We had our bathroom completely redone and part of a bedroom with Berkhamstead builders. The work was done to an excellent standard in good time and with great communication. This included all aspects of the job - electrical work, plumbing, plastering, tiling, suspended ceiling and bespoke cabinets. We would highly recommend this service to anyone considering it.

I sought David's help when I needed to remove some fitted drawers from my bedroom as well as plastering over a popcorn ceiling. He is a great guy who I felt very comfortable having working in my house, and I was pleased with the end results.

Berkhamsted Builders installed a mezzanine to my home and the finished result is fantastic and very high quality. Extremely professional and friendly service, excellent communication, tidied up nicely at the end of each day and kept mess to a minimum. Mr Clayton is incredibly thorough, efficient, and great value. He did complex retiling of our ensuite, with absolute attention to detail in the tile layout, surface prep, clean up, fit shower screen, etc We will hire him again for sure.

I called after a piece of furniture broke on me on a Sunday. This was particularly inconvenient for me for it to break as I have a one bedroom flat with a small baby so I could not have the broken piece of furniture as it was as it was unavoidable and unsafe. I called this company and within the hour he’d come out and fixed it for me, really lovely guy and his wife works with the business to. Together they put my mind at ease as I was a bit panicky as I was stressed at the situation of what happened, fearing I wouldn’t be able to get it fixed. And he didn’t even charge me the whole fee as he had it done in no time and explained what had happened d how to avoid it happening again. I will definitely will be using this company again when I move house to have all my new fixtures and fittings done a single woman can’t do on her own. Thank you for rescuing me!

Rear garden landscaping & driveway Jamie and his team completed a new front driveway with grey tegula block paving, demolished a raised patio area and replaced it with a new grey porcelain patio and garden path. They also replaced a second patio on a higher level, again with porcelain tiles bordered with railway sleepers. They replaced sandstone dry stone retaining walls throughout with railway sleepers and erected a 6-foot fence to one side of the garden and a new garden gate. Our garden is quite steeply sloping, and it certainly wasn’t an easy job. Jamie was very knowledgeable and helpful during the planning stage and came round to discuss our options a couple of times to make sure that we were happy with the plan. He suggested changes we would never have thought of which proved to be very effective. Once the job was finished, he came to check everything and make sure all the snagging was completed properly. He followed up a couple of weeks later with a phone call to make sure we were still happy with everything. Which of course we were. The team were very skilful, professional, and polite. We couldn’t fault any of their work and they answered all our questions as they went along when we were unsure of anything. Nothing was too much trouble, and every part of the job was completed to perfection. We would have no hesitation in recommending Jamie and his team. We will definitely use him again if we have any future projects and have recommended him to all our friends and family.

Jamie and his team did a fantastic job at our home. They were hired to build a path & patio, a shed base, establish planting bed (including planting straight pleached trees) and erect a trellis at the front of the house - they did this all in just 3 days. Jamie was communicative and flexible, and where things needed to be adjusted in the plan (the plot was uneven, the access difficult and demanding neighbours) he was straightforward and easy to deal with. We are really happy with the end result. Would highly recommend Jamie and his team.

Ginge has been a godsend to us since we moved into our new home in Letchworth. We had a tight timescale to renovate our house and he went out of his way to make it possible for us. Since then he has been our go-to for any jobs we need doing. He has given us great advice and is always honest about what he can't do - the great thing is when he can't do it he knows someone competent who can. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Matt and team were extremely professional, helpful, knowledgeable, meticulously organised and all of our neighbours were very complimentary over how respectful they were during the building works. I used Matt and Bruce and the team to build my extension recently which was a much bigger job than I'd anticipated. Throughout the whole process the entire team were easy to work with. Matt is so responsive and considerate and project managed the entire build for me, managing all the different trades involved seamlessly.
