Food and service excellent considering how busy they were.Dd not stop.Staff workrd very hard and kept on top off clearing the tables.Atnosperre was good.👍
We attend monthly networking meetings for mums/women in business in the bar room of the George and the staff are always very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Drinks are always served quickly and the staff take time to make guests feel welcomed, and we sometimes have food too, which is delicious with staff accommodating requests wherever possible. 😊
Me and my colleague were working on the George roof all day on Friday... The staff and manager (Heather) were extremely hospitable.... Thank you !! This is a very popular pub, lots of regulars enjoying the food and atmosphere.... Dog friendly Phil was working the bar and no one was waiting long even during busy periods.. All in all The George seems a great place to meet, eat and enjoy some family time.. Fyi... there are multiple seating areas so if it's just a quiet pint and a read of your newspaper the back room is ideal for this too 😉 Thanks to Heather and the team for looking after us on Friday... It's very much appreciated (D) 👍😎
