This guy deserves more than 5 stars. Extremely professional and extremely friendly. I had 2 huge PAX wardrobes fitted opposite each other and a mirrored wardrobe in a different area of the room and an IKEA shelving unit. A huge job that was done within 2 days. Everything down to arranging the appointment and explaining even the most minute details is done with the customer at heart. Deffos recommend him to anyone. Will be using again. PS - even the way he organises his rubbish (empty boxes) makes it not even look like rubbish. 10/10 service.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Would highly recommend - We had LOTS of flat pack furniture to be built, and the price of Simon's services was such good value!!! Any mess was completely tidied up, and he even brings "inside shoes". Will definitely be using again in the future!!!

Mike did several jobs for me in one day from attaching mirrors, hooks and assembling some beastly flatpack furniture. He spent time in asking the right questions to provide an accurate and competitive quote. He kept in touch over the booking period, provided a clear date and arrival time. He arrived on time and did an excellent job. His communication skills, patience and manner were on point. I will come back to him for future jobs.

We’ve used Mike twice now and been extremely impressed. He first fixed up a kitchen cabinet that was in danger of falling off the wall, and since then has done various small jobs around the house that all make the house look a lot tidier and more ‘finished’. Fixing a tricky mirror to a wall, installing shelves, fixing up broken coat rails and curtain holdbacks, replacing parts on broken blinds, switching cupboard doors to open in more convenient directions: things that have needed doing for years, but which we never got around to dealing with. It’s been brilliant to hand the jobs over to him and see them completed efficiently and to a high standard. Mike is extremely reliable and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be using him in the future, and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Mike was incredibly professional from start to finish. He put up a bathroom cabinet, a couple of mirrors (one very heavy) and made my door shut again. He also advised me on another issue kindly. We have recently had a loft to gable extension on our 1930’s semi and family bathroom refurbishment. We have gone from a 3 bed with separate bathroom and toilet to 5 bed and 2 bath. It was our first major reno project so we were understandably nervous about choosing the right builder - especially given all the horror stories you hear out there. However, I felt compelled to write this review as we had a really wonderful experience with PJ Builders from start to finish and would happily/confidently recommend them to friends and family. We’ve already booked in for further work to be completed over the coming months. Paul and his team are hardworking, honest and reliable. Each of them showed care in our home - even tidying up at the end of each day. We were kept fully informed of what the plan for the day was at the start and end of the day so we knew who was coming and when. They were punctual and professional. Furthermore, they’re all a lovely bunch of people to speak to over a brew. Paul was always on hand via phone and site visits to make sure everything was running smoothly. Any hiccups, snags or issues were raised and rectified every time. Paul was also very patient with us when we kept adding on extras we wanted (e.g. all new internal doors, taking down a porch etc). We’re absolutely delighted with our new loft extension and very pleased that it all came in on budget too! The quality of the finish is wonderful as they have pride in their work. For example; Paul wasn’t happy with the finish on the guttering due to the height of the scaffolding (an issue I doubt I’d have noticed) so he had the chaps redo it until the finish was up to his standard. Overall, it’s been a great experience from beginning to end. For reference, we hired PJ Builders from start to completion and were happy with every stage. Including drawing up the plans. I’ll come back to add some photos once I’ve finished painting & decorating the new rooms. Thank you Paul and team!!!

Amazing Professional Service From Start to Finish Work Required Chimney Support Gallows Bracket, fit Flashing to window and Repair and install Lintel. I called PJ Builders off chance due to a crazy quote from another building company. PJ Builders were installing a Lift Conversion around the corner from my house and I just called the number on the side of the van. Within 24 hrs they had arranged Building Control and a team of builders to do the required work and the work started less than a week later. We have to thank Paul and his team for their dedication with the support to the customer. I would HIGHLY recommend PJBuilding services for a professional finish and customer satisfaction.

Mark arrived within just 5 minutes of the approx. time he said he would arrive. He very quickly realised what the fault was and got straight on with it. He was very thorough. Of course, we won't know for a day or so if his work has resolved the issue, but from his clear explanation of the work he carried we believe all will be well. Mark was very friendly and keen to explain all that he was doing.

Amazing! The gentleman came to my house to see what needed doing and he was so friendly and knew exactly what to do. When he did the job, it was very efficient and he left the work area clean and tidy. Had contacted so many people to do the work and no one seemed to want to do it. One chap arranged to do it and never turned up! But Odd Job Heroes were fantastic and willing to do it for me no problems at all! Highly recommend and already have another job I’m wanting them to do :)

We have used Krystian several times now to install 2 bathroom cabinets, to fix our toilet and to complete some pannelling/redecorating in the downstairs of our house. We have always found Krystian to be efficient, clean and honest. He always takes time to consult us on our opinion to ensure we are happy with any choices to be made. Not only that, Krystian is extremely good value and a lovely person. We already have a few jobs qued up to use his help again 😊. Krystian is responsive, friendly and does an excellent job for great value. Absolutely not a corner-cutter, he spent a lot of time with us explaining our options and the pros and cons of these options. He fitted shelves, a tv, a curtain rail, a fireplace beam and changed a kitchen tap. He even cancelled a job which we ended up not needing because of a change in our room design - most people would have done it anyway and took the money. Lovely guy, can't recommend enough.

Always very helpful staff! They let me wheel my bike into the shop as I forgot my lock. I came back to my bike after browsing to find that one of the staff members was guarding it as he was worried someone would take it! Apart from that kindness, they always help an inexperienced DIYer with their expertise.

Great store and nice staff. I just wish the opening hours were more sensible. If you are a working person the only time you can get to the shop is on a weekend.

I highly recommend Lee's craftsmanship and will definitely use his services again in the future. He takes great pride in his work and ensures it's to a high standard. He advised me all his work is guaranteed and any issues would be resolved (I can't imagine it will be required though). Lee also made great suggestions as I explained the work I wanted completing, this was really helpful.

Lee very expertly modified our new Cotswold Company bathroom shelf cabinet to fit over our shaver point. It looked far better than I envisaged. Lee used a laser level to make sure that the existing screw holes lined up when the shaver point was repositioned! What wonderful attention to detail! Thanks Lee!

Oliver fitted me in at short notice to paint two bedrooms (walls, skirting, window sills, doors etc.). Came on time with a colleague, both friendly and great guys, and completed the job within a day. Darren was extremely quick to respond and actually managed to do the repair the next day! If the weather had been wet he was very clear on the next date he could do the job. Very satisfied and highly recommend!

I asked Darren to make my old shed watertight again as roof was letting in water. Now its like new again and no problem in the wet weather. I also asked if Darren could attach wooden fence panels to an already existing metal railing fence as didn't want to lose garden or increase cost by adding new posts etc. In a nutshell job was done perfectly and price was good. Would definitely use Darren again.
