Ed has just finished applying splashback in my parent's kitchen and utility and has done an excellent job. Quoted the price in a few days and did the work to a high and precise standard within a couple of weeks. They are very pleased with the result and we would definitely recommend him!

Ed has done a few jobs for me now, from shed building, to pergola making, to house painting. His work is always top quality, he communicates great and his prices are more than fair. Have recommended him to friends and family who have felt the same.

Joel is a very clean and hard working Tradesman. We use him regularly, as he always prompt in quoting and doing the jobs we ask to a high standard.

Joel did a fantastic job putting up three sets of Venetian blind's, a curtain pole and a wall mount for our TV. He arrived promptly and competed the work within a few hours. His work was professional, neat and tidy. We would definitely use him again and recommend him.

Joel has just completed our garden…... beautifully laid decking, regrouting the tiles so they now look brand new, laying sleepers and even making a wooden arch to fit perfectly across our path. The guy is a genius with a wonderful cheerful attitude, wouldn’t hesitate to use him again 😄

This was, by far, the best experience we’ve ever had with tradesmen. Rob and his team were an absolute delight to host in our home for the week, and the quality of work is outstanding. Their work ethic, professionalism and attention to the details makes them stand out from the rest, and we felt like it was friends working in our home. Sam has just completed an impressive job on the internal painting of my house, including the repair of several settlement cracks, some quite large (it's as if they never existed!) He is a very hard worker and does a pristine job. He is also a very pleasant person and has been accommodating to my requests for various smaller jobs around the house, tackling them with efficiency and good humour. Sam is a very hard worker and his work is of the very highest quality. I would recommend him to anyone to do a very good job. I had painting, slabs re-setting, and gutterings to alter and he did it all very quietly and with no fuss. A very nice young man. We appointed James in January 2024 to extend our separate kitchen & dining rooms, turning them into a light and airy open-plan kitchen and living space. James is extremely efficient, polite, and respectful. Working with a 1930s house it was inevitable that there would be some structural challenges, but James worked with us, keeping us informed and involved as we devised solutions together. His team are all very polite, deliver work of excellent quality, and clearly enjoy their work and working together. As a result, I was able to continue working from home for much of the project, which saved us considerable expense. Working with James meant that we did not have to project manage the work - he has all the contacts you need - tilers, decorators, suppliers of windows, electricians, plumbers etc. We would definitely recommend James and would happily work with him again.

James and his team have done it again! Kitchen design is from Yanni at Howdens, who was excellent. Andy, the carpenter who works with James did a wonderful job installing the kitchen and wardrobes. James and his team have made a wonderful job of our loft conversion, although it’s much more than that. Upstairs, we now have a lovely additional double bedroom and large bathroom and the changes to the hallway and staircase are fantastic. There have also been changes to one of the rooms downstairs, which is much better now the chimney breast is removed. We have a new front door and the whole roof has been retiled. The dormer blends in really well and we love our new round window. Overall, its created so much more space and the finish is first class. We couldn’t be happier. Everyone involved has been highly professional and polite. Importantly, communication with James has been excellent throughout. His monthly invoicing is very clear and easy to understand. We have no hesitation in recommending James Newsam Construction to anyone looking for a high quality building company.

Great experience working with Ellis. He has a "can do" approach, he charges fairly and he won't leave you with an unfinished job to figure out yourself. Great timekeeping, he cleans up any mess before he leaves and he is good at what he does. Very easy to work with and you can be confident the job will get done with a good finish.

We highly recommend Ellis. I’m the 1st to admit I have very high standards. Ellis has impressed me so much, that he is now definitely my go to on any other projects or problems I might need help with. We’ve had an issue where rain water kept flooding our kitchen. We’ve invested so much time, money and effort to no avail. But our luck changed once we approached Ellis. After some thorough investigation, he managed to find the problem areas. Due to the severity of the problem, he was quick to resolve the issues. He is a genius, as he has managed to achieve where 3 companies before him failed. He is also a clean and tidy worker and is very approachable.

Ellis supplied and fitted a new side gate, of excellent quality and dug out an old manhole cover and surround, then cemented in a new surround, filling in holes found when digging out the old one. Trevor advertises as a handyman, but he is much more than that. He is a precision handyman. He always plans his work carefully, and then executes that plan with great accuracy. He has done 5 jobs for us now, the latest was the complete installation of a kitchen. The kitchen was from a mid-range supplier, Wren, but thanks to Trevor's attention to detail it looks like a kitchen that would have cost twice the price.

What a nice knowlegable guy. Trevor came at short notice and fitted a floating console unit, hung a picture and levelled off some seriously off level cupboard doors. I could not be more pleased with what he did, the way he works and how respectfully he treated my property. Highly recommended.

Trevor provides a fantastic service. He is very professional, but also friendly, which is important when you've go someone in your house. He came and put in 3 shelves in my airing cupboard, fitted around my water tank and he did a great job. Wasn't sure I would be able to get 3 shelves, but he managed it and they look awesome. Bit late with the review, but like many others I was very impressed. Great work repairing our fence & garage. Really polite, helpful and explained everything in detail. He even popped back to return the cup from a brew I made him. Marvelous.
