Ordered takeaway from here. Food was really good , got a mixture of rice, noodles with green curry and chilli chicken. Nothing was greasy only abit of fat on the meat in the special fried rice. They did forget the curry sauce in our order, but will check everything next time when delivered, as will be ordering from here again

First time trying here and I would go again. The service here like mentioned on other reviews is second to none. The food is also great, every course/dish is unbelievably piping hot so you know it's all very fresh. All members of staff take a lot of pride in their work here which is very refreshing to see these days. The only negative is that prices are rather high which would be okay if food was reflective of this however the rice in both rice dishes we had was a bit too stodgy as if it had a bit too much starch remaining. I have been to other places that suit this price range and unfortunately sweet basil valley fall just short of this. However it's not to say it's a good place to visit as it definitely is. I will be returning.

My friend spoke highly of this place and took me there during my visit in Leeds... And I'm glad he did! From the moment you walk in you feel welcome and you get the sense that you are about to be looked after...The service was very attentive throughout the evening. The food was absolutely magnificent... Every single dish. To my surprise (in a place like this) I had one of the best Malbec wines ever. Well furnished and clean environment. It is obvious that the owner has paid a lot of attention to the overall detail... Which explains a full restaurant on a Wednesday night. I visited again after 5 years approximately and my experience was as great as before. Congratulations - Keep up the great job you are doing!

The food here is delicious and fresh, we shared a whole crispy duck between a few of us and the portions are great too. It’s rare to find great service nowadays, but this was brilliant traditional service and your glass is never empty. We dined in a group of 12 and they coped really well with us on a busy Saturday night.

Such a good Chinese. Great flavours, not too greasy or salty just right. Nicely cooked food. Service is great. Staff are so friendly and the speed at which food is prepared and served is great. Slightly on the expensive side but worth the money.

We had our final family meal together here last night before my brother went back to Canada, it was amazing, the food was superb the staff were amazing and there was a lovely atmosphere. We will be back very soon. Just wish we hadn't forgotten our phones so we could have taken photos, oh well we will just have to go back for another meal to get some and share. 😄. Updated. 26/11/21 So back again and photos to share, another amazing night and food. We had a great night as a Graduation meal due to not being able to make it to the formal one. Il piacere made up for it for us.

We visit on a regular basis and certainly on the Tribute nights and have become friends with the owners and staff. Yesterday we were out in Leeds with family and then met up with family in Yeadon We ordered a takeaway from il Piacere and all we can say is WOW Hot, tasty and very generous sizes We certainly recommend you try the takeaway menu if you feel peckish whilst enjoying a film - you won't be disappointed!!

Very nice restaurant with great staff. Really enjoyed our meal, everything was cooked very nice. The meat was tender and juicy. It had nice flavour although most things tasted very similar. The kids meal was a good portion. The staff were really nice and made us welcome and kept our daughter entertained. They had nice music and the place is warm and welcoming. Unfortunately it is cash only and the soft drinks were £5 per pint.

Absolutely adore this hidden gem on Yeadon High Street. Food is gorgeous and portions are amazing. Lovely waitress who is happy and willing to help when required. Can't wait to go back for my 3rd time soon when I visit.

Had an amazing meal here, the quality of sushi was excellent, the service friendly and attentive, and the restaurant smart and clean. The all you can eat menu is excellent value for money, we went for sushi but also tried a Thai curry which was exceptional, so whether Japanese or Thai, the food will not disappoint. We will definitely be coming back, how great to have such an exceptional restaurant on the doorstep to save a visit into Leeds

Genuinely wonderful; shocked that this place isn't always packed. The care taken making the cocktails was wonderful, and all of the drinks were delicious. The food was also fantastic, and felt very authentic. The inside itself was incredibly impressive. The small shop front doesn't let on to just how large this place is inside, and each corner is decorated to fit the atmosphere beautifully. Even the bathroom felt like a nice hotel's would. Very highly recommend for cocktails and Japanese food!

Absolutely amazing food & service. We used to visit previously when the business was ‘Maki Zanmai’ - it’s now ever better than the previous restaurant! The Sunday buffet is amazing & we can never understand why it isn’t packed out! The server is fabulous and times the dishes being brought out to the table perfectly. The Sushi & Sashimi is incredibly fresh and can be seen at the counter while entering the restaurant. The sit-down all you can eat buffet is £25pp & extremely good value for money. We will be back!

Had a fantastic dinner with friends here. Thai prawn sashimi appetizer, seafood , pork, beef cooked in Cantonese style were super yummy. The cocktail and mocktail were amazing. Thumbs up.

