I needed a leak from the shower tracing and as the leak was only showing on the floor of the room next door it wasn't a simple job. Miles kept me fully aware of the steps he intended to take in way of investigation and he did an excellent job. Incredible first time at Strada cafe, such a calm ambience to have some breakfast in peace, we got the french toast, omlette and beans & the strada breakfast, everything was exceptional! the flavours were unreal, can’t wait to come back! the owner and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming too!

We ordered Strada special large breakfast, large French toast with a kids meal and a milky chai latte. Their breakfast definitely has a special touch. The sausage is very nice, a hand made taste, not the standard sausages you find in other cafes. The diced potatoes are very tasty and the eggs had some green seasoning ontop which was really tasty. I like the uniqueness of the breakfast it’s not a standard full English it’s definitely got a special touch. Got to give credit to the owner, never seen a cafe where the owner himself makes sure your food is good and comes to speak to you.

Heard about this place through a friend. Paid a visit today for brunch. Absolutely amazing food, made in house and you can tell by how fresh and amazing it is. Would recommend the Nutella latte not sure how they made it but it’s the best thing ever. Can’t wait to sample the whole menu, will definitely be back again. Staff were very friendly. The owner was very helpful with suggesting options and had a good conversation. Really nice atmosphere too, cosy and calm. Free parking at the back too. Will definitely be back!

Amazing food and great coffee, I’d honestly say one of the best brunches/lunchs I’ve had. You can tell the owner is passionate about the food and this really comes through. I had the ultimate philly cheesesteak, nicely spiced beef and cheese, potatoes were perfect and the sauces were amazing. My wife had the South African Breakfast, the sausages were delicious and unique definitely a must try!

First time visit to Strada and it was absolutely EPIC!. We had the Strada Breakfast and Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich with Fresh Juice and Strada Latte. The main man know exactly what he's doing and is such a lovely pleasant man as is the staff. The ingredients are fresh and genuine, the cooking is perfect and the overall enjoyment is just simply beautiful. The atmosphere is homely which is a bonus. Take a trip to Strada and simply enjoy unique foods and excellent service which is something we dont see often. Highly recommend the philly cheese steak (the meat is on a different level). We've been here twice now for lunch ( both times we had the hot pork roll , chips and gravy ), and both times, the food (huge portions and extremely delicious) , the staff , and the service here have been amazing. We'll definitely be back when in the area again.

I visited today and had the lemon drizzle cake and coffee which was delicious. I was served straight away and the lady was really nice and polite. She got me a table straight away and brought my cake and coffee over to me. I love the pictures of last of the summer wine are on the walls of the tearoom, it really does add character to the name of the tea room itself. I would definitely recommend this place and I would like to come again, if I'm in Holmfirth again in the near future.

Good prices considering it's association with Last of the Summer Wine. Great Coffee and a nice big Teacake that our Sandwiches came in. Friendly Staff. Highly recommended. Access is at street level from the main road if the stone steps at the riverside are too much for you.

I have used Union Plumbing and Heating for my first time buy on a property. Not knowing where to go, and knowing the boiler had issues, I wanted a service and repairs making. The engineer was really nice and polite and respectful when he attended my property. The pricing was resonable and one of the packages is exactly what I had in mind. The communication with the head office was spot on as well. I'm really pleased with the overall service of the UP&H and I have already recommended to friends and family.

Union plumbing &heating did an excellent job of fitting our new bathroom. All the plumbers were knowledgeable and polite and even cleared up after themselves at the end of each day. Special mention for Darren for who did all the foundation work, and Lou for really good customer services. I would highly recommend this firm.

A great service from start to finish. I called to book In a boiler service and was greeted by a very helpful lady who explained the different options available to me along with prices. The service was booked in at a convenient time to myself. On the day I received a message to advise when the engineer would arrive. The staff at this veterinary practice have been fantastic, not in only caring for my dogs, but ensuing a dignified and peaceful end to one of my dogs life. Been using this surgery from the day it opened. The staff in the reception are brilliant, always pleasant and helpful, nothing is a problem for them. Also the Vets are very good, they are kind and care about your pets, they explain everything to you about your pets illness and do everything they can to help. I can recommend them to anyone needing treatment for there pets

Palmer and Duncan vets have always been very efficient and informative in dealing with our dog Willow a working stock retriever and Sooty and Mittens the young cats. Mittens they saved when she had emergency major surgery after she swallowed a length of sewing cotton that got stuck in her gut. All the staff are very friendly and bubbly. When your pet needs extra care they were good to refer to another practitioner. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

My beloved dog, Max, was only registered at Palmer and Duncan a short time before we had to say goodbye to him on Friday evening, but the patience, care and compassion shown by all staff we met during that time was outstanding. Thank you so much for making such a difficult time that little bit easier for us. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone in Ossett with a pet.

I called GPC on a Saturday morning, to ask if they could come out to investigate why my gas fire wouldn't light. They rang back later that afternoon & arranged for their engineer to attend on Thursday afternoon,They did say were busy & gave me a slot of between 3-5. The engineer arrived at 5.30 & apologised for being late but other jobs had taken longer than planned. He tested the gas fire,carried out a test on the chimney breast in the loft, then stripped everything out of the fire & discovered it was covered in rubble & dust & all the jets were blocked. He cleaned everything out of the fire & out of the gas jets,got it all working again, rebuilt it all, carried out another smoke test & was happy that the fire & flue were working as they should. He was very polite,professional & made no mess at all considering how bad it was at back of my fire,he covered the carpet with a large sheet & vacuumed everything up that had come out of the fire. Great service & work carried out. Will be glad to recommend this company to anyone who needs quality workmanship carrying out.

Brilliant spot to eat. I have been here a couple times recently after going for a walk. First of all the staff are lovely and welcoming. The variety of food is great and i ended up choosing off the specials. I had a Korean pork belly and beef burger which was 10/10, can’t recommend highly enough. I’ve also been before and had the breakfast skillet which is also a great fry up. All the food is well priced and good portions. Thanks

Been 4/5 times and always had a lovely meal- the specials change regularly and always have a good selection. It’s quite a small place so would recommend booking as it’s very popular and does fill up. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The kimchi tofu rice is fantastic and the Italian eggs were great. Had a lovely brunch here with my wife and our friend. Fantastic welcome from the attentive and friendly staff. Menu is broad but not overwhelming, with options for all tastes. Coffee is high quality and made for those who appreciate a very good cup. Food was made by people who care about flavour and pesentation, and you can see and taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The service was quick and easy, and felt tended to, but not pressured. Atmosphere is lovely, with super chill music and pleasant decoration. Overall; clean, tasty, sensible prices and lovely people. Will 100% go back.

We have eaten here many times, but last trip we brought my sister who is coeliac. She thought everything was excellent, and was very impressed with the quality of the gluten free meals. Her only regret? That she didn't live closer so she could come every Sunday for brunch 😀

Found NSP on Google after failed attempts at finding a Plumber who actually dealt with leaks Very happy chappy who came when said took one look at my leak & could of taken me for a ride. He was very honest & told me straight away to go through my insurance. He could have very easily pulled my walls & floor boards apart trying to find the source & fixing it to charge extortionate prices. Instead he was very honest and gave me the best option for me. Would definitely recommend & will definitely be keeping his number for any future jobs
