Johan recently completed some work for us to locate the source of a water leak in our downstairs WC and repairing water damage to our internal walls and timber work. We are very pleased with the job that Johan has done for us and he was really good at explaining things to us as he was doing the work. Johan was very prompt in responding to my request and skilled in many areas. I requested him to decorate my downstairs loo. He made me a bespoke boxing in of pipework which was removable incase of any future plumbing problems, with tiling and decor. I was pleased with all his work and although I thought his day rate was high once I considered the skill and time involved I realised this was a fair price for the work undertaken. He did also give me a time frame in which it would be completed minimum to maximum which is unusual for workmen. This took him 2 days and am pleased with the result.

I contacted Johan regarding boxing in my old fireplace and making a bespoke stud wall to cover under the stairs and create a media section. He was extremely professional, kept me upto date on times and days and discussed design ideas taking onboard my needs. The finished products exceeded all my expectations, the craftsmanship was simply superb and the cost was extremely reasonable, given the attention to detail, and skills involved. Every aspect of work carried out to perfection, plumber and electrician visits co-ordinated effectively, achieving smooth running and the place was tidied up as much as possible each day. Also, Dan's expertise on what accessories to buy was invaluable. Price was very fair.

He was recently able to fit numerous fittings for our baby's bedroom and put together a toy at short notice, working well after hours with precision, care, and timeliness. While having building work done is not an easy process, Ben, James, Chris, Jaz, Tom, Phil, and all the guys who did work on our loft conversion have been fantastic. Albert has been absolutely fantastic in the service he has provided. We have had all external windows, doors and patio doors mastic’d. I called for an urgent installation of a new cooker, after my old gas hobs abandoned me. This was a non standard installation, because the cooker was a different size of the previous one and needed to fit between two units of my kitchen, which needed to be moved. I am very happy with the job - they have been responsive, organised, punctual and very reliable. I will definitely call them again in the future for small and big projects in my house!

Simon's helped me with a lot of work on my new home, from fitting flooring, and sorting out the electrics to devising and creating the most ingenious storage solution for my outdoor gear - I cannot recommend him enough. He's really approachable so I don't feel stupid asking questions, and his experience and knowledge means that he's able to come up with ideas and solutions I wouldn't even have considered. He always explains why he's recommending what he suggests, I've never had anyone beat him on quotes and I've always been impressed with the quality of his work. My gear room now looks more like a Swiss Chalet than a Sheffield basement!

Simon did a great job putting up a curtain pole for a heavy thermal door curtain. He is professional and friendly and made sure that I was happy with the job. He also did a short repair of a light fitting, which was very good of him, as I had not arranged this in advance. I'll definitely be asking Simon when it's time to start on that ever-increasing list of jobs that need attention.

Lucky and Son fitted a 17ft (5m by 3m) by 10ft metal garage which required bolting to the ground. Also, the garage assembly required 100s of screws to be fitted.
