Alot better than their previous place that's a few miles down the road. Easy to find and plenty room to spin an artic around. Forks driver is spot on and unloaded the wagon with no problems. New building looks clean and tidy and very presentable.

My boiler of 22 years packed in. Lee came round the day I rang him and took a look and the advice was to replace it as mine was so old the parts needed were likely to be now obsolete. He did offer to have a look though. He also gave me a quote for a new combi boiler which I was put under no pressure to go ahead with and was given time to think about the quote which was very reasonable and I chose to take this option. One week later, I now have a new combi boiler. Ollie and Jamie arrived on time and fitted my new boiler, taking away the old one and the hot water tank out of the airing cupboard. They were brilliant lads, very professional and very clean and tidy. They also made sure it was all working and connected to my new hive thermostat and that my app for hive on my phone was working to control the new boiler. Couldn’t be happier. House is warm again and the hot water is instant 24/7 and seems to run faster than it did before Thank you so much to everyone. From a first visit to completed installation I couldn’t fault anything and the actual installation only took 7 hours too

I made contact regarding a new boiler quote, there was no obligation but the cost was super competitive so just over a week later my new Gloworm boiler has arrived. The lads were brilliant, on time, very clean and professional. Ensured my Hive was all set up. I was recommended Slattery Plumbers by a friend - we both live in apartments and have no gas so needed a new electric boiler (not many places install electric boilers). Firstly to deal with a local independent company rather than a big national company makes a huge difference. You are treated so well and when I ring and say its Angie, they know exactly who I am. The lady I spoke to, Bianca, is super efficient as well and we chat away on the phone. Secondly after my quote arrived for the work, I rang and spoke to Bianca regarding a query and within a couple of hours she had come back to me with the answer. I then wished to proceed and in just over a week my new boiler was installed. The chap arrived to install my boiler and it is amazing. Not sure how I have managed for the past few years with my old one. After he had left you literally would not know he had been in my apartment, other than there was my new amazing boiler in all its glory. Would I recommended them? Absolutely 100%. Don't hesitate. They are a wonderful company, very competitively priced and really look after their customers, both before and after. This was my second time using them and will not go anywhere else.

I called union to fix a radiator in my bedroom, it was fixed but stopped working 3 weeks later. Union came back and sorted the problem and fitted a new thermostatic valve. I didn't have to pay anything the second time. I was very happy about this and would reccomend.

I visited today and had the lemon drizzle cake and coffee which was delicious. I was served straight away and the lady was really nice and polite. She got me a table straight away and brought my cake and coffee over to me. I love the pictures of last of the summer wine are on the walls of the tearoom, it really does add character to the name of the tea room itself. I would definitely recommend this place and I would like to come again, if I'm in Holmfirth again in the near future.

A cafe in a rural setting. Dog friendly. Nice selection of brunch/lunch foods on the menu as well as cakes. The coffee had a good flavour and was a good value. Their small car park fills up quickly but there's wide enough roads around to park your car. Of the things I'd like to see done differently is to set the egg whites slightly more as my egg's white was very runny (but thanks to that the yolk was perfectly runny). I do however hate a solid yolk so I've got to be careful what I am wishing for. There's a public footpath at the end of Field Lane if you fancy stretching your legs. Overall a good place and we'll be back.

We used Field for their external catering services on our wedding day. Jo was helpful throughout the whole experience in arranging and organising our menu and day. The team on the day, and set up before, were friendly and helpful. All of our guests have commented on how good the food was - Ploughman’s starter, roast dinner with all the trimmings and afternoon tea style desserts. I called GPC on a Saturday morning, to ask if they could come out to investigate why my gas fire wouldn't light. They rang back later that afternoon & arranged for their engineer to attend on Thursday afternoon,They did say were busy & gave me a slot of between 3-5. The engineer arrived at 5.30 & apologised for being late but other jobs had taken longer than planned. He tested the gas fire,carried out a test on the chimney breast in the loft, then stripped everything out of the fire & discovered it was covered in rubble & dust & all the jets were blocked. He cleaned everything out of the fire & out of the gas jets,got it all working again, rebuilt it all, carried out another smoke test & was happy that the fire & flue were working as they should. He was very polite,professional & made no mess at all considering how bad it was at back of my fire,he covered the carpet with a large sheet & vacuumed everything up that had come out of the fire. Great service & work carried out. Will be glad to recommend this company to anyone who needs quality workmanship carrying out.

Everything about this place was wonderful, the food, atmosphere and the owner and waitresses. When we arrived they had already closed the kitchen but made an exception for us, talk about quality customer service 😄 , the owner came up to us and was a genuinely nice guy.
