Lovely Sunday roast, great cocktails and has a lovely outdoor seating area for the summer months. Lots of events go on here too; so it's always worth to take a look to see what they've got on. Trendy vibe.

We only called in for a drink, so can't comment on food. Will be back another day to try that. The building/decoration looks lovely. Most tables were reserved when we arrived, so we sat at the bar, which was fine by us. Nice atmosphere too.

I visited here with family as we had rented a holiday home nearby. It is a beautiful venue with a modern yet charming interior. It seemed very popular as there wasn't a spare table. Perhaps this had something to do with it being two days before New Years Day. However, it was still a Monday. There was a large selection of drinks to choose from with offers on some, including cask ale and cocktails. The food was great as we all enjoyed what we ordered.

Had an impromptu Sunday Roast here with some friends and their pooch and it was very good. We called in on the off chance and they were able to fit us in straight away. We sat downstairs in a nice lounge area with football on the TV. Can't fault it at all for the price. The service we received from the girls was very good although we asked if we could have a sausage or something for the dog and we were told no which was a little inflexible but hey, maybe they have their reasons. It wasn't a deal breaker. I see some reviewers have marked the place down for atmosphere or being a little noisy which I thought was unfair, it's just a lively type of place. It certainly shouldn't lose marks for that. Horses for courses and all that. You don't go to the Red Lion and expect there to be a pianist in the corner. If you want a quiet, romantic meal, you would go somewhere appropriate. We parked on Gas Street Car Park which is right next to the place and costs a maximum of 3 quid ( I think ) for the whole day so it was very convenient for our wander round Howarth. Just a short walk up the hill to the main Drag.

Marquis of Granby

1 Hospital Rd, Riddlesden, Keighley BD20 5EP, UK | Pub
P: 01535 555400

Rating: 4.4 (336) Price Level:

The owners were very welcoming, and as it was early in the day, we were able to have a long chat with them. The pub is dog friendly. There was a nice fire going which made the place quite homely even though there were few customers at the time. We didn't have any food, but the menu was very good. We didn't stay as long as we would have liked as it started to snow heavily and we decided to make tracks early. We will be visiting again the next time we are in the area.

Having not been to the Granby since the 90's we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Staff were all friendly, waitresses were polite and left the right amount of time between courses/ordering etc. Quality of food was up there with some of the best country pubs I've been to which I wasn't expecting with it been tucked away in the middle of Riddlesden. Although we didn't sit in the bar it looked clean and cosy, dogs were welcome. A very homely atmosphere. We will certainly be back soon.

We have just had 3 amazing courses at this place. The taste and the presentation of the food was amazing. The four of us agreed that that food was better than nearly every restaurant that we have been to. Thanks to the Chef, the management and our waitress Emily. If you are looking for a restaurant in the Bradford area that is amazing, come to this place. Steve

After a long walk by the canal we were pleased to find the Marquis of Granby open and called in for some refreshment. Received a warm welcome and after a Guinness, Cider and some pleasant chat we decided to walk back to Bingley instead of catching the bus. Can't comment about the food as we did not partake but it is definitely worth a visit. Amended opening hours :- Mon -Thurs 14:00 till late.

Outstanding Customer Service…I can’t recommend Oliver highly enough. He advised how to deal with the manufacturer when I had a problem, he found and organised fitting of a new oven. The process was so quick and effortless, my new oven was installed within a day.

We recently bought a cooker from Andrew’s and the experience has been excellent throughout. Sales staff were helpful and knowledgeable without being ‘pushy’. The transaction was smooth and orderly. We pointed out that access to our kitchen is up some steep stairs so 3 delivery men were sent to do the job - and completed it without too much grunting! We would happily recommend Andrew’s friendly and efficient service. Maggie & Andrew Marsden

Really friendly, helpful company who realise the importance of good customer care & enact it to a very high standard. Particularly impressed with Terry who sorted a difficult problem with a minimum of fuss & at a pleasantly reasonable cost.

Boothroyd decided on a 5* review based on the beer range. They sell six real ales from the Bridgehousr brewery. Only had their beers a couple of times before. Good pints of Golden and also a Pale Ale. A large pub that has most tables laid out for food. A pricey pub menu. A good size beer garden. My missus rates the wine. Definitely a destination pub for a night out.