Woke up to discover no power to any of the sockets in the house. Called and described the issue. The response I got was a diagnosis of the possibe problem by being walked through steps to check the electrics. Before arrival was called and informed of a ETA and they arrived promptly. They systemactically went through what might be causing the issue discounting possible issues. Result was a fix, efficiently and professional completed. Advised each step of the way what was been done why. So gave confidence in the work. The price charged for the work was reasonable and the quality was of an extremely high standard. I would highly recommend Flora Electrical Service to anyone. It can be sometime difficult to find reliable trades people and I will be keeping their details in my back pocket.

Our boiler wasn’t working - no display, not turning on, nada. I rang Flora Electrical at 6pm and they were with us within 20 minutes. Absolutely lovely guys and obviously super knowledgeable and passionate. Fixed the issue really quickly and Paran gave us some advice/knowledge for going forward. We will definitely be using for all of our electrical needs in the future!

I recently hired Bobby and his team] to upgrade two fuse boards and handle the electrical work for my loft conversion, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, [he/she/they] demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise. The upgrade to the fuse boards was completed efficiently, and he took the time to explain the process, ensuring I understood the benefits of the new system. The work in the loft conversion was equally impressive— they worked meticulously, ensuring everything was safe and up to code. Communication was excellent throughout the project, and Bobby was always punctual and respectful of my home. I would use again!

Very polite and professional, as you were working side by side with other trades people. Can't thank you enough for explaining/helping me through each step of the electrics. All new relocated sockets (for white goods (plus extra sockets)), switches, ceiling lights and outdoor light. Not a wire in sight now, unlike the old kitchen and pantry you first seen. Recently I required a quote regarding electrical testing to be carried out on a property and a EICR to be completed accordingly before I proceeded with purchase of this property. I contacted Bobby from Elecsafe Services Ltd and was really pleased with the service from beginning to end. Bobby and his team were honest, professional, reliable and super helpful. It was great and reassuring to see that they were accredited by the CPS scheme and NAPIT. I was really pleased with all aspects of the electrical testing carried out, which resulted in the conclusion that a full electrical rewire was required on the property due to finding a low insulation resistance (IR) across the existing circuits, fuseboard requiring relocation and various additional reasons. Bobby explained why this was required, ensured to cover all minor details and explained this in a method that was easily understandable. I explained that I would require a quote for the electrical rewire, which again Bobby consulted me on my requirements, completed a quote efficiently and was happy to answer any queries that I had. It was noted that during Bobby and his team being on the property, they found found some issues and resolved them for the seller, whom in turn realised the great job that they were doing, was so confident in their expertise and employed them themselves for another job! I would strongly recommend them for any electrical job, be it big or small! Thanks Elecsafe Services Ltd. Great job!👍🏽

We ended up at this pub as we were staying locally due to a flight from the airport the next morning. The other pub up the road was terrible, so we quickly found this one - what a difference! We went for Sunday Lunch 3 adults 2 children. They staff are amazing. So helpful. The food is so fresh & hot. 2 adults had chicken with stuffing wrapped in bacon. 2 large pieces each. Cane with Roast carrot roast parsnip 4 large roast potatoes and a mix of cabbage carrot green beans & courgettes. A very large Yorkshire Pudding. Lots of gravy. We ordered a side of Cauliflower cheese. There was so much we took over half of this home. 1 adult got the same but roast beef. He said it was the best he had had in years. The kids had chicken nuggets chips and beans but both requested a Yorkshire Pudding and pigs in blankets. Again we ended up taking some home. They kids had chocolate cake & ice cream for deserts. With drinks about £90. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you. Lesley

As with many other Wetherspoons pubs, there is a lack of atmosphere. However, the selection of quality beers, at exceptionally cheap prices is fantastic (a pint of Saltaire Cascade at £2.63!). Also, although the food is generally basic, I recently had the ‘new to the menu’ Ramon Noodle dish; this was excellent, particularly when adding the sliced chicken breast; wonderful flavours, perfect noodles and veg in a delicious broth; this dish could easily be served in a good restaurant - accompanied with a quality beer for less than £9, one can’t argue with that! The service is always excellent, the staff are welcoming and friendly.

Popped in mid week after work with friends from work. They had a beer festival on, with a huge range of beers to try. Ordered food, the new shawarma wrap meal. Food and pint were less than £10. Great price and lovely quality. Food came quick and serviced was exceptional. Very friendly service, Rachel the barmaid was doing a great job considering how busy it was and how rude some of the other patrons were being. Would happily come back again.

This is a place we Bob into every couple of weeks. The beer is great value and the food is good value too. Where it excels is the staff, friendly, hospitable and excellent customer service. I ordered a veggie wrap and unfortunately was given a meat one. This was rectified with minimum fuss in a very satisfactory way. The young man who dealt with it is a credit to the place. Thanks 👍🏼

Having been here several times I’m astounded to read the one star reviews! The food has been spot on every time. I do however normally order the Pizza. The staff are lovely and getting sweets at the end is a great idea for kids and adults. The place is basic but that’s why I like it. Prices are fair. If you want fried cheap food then go over the road to Spoons.
