My first experience at the salon was fantastic. I had a longwinded gabble on the phone whilst booking as my dad was going into hospital. They remember all of this and the first question I was asked was “how is your dad” I was astounded that they remembered! This is the massive positive of using a local family run business! I went in for a cut and layer service and my hair has never felt or looked healthier!! Laila was more than friendly and guided me through what she was doing while also giving me tips on how to better take care of my hair and the products which would cater to my hair type and length, which I found really useful. She was guided by Leah who was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Leah made sure Laila was using the correct techniques as well as checking each step along the way which made me feel confident throughout my appointment.

10/10 experience. First time coming to Janet Bests and can’t thank Leah enough for the time and effort she put into getting the red out of my hair and getting me back to my blonde and black. She fully explained everything she was doing and made me feel super comfortable. This was all done in one day was well.

I went with my mum for our first appointment - they were so friendly and warm! My mum is a little nervous about hair dressers (she has had bad experiences in the past!) The team were incredibly personable and listened to her hair concerns - explored all the products which could help and gave her an excellent experience

Well , what can I say ! This was my first visit! From the minute I walked through the door of this hidden gem , I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome . This beauty salon , is amazing ! I wish I had known about this place sooner . Amazing ! Simone, wow ! She was super professional, set me at ease and the way she dealt with my treatments was amazing. Upon leaving, other staff members were so lovely as well. I couldn’t recommend this place more if I tried . They were so lovely , kind and friendly. I would definitely go back here. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming and made me feel welcome as it was my first time. Simona (who did my facial) was lovely and Ali was really good and took the time to assess what problem areas I have and target them in the massage. I will definitely book again.

It was the first time Simona has done my nails today and all I can say is wow. My nails feel and look amazing and they very badly needed some tlc. Thank you so much Simona, you are such a true professional and a gorgeous person inside and out. Can’t wait for my next visit 😘

Unbelievable experience every time I go. I sit in the chair every time with no worries or anxiety. I tell Parees to do what she thinks is best for me and my hair and I always walk out in love with whatever she has done. I have been going to Parees for years and will continue to do so. Along with all of her lovely staff, you are made to feel so important and comfortable. They will do anything to ensure your salon experience is 5 stars every time. By far the best salon around! I’ve been seeing Parees for over a year now, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. I first came to her when my old salon kept cancelling on me, and Parees managed to fit me in for a full balayage with just an hour’s notice!! What truly sets this salon apart is Parees herself. She not only works magic on my hair, making it look and feel incredible every time, but she also creates such a welcoming and supportive environment. As a former apprentice myself, I immediately noticed how well she treats her staff. She takes the time to teach and encourage them, which speaks volumes about her character and dedication as a business owner. I also have sensitive skin, and Parees always goes out of her way to make sure I’m comfortable. On top of all that, the salon itself is stunning, with such a relaxed and great vibe. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

What a FABULOUS salon! A massive thank you to the amazing ANTONIO & the rest of the team at RMUK. What can I say? Antonio understood the brief & perfected my hair! (I have been to many hair salons in London and have spent hundreds, and hair stylists there have never achieved what I was looking for). Antonio is incredible & I would highly recommend him. I'm half asian with naturally dark brown/black hair, for years I have struggled to find a hairdresser who could transform my hair with a balayage making it looked sunkissed with golden tones (think JLO or Negin Mirsalehi) but Antonio transformed my hair that day, and for 1000% whenever I am back in the UK I will be booking Antonio. The whole salon is stylish, modern and gorgeous too. I love the mini bar, sofa and outdoor seating area - what a lovely salon. Grazie mille to Antonio & the RMUK team!

Got my hair blow dried by Ellie, it was the most relaxing and beautiful experience I've ever had! Literally was about to fall asleep 😭. My hair looked beautiful than ever and she even added a hair oil after to seal it down! And got heat protection before using any heat device😍😍😍😍

Had a problem with my hair and it got rectified as quick as possible!. It feels like you are at a spa here, Antonio did a perfect red balayage on my black hair. Definitely recommend!. Everybody is very kind and respectful, from the receptionist who is super sweet to anybody who walks in and the hairdressers themselves!.

Just visited the salon for the first time and booked a same-day appointment with Tim. I couldn’t be happier with the result! This is, without a doubt, the best money I’ve spent in a long time—worth every penny. Tim is truly a master of his craft, and my only regret is not booking sooner. My new haircut is a head-turner, and I feel absolutely beautiful!

Parastu is an incredibly talented lady. My first time here was actually an off chance but since discovering her for about a year now I haven’t gone elsewhere for my nails. Her attention to details, skilful and friendly personality is top chart. Thank you for always being so accommodating, for the cuppa and biscuits too ☺️

Had my hair trimmed this morning. Ive got really long hair and didn't want to loose the length. Loved the outcome and she understood exactly what I wanted and also gave tips on what would look better. My hair feels much more healthier now.

I've been to Y&R only a handful of times for gel nails but it's become a firm favourite. Parastu is quick but meticulous and offers advice when I'm stuck between two colours. Great little venue with affordable prices, what's not to love.

I’ve been a customer of the Salon for years, in fact since the day they opened. I woulda’t go anywhere else for my hair cutting, colouring. I trust Michelle implicitly and was shocked to see such a negative review from a previous client. All I can say is the client must have been having a bad day. I have my nails, eyebrows and massages done with Fran also all of which I can honestly say is always done to perfection. I am grateful to have them as my beauty team and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Book with confidence 😊

I went today to Chelsea for a good cut & colour on my hair after not having it cut for 1 year due to breakage and a lot of damage from bleach , im blown away with how amazing my hair looks it’s like a new head of hair I can’t believe it! You would never know it had any damage what so ever! It’s so soft and a lot more manageable too , Chelsea takes a lot of time and is very precise! Absolutely amazing wouldn’t go anywhere else now! Also she is so lovely & welcoming, Thank you Chelsea!!! And for the fab brew & biscuits X

Went in today for a full wax by Afsaneh, she was lovely and made me feel really comfortable. I was nervous and kept wriggling but she was absolutely lovely, I felt relaxed and not at all uncomfortable. The place itself is lovely and decorated well. I will definitely be going again.

Amazing wax service, i had my back done, and the staff made me feel very comfortable as been male I was a little nervous at first, but the whole experience was relaxing, friendly and also located in the central Leeds area ideal from my work place.

Booked in here last minute before my holiday. I’ve never done anything with my brows prior and they came out looking stunning. Really happy with my experience and will be recommending this place to friends and family. Cute dog too!
