At work we go out of our way and pass other cafes to go here because the Cookhouse is so good. A hidden gem and well worth paying them a visit, you will not be disappointed. Very friendly staff and top notch grub.

My Sister and I came here today, especially, on her sons recommendation. It dd not dissapoint. We ordered 2 Americano's a Ultimate Carrott cake and a Queen Vic. Thoroughly enjoyed everything. Great service friendly staff and fabulous decor. ( lamp shades very coveted) we will be back. Thank you so much.

Went here today 31st December for the first time with family. Was a lovely place. Halal food. Very welcoming and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food fresh made and you can taste it was! Will definitely be going again. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went to eat here today and omg it was delicious. The food was outstanding and just the way we like it. Proper home cooked food. The owners are amazing and the lovely lady was so sweet and we had a lovely conversation. Felt like family. We will defo be coming back and bringing our family here too. So happy that it’s so local too.

I had an issue with a light switch that had been poorly installed by another electrician, but Gary came to the rescue and completely fixed it! He quickly identifying the problem and ensured everything was corrected to a high standard. I truly appreciated Gary’s attention to detail and the care taken to ensure the work was done safely and properly. It’s such a relief to have found someone so reliable and skilled. I highly recommend Gary for any electrical work especially if you need someone to fix mistakes from others! Absolutely top-notch service.

Gary was very professional from start to finish so we have used him twice. He was very knowledgeable about the jobs he was doing for me and put us at ease over his competence. We found him to be very tidy and could work around our needs. Ross and the team were helpful, prompt, polite and on time. We had some outdoor lighting replaced/added to. From the quote visit to completion everything was done professionally and with a reasonable price. We are really pleased with the security lighting, and the two electricians who did the work were really polite and hard working. I would thoroughly recommend if you want a quality piece of work done by professional electricians. There may be “cheaper” quotes out there, but with electrics, I wouldn’t take chances personally. Ross and his team came round earlier this year to do some work on rewiring our en suite bathroom and upgrading our alarm system. The standard of the work was excellent, Ross and his employees were diligent and professional, and everything was left neat and tidy. After-sales treatment was similarly brilliant and Ross assured us that if there were any problems, then he would come round immediately to correct them. No concerns there though, since the work was done to such a high standard. Overall, can't recommend RSS Electrical enough and well worth the money.

Extremely impressed with RSS, I will definitely be using this company for any future electrical work required. We had a doorbell installed and 3 double sockets added into various rooms in the property. Really great communication from start to finish. Ross came around to do view the work required, was quick to come back with a quote and book us in. I've been going to Paul's for a while now as the perfect spot to stop on a day browsing up and down Harborne high street. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming, and even when it gets busy the team will do their best to let you know when seating will be available and offer to get in touch to let you know so you can continue shopping while you wait. The food is always amazing, there's a range of items on offer, all day brunch, great lunch options, sweet dishes and cakes, all to suit a range of appetites and dietary requirements. There's so many good options I've often had difficulty deciding and the team have been helpful in helping advise and adapting where possible. Would recommend Paul's to anyone visiting the area!

I was here at 8am this morning. Clean, bright and airy. Friendly staff. Locals who knew the staff were constantly coming in while I was there, having a chat which made for a good atmosphere. The ingredients were all very good quality including the coffee; the home made beans and rosti were really nice and unique. I was very happy and very satisfied, thoroughly recommended.

An amazing establishment, highly recommend if you’re looking for a breakfast/brunch spot. High quality food with authentic homemade twists. Tomatoes were seasoned lovely, the homemade beans were so flavourful and not your typical out the can rubbish. Potato rosti perfectly seasoned, best breakfast Ive had in Birmingham! The hot drinks were top quality too!

Excellent service, a very reasonable price and friendly. I had electricity taken to my garden room via an armoured cable. They completed the work to a high standard and installed plug points, an LED strip light and an outdoor security light. They also installed a new plug socket in the house as well. Overall, I’m very happy with the service and I would highly recommend.

I have tried every breakfast cafe in the local area and this one is hands down the best for a proper English breakfast. Always consistent with taste and quality. The girls here are amazing too, made to feel welcome and make you leave with a smile. Quite a small inside area but this doesn't effect me as I always take away. Cant fault this place in any way. They also offer a wide range of dinners too with lots of daily specials advertised. Plenty of homemade cakes and sweet items too. Dont hesitate to go here if your hungry for some good old hearty food, you wont be disappointed.

It's one of the best café I've ever been! Sandwiches are fresh done and taste great. My kids love it sausage rolls. They're always must have it. Ladies working in the are greatly positive and helpful. Definitely will be visit the again soon.
