffee was nice and the garden was lovely. Would defo go back and try other stuff.

Having coffee and cake at Cool & Baker was a great experience. The place seemed run by few women who were rather welcoming and friendly. It was nicely clean and from entrance to the tables to the loo everything seemed nicely clean. Menu was good with affordable prices. Convenient place. Definitely recommended if you’re in the area.

The food is unreal. It is so delicious, there are no words for it. We loved a unique menu and being able to have something different for breakfast. The cake selection was also amazing and the whole meal was outstanding. The service is also very professional. Check the opening times, as per August 2024 they are open 4 times a week. The parking is 3 min walk away in a village car park. The whole village is wonderful. We did not reserve a table but it was almost full, so it is advisable to book it in advance. The place is kids friendly.

We’ve been a few times for breakfast and always amazing food. You wouldn’t leave hungry. High quality food and really substantial portion sizes. It’s great to have a different choice for breakfast. We’ve tried Spanish eggs, Scottish breakfast and avocado on toast. All delicious!

Always a good proper pot of tea and a great selection of cakes and bites to eat. Cake portions are very generous and I highly recommend the Dorset apple cake.

Good quality food. Presented well hot and tasty. Varied menu. Warm welcome friendly staff. Clean. Probably best to book at busy times there is additional seating outside weather permitting. Accepted our Scottish currency with no problems thank you x

Whenever I come down to Christchurch to visit my grandmother, I pass by Cuckoos to buy their takeaway cream tea sets so I can have tea with her. The scones here are absolutely delicious and my grandmother and I always look forward to sharing them. Thank you Cuckoos for making these special moments possible!

We visited Salisbury for the day and went here after reading recommendations from other Google reviewers. We weren't disappointed. Delicious cake and coffee, tea in a china teapot and dogs very welcome. Our dog Hank really enjoyed the complementary puppycino :) This cafe is tucked away down the side streets (not in the centre of Salisbury) and has a lovely outdoor space, especially on a sunny day.

In The Yard we found what we were looking for... a very comfortable, introvert-friendly quiet coffee shop that could offer us a good coffee and a dessert that's not overly sugary, but absolutely full of love and sweetness. The familiar atmosphere of the clean and spacious place is amazing and modest, we really appreciated the silence and energy, uncontaminated by mainstream loud pop music or rude strangers. The service was more than perfect, we felt respected and free to cut our own private space inside. I highly recommend this place for calm people that want to relax after lunch, alone or with their own beloved people, just drinking a hot drink with something sweet or spending more time reading or working remotely for a few minutes. If we'll come back to Salisbury, we'll definitely come back here.

What a gorgeous coffee shop, hidden away on a residential road we didn’t expect to turn the corner and find such a gem. So quirky with beautiful art everywhere. If you can get a spot on the sofa by the fire you’ve done well as it’s quite chilly upstairs. Flat white was the best I’ve had in months and would drive back to Salisbury just to have another. Rocky Road also fabulous and our bill was less than expected so all in all amazing - just a bit chilly.

A lovely little coffee shop, but it was fairly small inside, the tables nearest the front have seats pretty much on the windowsill. Lots of drink options but not as many for the very small kids (never confident they will finish anything we get them!) I think I paid about £20 for two adult drinks, two juices and a couple of slices of cake to share - not sure if that's good, I don't go to coffee shops enough to know the going rate! The cake was nice, a piece of caramel slice and a blueberry and lemon coconut cake. It was a nice stop to slow us down a bit whilst visiting the area.

Really gorgeous salad for lunch and decent coffee. Would definitely come back. Good choice of gluten and dairy free options too.

A nice but small cafe in Brockenhurst, serving all manner of delicious treats. Although I only stopped by for a coffee (which was great) all of their cakes and sandwiches looked fantastic. The cafe gets busy very quickly and only has a handful of tables, but there’s a reason why they are so busy. The staff are friendly and efficient and I will certainly be back to sample some of the lunch items on the menu.

We went for brunch and had the avocado on toast with halloumi. Food was delicious and staff very nice. Its very tiny inside and gets filled up very quickly. I would definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff and a nice welcome. We had the pancakes and they were scrumptious. We would definitely recommend a visit if you can but try and book in advance as it gets very busy.

What an amazing place. Best coffee in the area, food was delicious and staff were super nice. We came here every day while we are in our holiday. We tried their mocha and flat white which was so good, the brownies were delicious. We had breakfast as well, french toast, pancakes and shakshuka all were tasty.

Came here with the family and our dog. The Paddle is very dog friendly and the service was great. The coffee - excellent! And the food was really lovely. We took some of their cakes away - really worth a trip.

Great place most reasonably priced in the area and all our food/drinks were really good. All staff are friendly and the place is comfortable. Service was quick too. Definitely a great local spot and would come back again if we came to Fordingbridge.

Wow, what an absolute gem! Gorgeous interior with old beams. Fantastic coffee. Breakfast was amazing. They took some of my bacon back for extra crisping without making me feel awekward in any way for asking. Just the nicest staff and atmosphere. The breakfast punched way above it's price tag. Sausages weren't to my taste, bit too bready. I'm a fussy one tho, so that's probably on me. Definitely will come again.

I have cooked breakfast most times I come here. Every time it's cooked perfectly for me. even the eggs are always good and never hard. My family often try different things, but it's always consistently good. Well worth a visit if you're passing by!

Splendid hidden gem 💎 Stopped off for a fish finger wrap and my wife had 3 scrambled eggs on brown toast, both delicious and well presented with a smile. Perfect sea view just tops everything off.we will be back to get our steps in.

We stopped here close to closing time and the staff were great. They offered us the snacks we wanted and prepared them with no fuss. The food was great and the coffee was very nice. If you are here on the beach or just passing, stop here for a bite or drink.

We had the Friars Breakfast, I have a gluten intolerance and was very pleased that I could have everything that my husband had, with GF sausage & toast. It was all well cooked & nicely presented. Good value for money and a super view of the Isle of Wight. Will definitely be back.

Stopped off here for breakfast mid walk. Freshly cooked full English served up by friendly, attentive staff. Sipped on a freshly ground coffee, looking out the picture window, watching the world go by. Very relaxing. Outside seating too, when the weather's kinder and there are less seagulls.. Takeaway available too + ice cream on offer

Small but pretty garden centre. We went for the cafe, fry up is excellent, good quality produce & good value. Cake selection is decent. De caff tea was best we have had out

Have loved this place for years, even better now they've redone the toilets! Took my little boy here to see Santa Claus, amazing experience and the set up was lovely. Lunch afterwards in the cafe was as good as I remember it to be. Keep it the way it is please.

Beautiful cared for plants, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Plenty of free parking. Toilet facilities and a super cafe too. Well worth a trip.

This is Wolvercroft Garden Centre Xmas display of 2024. Absolutely brilliant place, great selection of plants and also a cafe with tasty coffee and food!.

We booked a room with a hot tub for our little mini moon. What a little gem. The garden is a beautiful little sun trap to sit in the evening, breakfast was lovely. Everything was included that you will need for your stay. The robes and slippers were a lovely touch. We intend to book again for our anniversary next year.

Just stayed here for a couple of nights, the room is great, staff have been fabulous and we have been really impressed with the food too, would definitely stay here again!

Lovely pub in the middle of the New Forrest. Great food and drinks. Dogs allowed with live music. Morning breakfast is a bit slow to come but very tasty when it arrived. Beer garden in the back and very reasonably priced
