A lovely welcome every time. The staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable. Matt is an excellent stylist and I love watching him work. He knows me well enough now to do just what I want - but he always checks in case I want something different! It’s very therapeutic to have my hair done in the salon, a real treat. Amber has literally transformed my hair into something amazing. Amber is friendly and made me feel comfortable straight away. I wasn’t sure how short I wanted my hair at first but I am so happy with my cut. Definitely would recommend this hair salon to anyone! :)

I can't rate this Salon any higher, just amazing! Bethany and Theresa chatted to me with advice first before I booked my appointment. I happened to do a big mistake with a hair colour change and nothing was too much trouble from Bethany with my hair. The end result is outstanding and I'm so very happy after my colour re-correction. Theresa did my hair on Saturday for a wedding, and I couldn’t have loved it any more! They were so lovely, and totally understood that I didn’t want a super structured look, but something more natural and fun and she completely went beyond anything I had in mind - just amazing talent.

I had the most amazing experience at my hair appointment today! I went in for the Fusio Dose Kerastase Treatment followed by a haircut, and it was exactly what my damaged hair needed. The appointment started with a heavenly head and neck massage that instantly helped me relax—it was such a wonderful touch. The treatment itself was phenomenal; my hair already feels so much healthier and nourished. And then came the haircut—Amelia, she did an incredible job! She truly understood what I wanted and worked her magic to bring my vision to life. I can’t thank her enough for her attention to detail and care. I was so impressed with the results that I booked another treatment with Amelia before leaving the salon. I’m already looking forward to it because this was by far the best treatment I’ve had. I have been going to Robin James for 12 years because of its quality and consistency. Aveda colours are also very kind to the hair. Joanne has been my hair stylist since she qualified. She really cares about her work and takes pride in doing a really good job. She is talented and thoughtful and fun to spend an hour or two with! I totally recommend her services without reservation.

I had the lovely hairdresser Mea do a full head of highlights on my hair. Such a comfortable environment and all the stuff made sure that you got something to drink and was looked after. The hair turned out beautifully. Would highly recommend.

I have been a client at Pure Poundbury for many years and have got to know the team very well. I receive a range of treatments and always come away feeling happy and nurtured. Yesterday was an update for my nails. Brittany is just the right shade of Pink to uplift my spirits. Thank you Steph I always enjoy a catch up while you work on my nails. When I visited this site I was saddened and somewhat appalled to see a negative message. I don't think this is the vehicle to write such messages. It came across as vindictive and I would question if it was initiated by a young girl. A review needs to be honest but a rant is a very different matter. All I wanted to do when I decided to post a review was comment about my Nail treatment at Pure and the professional standard of the Staff. The staff are always very friendly and immediately offer you a drink on arrival. It is an oasis of calm for the stressed! The rooms are well maintained and there are some excellent treatments. I especially like the the Anti-aging Caci which I receive once a month with Kate and Chrissie.There are also excellent monthly offers and this month I have taken advantage of a 10% discount on a block of Caci treatments. Which is a good saving. Over the years I have seen many apprentices start their career in this salon. It's a challenging time at 16 joining the workforce. Expectations may differ but I would have said from observation and Dorect knowledge as an ex Secondary School teacher that it a very supportive team at Pure and a young trainee can learn a lot from all the combined experience. Thank you Pure you have always provided an excellent service and I can thoroughly recommend you to new clients.
