Finding Ama has been a breathe of fresh air for me. I am 8 years into my locs journey, and was with the same Loctitian from start. After she became unavailable, I was looking for a new Loctitian to look after my locs, went to a few in the interim, with mixed results. Then I stumbled across Ama on Facebook, saw how creative she was with styling and thought I should give her a go. Oh boy I couldn’t have picked better. Last Saturday I was booked in and the results couldn’t be more impressive. For the first time I have a style that I truly love, she has done a tremendous job. She is very friendly, easy going, and really passionate about what she does, I do not see myself going elsewhere at this point. She is truly good and great at what she does! Thank you so much Ama!

I have had locs for 18 months and used Ama for the first time as my previous loctian moved back to Manchester. Ama did not disappoint. Ama is very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of advice on how to look after my hair. I also brought Ama’s oil which smells lovely and has been keeping my hair nice and soft. Ama also styled my hair for the first time, which everybody has complimented on. I will definitely be coming back in 3 months time for my next retie.

Ama has a wealth of knowledge about locs and does not advocate putting in lots of products in your locs compared to other locticians. The place is clean, comfortable and warm! Ama gives 1 to 1 appointments and there is no waiting. Ama is reliable and the only woman i trust with my locs. 10/10 service everytime.
